Ooohh thanks funny as can be!! I was there with a few friends. I bought vip tickets which came with a limousine before and after the show. Omg this comment is perfect! So we ended up not getting the best seats lesson learned. $1350 a seat but here’s the story. I was sitting on a isle seat. Security saw me filming. Told me to put my phone away. I did. Then I started recording again with my phone against my chest so no light to be seen. However when the mushroom gummy’s hit along with a very badass part of a song I stood up proud, waiving my phone taking a video of me and my friends and our new friends that we sat next to who gave us gummy’s 🤣 Busted again 🤬 It was a assuming early 60’s man that had to be thinking “got one “! So here comes the crescendo. The security asked me to come with him. He asked me to show him my phone. What I was doing with it. I quickly tried to open my photos and told him I was just sharing a photo to my friends of my fiancé and I. He said no! That’s not what I saw and I was escorted out of the front door. And here’s the kicker. I called the limo driver and he came from his house after taking bong hits while waiting for us. So obviously a giant tool fan I was in disarray. I had the driver take me to 7 eleven where I knew they at least sold hats and hopefully a hoodie. I was wearing a unmistakable shirt and Mohawk. So found a beanie at 7-11 a few minutes away. Hoodie shop was a ways away. I showed stress to my limo driver. That cool ass man got it. He gave me his very nice leather jacket and with my beanie and digital ticket I walked straight back to my seat with my friends and finished the concert. I think I only missed one song as you know how tools songs are. They thought I went to have a smoke 🤪 That lady was right 🤣✌️

The visuals on Pneuma made me cry... first show with my 8 y.o. daughter and she absolutely loved every minute of it, I just had the most amazing experience ever. It was PERFECT.
Literally the 2 hours felt like 10 mins I was so like just Tranced how epic they were, can imagine the people on shit how they felt lol. Enjoy that shit brotha and cherish the show and memories from it

Great set....only wish they would have dropped Descending and added 7empest in its place and I could have done without Aeon Blue Apocalypse...would have rather seen a deep cut from Undertow (Bottom/Crawl Away/Swamp Song) I have 23 TOOL shows under my belt starting with Lollapalooza sidestage 1993. Maynard sang with more power during this set than he has in the last few years. He always brings his "A" game but he definitely hasn't been as aggressive vocally over the last decade (which is totally understandable for a guy in his mid 50s). Grateful they are stil out touring and making great music. They are in a class all by themselves
Yeah that’s fair. It was a surprising set needless to say! I wish they played a couple others but considering it’s Tool is there an honestly bad bad song to be played live? Haha. That’s epic though! Insane tour history with them I’m jealous! Glad I can experience them at least once in my lifetime! Grateful for the appreciation and happy these ole rocker dudes are still rockin harder than most people today! Enjoy and hope you can make a few more Tool concerts to add to that amazing tally
@@aensulpak Nope....there really is no such thing as a bad TOOL set list. Having seen them so many times I have definitely seen shows that leaned Heavy.....ones that leaned more on the trippy side...some that were just absolutely amazing with long epic jams....some that were tight made up of mainly "singles" or hits (if you can call them that...and even a few shows that were not stellar. That being said...the worst TOOL show is still light years better than most bands best shows. At this point I say just go and see them every chance you get because as much as I hate to think it...they are not going to be around forever....in fact I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Fear Innoculum is their swan song. I truly hope I am wrong and hope we get at least one more studio album from them but they aren't exactly known for churning albums out rapidly. So...savor the band while we can and see them as often as time and circumstance allows. Cheers my friend...hope the new year is treating you well.
the very least is tool will not include stinkfist, fortysix & 2, and ænima in this tour playlist, as if these are live staples thru the years... yet hooker with a penis and pushit is in there theyve leaned into Aenima songs for the longest time when i saw this kind of playlist, and with the Lateralus vibes with Fear Inoculum, The Grudge and The Patient are like meant to be in this tour playlist, or maybe one more song from Lateralus...., of course more leaning into Fear Inoculum, since they are still touring for this album.... but still ænima is their best record to date....
Hell yeah!!!! I suspect they won’t stray too far from the set but would be cool to make each show a tad more unique! Rock out though and enjoy yourself! Truly an experience
Its going to be the most incredible concert experience you'll ever have. It'll be several days before you're able to fully comprehend what you've just witnessed and heard. My beloved Depeche Mode, NIN and Rammstein are the only other bands who leave me speechless after concerts. Tool is something special 😌😌 Enjoy the show!

