This audio isn't new. Nobody wanted Thomas on the team. Including the general public. Clyde was the only one had no problem him. Public knowledge at the time.

joceja23 You would think so but that’s not the case. I’ve seen nothing but LBJ fans who think MJ is lying or that the doc wasn’t legit. They’re the same ones who would rather believe Shannon/Nick Wright than actual game footage/former players/legends.

MJ SAID WIN AT ALL COST. MAGIC SAID WIN AT ALL COST. BUT WHEN ISIAH WON AT ALL COST. EVERYBODY WAS HATING. If they didnt want isiah on the team, why cant they man up and admit it. Lol
So let me guess if LeBron said he didn’t want KD or Steph Curry on TEAM USA, he would have the right to say that as well or is it just another Jordan thing?
Cuz he lied. People always suspected this, and most won't have had an issue if he just said this since. But he decided to be the coward and lie. Let's be honest adults here.
@@charlesbrown8489 I mean ..that we are talkin about it 28 yrs later like it happened yesterday. Pippen already alluded to Mike's feelings a long long time ago.
Jordan isn’t man enough to admit he didn’t want Isiah even though he actually can do no wrong in the world. He’s that insecure? Barkley says whatever he wants and is genuine because he don’t AF, right or wrong, real man. Jordan needs acceptance from society, that’s female behavior.
I'm shocked too... Gentlemen there's no way it's Charles Barkley... Why would Rod Thorn defer to Barkley's opinion as to whether or not Isiah is on the team?... The first subtitle on here said Barkley, but then it changed and showed Chuck Daly... Furthermore they speak about Daly, not Barkley.
Aaron C when the name “Chuck” comes up, it’s natural to think of Daly. When Rod Thorn referred to Barkley, he wasn’t deferring to Barkley, but rather implying that others don’t want him on the team either. At the end of the day, Rod Thorn is as shady as one can get. Wouldn’t be surprised that he just threw out Chuck’s name for Jordan’s comfort.
In my opinion he did not block Isiah, he just say that he wasn't playing with him. The federation block Isiah to have Jordan playing in Barcelona. Of course It was a "dirty move", knowing that Jordan was the best player at that time, but I don't think he is THAT guilty. This happens ALL the time in sports.
MJ could have simply said the truth, but to be fair, this is how it is with any team scenario... whether sport or employment... nobody goes for people who they believe may be a disturbing influence on that team. So it's hardly a bad thing for players to speak up on other players they believed to be bad for the team in that regard. An employer would do the same and judge whether they want a disturbance within their company or not.
This is how the media spins things... Jordan basically said the same thing twice but I'm a different way... He basically said that he didn't wasn't Isiah playing and they assured him he wouldn't play both times ... One was more implicit and understood and one was explaining intent and more specific...
LOL!!! I know!!! Joker was like 9yrs old in 1992 and I just graduated from high school so i watched every moment of the Dream Team and I'll tell ya, watching with my own eyes (live) how they Bad Boys played, I don't blame Jordan one second.....

Idk man. It’s like KG tryna join the Dream Team 2 with Bron, Melo, Wade, Kobe, etc. None of them would’ve wanted him on the team because of his on court antics. I just think people are upset because Jordan lied about it.
If all the votes are "NO", the clout of one person's "no" vs every other person's "no" becomes irrelevent. Been different if some players were in favor of IT's involvement but there weren't anyone on that team that wanted IT there.
Mike is petty, all because Isiah didnt shake his hands, Isiah was hurt they lost, it was bad sportsmanship but to actually say you hate him and your not gonna play if Isiah is playing, that's some petty shhh!!!

You have to think of it from Jordan's eyes. Thomas and the Bad Boy Pistons disrespected Jordan and the Bulls for one. Then when they went head to head the Pistons had to resort to rough tactics to stop Jordan.
The part everyone’s losing is before Jordan was even asked thorn has it set that Thomas wasn’t on the team either way because whoever they spoke to before Jordan has already said the same thing

