We welcome back, former marine Connor Epps, who in this episode will be reacting to Arma 3.
Connor will analyze the game's graphics, gameplay mechanics, and storyline. He will discuss the tactical decisions made by the game's characters and evaluate whether they reflect real-world military strategies.

Arma 3 is an open-world realism-based military tactical shooter video game developed and published by Bohemia Interactive exclusively through the Steam distribution platform. It is the third main entry in the Arma series, and the eighth installment overall. Arma 3 was released for Microsoft Windows on September 12, 2013, and for macOS and Linux on August 31, 2015.
Arma 3 primarily takes place in the mid-2030s, on the fictional islands of Altis and Stratis in the South Mediterranean Sea. The game's expansions are set on the South Pacific archipelago of Tanoa; the Strait of Gibraltar island of Malden; the Eastern European country of Livonia; the Western Saharan country of Argana; and several real-life locations, including parts of Mainland Southeast Asia and Europe. The game's maps feature photorealistic terrain and water environments. The game features multiple single-player and co-op campaigns, released episodically, most of which follow various perspectives surrounding the 2035 Altis Incident, a war fought in Altis and Stratis.

In arma reforger they have shoulder tapping for silent signaling

I'm not sure if this still holds true, but previously if you are talking into your radio and it's not being broadcast on "speaker" by anyone else nearby, the enemy is unable to hear you. If you talk loudly enough or forget to change your volume to "whisper" they can still hear you. The AI is a bit old and finicky in A3, so it can be unpredictable. Also, the decent radio mods (ACRE and TFAR) are addons to A3 and go through Teamspeak as the Arma in-game radio is pretty much hot garbage. There are mods you can use to "squeeze" a shoulder or do other things, but there are so many f'ing keybinds in A3 already, it's just one more I don't care to set up and learn.

Its a game! you cant have the full experience and have hand signals since most players dont know sign language. thats why they hgave to adjust so the players can understand whats going on.

Arma 3 player here i’ve played 2k hours and by far the worst and most annoying brain numbing group are the full on milsimers they always are the biggest losers saying A-firm all the time and they use codes that no ones knows but them and the worst part is they are so terrible at the game it drops my mouth

I mean, if they have fun they have fun. But what I find funny is the silent civil war the community has, like PvP players and PvE players trashing each other or Like in this case the Mil-sim players

Oh yeah, it will video games. Don’t give you those options in order to make hand signals, so for you to bust their ass on that it’s not the players fault. It’s the developers fault and you should be busting their ass instead.