@@quailbaugh honestly if you are in the mix like towards the middle or if you are VIP in upper parts of the stadiums youll be fine, the people on the edges of the rows were the ones that mostly got tagged, hid mine just under my sweatshirt hood so couldnt see it from the back, enjoy that shit and hope ya capture some amazing moments

You are a naughty boy, but thanks so much for taking the risk to video the set. I'm fucking amazed, great versions of The Pot and The Grudge, which I thought Maynard had trouble replicating live these days. That scream at the end of The Grudge left my spine tingling.
Well worth it in the end! Now Tool fans globally can enjoy another show, which is far more satisfying than anything else considering the strict policies they have. I respect it all and would’ve stopped at first warning but someone’s gotta be clutch ;) enjoy it!
This setlist is so sick, i saw them a month later same tour they didnt play right in two but played eon blue and the patient after the grudge. And had culling voices before invincible at the end. Glad they played the hooker song
Completely messed up the timing on Pushit, Grudge (right after the "the damage cauuussssed" line, but he actually made up for it by hitting all the high notes on the next verse, which he usually doesn't do live, pretty cool) and Hooker too lmao, sung the first "I sold out long before you ever heard my name" way too early and you can hear the band trying to figure out if they're gonna catch upto him or not and just getting kind of lost haha. Still a great show.
When i was 4 Tool visited to my country(south korea) with metallica as a support band. Unfortunatelly Audiences booed and threw bottle of water to them. they won't come to my country again. So i bought plane ticket to uk to see them. I'm so exited to see my favorate band.
for my venue considering its oregon, we were required to show proof of vax and wear a mask, obviously once ya get in mask wasnt as like enforced (people were enjoyin shit cant blame em), considering your shows are more midwest-south I have no clue my friend, id look into the venues policies and see what they say, my tickets on ticketmaster showed all info needed for my venue

@@mtlman906 They are still human and that was trivial. Not many people noticed I'm sure. They are literally one of the only bands I've ever seen that sounds almost identical to their records. That in itself is incredible with the technicality of their music.

Great set....only wish they would have dropped Descending and added 7empest in its place and I could have done without Aeon Blue Apocalypse...would have rather seen a deep cut from Undertow (Bottom/Crawl Away/Swamp Song) I have 23 TOOL shows under my belt starting with Lollapalooza sidestage 1993. Maynard sang with more power during this set than he has in the last few years. He always brings his "A" game but he definitely hasn't been as aggressive vocally over the last decade (which is totally understandable for a guy in his mid 50s).
Grateful they are stil out touring and making great music.

@@aensulpak Nope....there really is no such thing as a bad TOOL set list. Having seen them so many times I have definitely seen shows that leaned Heavy.....ones that leaned more on the trippy side...some that were just absolutely amazing with long epic jams....some that were tight made up of mainly "singles" or hits (if you can call them that...and even a few shows that were not stellar. That being said...the worst TOOL show is still light years better than most bands best shows. At this point I say just go and see them every chance you get because as much as I hate to think it...they are not going to be around forever....in fact I wouldn't be entirely surprised if Fear Innoculum is their swan song. I truly hope I am wrong and hope we get at least one more studio album from them but they aren't exactly known for churning albums out rapidly. So...savor the band while we can and see them as often as time and circumstance allows. Cheers my friend...hope the new year is treating you well.

@@quailbaugh honestly if you are in the mix like towards the middle or if you are VIP in upper parts of the stadiums youll be fine, the people on the edges of the rows were the ones that mostly got tagged, hid mine just under my sweatshirt hood so couldnt see it from the back, enjoy that shit and hope ya capture some amazing moments

You are a naughty boy, but thanks so much for taking the risk to video the set. I'm fucking amazed, great versions of The Pot and The Grudge, which I thought Maynard had trouble replicating live these days. That scream at the end of The Grudge left my spine tingling.
Well worth it in the end! Now Tool fans globally can enjoy another show, which is far more satisfying than anything else considering the strict policies they have. I respect it all and would’ve stopped at first warning but someone’s gotta be clutch ;) enjoy it!

Completely messed up the timing on Pushit, Grudge (right after the "the damage cauuussssed" line, but he actually made up for it by hitting all the high notes on the next verse, which he usually doesn't do live, pretty cool) and Hooker too lmao, sung the first "I sold out long before you ever heard my name" way too early and you can hear the band trying to figure out if they're gonna catch upto him or not and just getting kind of lost haha. Still a great show.
When i was 4 Tool visited to my country(south korea) with metallica as a support band.
Unfortunatelly Audiences booed and threw bottle of water to them.
they won't come to my country again.
So i bought plane ticket to uk to see them. I'm so exited to see my favorate band.

for my venue considering its oregon, we were required to show proof of vax and wear a mask, obviously once ya get in mask wasnt as like enforced (people were enjoyin shit cant blame em), considering your shows are more midwest-south I have no clue my friend, id look into the venues policies and see what they say, my tickets on ticketmaster showed all info needed for my venue

Además, se que tool genera cierta hipnosis (a mí me sucede de solo escucharlo) pero también existe espacio para la euforia en muchos momentos de la música de esta banda. Aquí no existe algo parecido.

@@mtlman906 They are still human and that was trivial. Not many people noticed I'm sure. They are literally one of the only bands I've ever seen that sounds almost identical to their records. That in itself is incredible with the technicality of their music.