What Did He(MJ)Lie about? He(MJ)said He had No involvement in Isiah not being Selected to The Dream Team. On The Audio, what I Heard MJ say was if Isiah is Playing, I'm Not and from what I Heard Rod Thorn say was that it was Already Decided prior to THIS Conversation, that Isiah was Excluded, and if The CHUCK They're referring to in The Audio really is Chuck Daly(Isiah's Coach)Then I Don't Understand how MJ is Culpable for Isiah being Left off.
Mark English don’t waste your breathe. These millennials will hate anything that’s older than they are. Most of us know the entire story, not just an audio snip. MJ was one of the last people asked to be on the team. They already decided isiah wasn’t going to be on the team
Isiah Thomas lied aswell in the bad boys 30 for 30 he said it was his idea to walk off without shaking hands, but in the last dance he said it was all Laimbeers idea
Just goes to show that memory isn’t perfect man. We need to quit microanalyzing these guys. They’re just people.
He said it was Laimbeers idea way before the last dance. He just followed through and agreed with lambieer. I don't think he ever said it was his idea
Laimbeer said it was his idea bro did you not watch the bad boy doc?
Master Pierce yeah I did watch the bad boys doc 😂 laimbeer said it was his idea but Isiah also said it was his watch it again bro

0:18 So are we going to talk about the fact the caption says BARKLEY but the commentators keep referring to DALY? So which Chuck is it???
that was an honest mistake, see the reaction, they were expecting Daly not Barkley, besides, we all know it's the coach, we weren't born yesterday
Chuck Daly is already gone..there's nobody to speak up for him now
So „Chuck” is barkley or daly? Make your mind, bottom screen panel!
Was wondering the same thing...
Doesn't it say which Chuck they're talking about at the bottom of the screen
@MADZ maybe it was Charlie Brown. Peppermint Patty called him Chuck.
HotMessMemories1 nope, Chuck Testa 🤣
It's Chuck Norris
Espn y’all still talking about this?
So is fox sports one
I know, right...they should be talking about the current NBA games. Oh, wait. I mean, just because there are no other sports to be talking about and this epic documentary about the GOAT just came out, bringing sports fans out of their delirium, and chock full of all kinds of scandals still irritating players 30 years later, doesn't mean they should still be talking about it 😕
Unbelivable....Can't take it anymore
Well in their defense, there isn’t an active NBA to talk about so what else’s there, besides this documentary which could open up this discussion again? What, that stupid horse from home game that was played last month?
This audio isn't new. Nobody wanted Thomas on the team. Including the general public. Clyde was the only one had no problem him. Public knowledge at the time.
Not true. Most guys on that had no reason to have a problem with Isiah and very few would even have the clout to matter. There were other beefs on that team... But the Jordan/Isiah one was the worse.
Aaron C wrong. MJ, Pippen, Magic, Barkley, and Malone all hated him.

To be fair, half the squad probably didn’t want Isiah Thomas on the team. But Michael Jordan made it abundantly clear he didn’t want Isiah Thomas on the team.
I don’t know what to believe now from “The Last Tap Dance”
The same people who feel the same way like you are usually the same ones who would rather listen to Shannon/Nick Wright/Broussard etc instead.

What ever you say *LeBronian*.

You would think so but that’s not the case. I’ve seen nothing but LBJ fans who think MJ is lying or that the doc wasn’t legit. They’re the same ones who would rather believe Shannon/Nick Wright than actual game footage/former players/legends.
Last tap dance lol, good one.
Don't believe the hype.

Erik Hopkins he didn’t lie, the narrative was a lot of people had a problem with IT on the team, they knew what Magic’s stance was and they knew what Jordan’s stance was, and Ewing’s and Pippen’s.

6 Titles.
Isaiah petty, leave it alone bro. Nobody wanted you on the team. Including your on coach.

@@AnanseSavage The elders on the team would have had to give it the OK
Jordan isn’t man enough to admit he didn’t want Isiah even though he actually can do no wrong in the world. He’s that insecure? Barkley says whatever he wants and is genuine because he don’t AF, right or wrong, real man. Jordan needs acceptance from society, that’s female behavior.
I'm shocked, there is no way coach Chuck Daly wouldn't want Isiah on the Dream Team
It has been further clarified. When referring to Chuck, it was actually Charles Barkley.
I saw another video, where the Chuck they were talking about was Barkley
Some people are saying Barkley and some are saying Daley
I dont know anymore but I know that Coach lived Isiah so he woulda e wanted him on the team
ESPN won’t say it but Isiah’s team dominated Jordan’s
