2005 Honda Odyssey with the sliding door I’m having a problem with one child on the passenger side do you know anything about it
Nokia was the best. Those phones took the best pictures and were bullet proof.
I am doing everything i can to stay on top of my vehicle maintenance so I don’t get forced to buy something new before I have to.
I don't care what gas prices do. I'm still never buying an EV.
Hopefully u live somewhere where there’s no winter.
Hooray
@@DeruginizCLSwtf? He said he's never buying an EV.
Me neither.
Wow so edgy
For perspective, imagine your Honda CR-V was limited by regulation to a 10 gallon tank that takes you an hour to fill to no more than 8 gallons, except in an emergency.
An, there are only 3 gas stations you can use within 150 miles.
If you run out of gas you have to have it flat bedded home or to one of those stations.
How much would you pay for that Honda CR-V?
Let the early adopters change the world. I’ll get one when it’s better than gas
10 bucks
It’s been going up here in Illinois. $.60 in less than a month. It’s $3.89 here
Wait til July 1st
Not in the north, ground clearance in the main factor. When the snow lifts your vehicle in the air it does not matter what tires you have.
Here in Liberal IL, it's $3.59 today..
That sounds so progressive! I love starving.
Here in Sacramento, cheap gas jumped from $3.95 to $4.15 in the last week.
Live 1 hr from sac & gas prices jumped 18 cents here
Prices went from 2.00 per gallon in Northern Colorado to 2.69 suddenly, even at the discount stations! That is a huge jump.
$3.70 in PA
$3.09 last Sunday morning …. came by same station 6 hrs later now $3.39. Central FL.
Raise your hand if Scotty Kilmer just shocked the entire car industry 🖐️
Gas here in south central Nebraska had gone down to $2.60 per gallon. Today, February 28, was at $3.20
Scotty is a month late. Lowest prices were January in Arizona.
That's to cheap here in California it's still expensive its just drop 1 dollar 4 dollar something per gallon.
Somebody must have tipped off the oil companies that Scotty was about to release this video. 😁
It's back to almost 5 in Seattle
I feel your pain here in Illinois.
Last night’s gas price $2.78...this morning’s price $3.10. Quite a jump overnight.
We've been at $3.70 in Pittsburgh PA for the past month.
@@leechburglights3.30-3.80 in somerset county
@@leechburglightsI don't know if I should thumbs up or thumbs down
$3.10 is heaven. It’s usually over $5 here in California

Hi Scotty! You're a boss. Hope you know that. Helping millions everyday!
"Due to theee... volatility of mosquitoe netting in Malaysia." I can't 🤣🤣🤣
$34 of gas has lasted me almost 2 months in my Manual Focus. NO BIGGEE!
You must not drive much
I too get about 40mpg+/- (Fiesta 5sp). $29.40 of gasoline gets me 400 miles. I average 10 miles a day unless I take a trip. 40 days.
My dads focus got 40 mpg one time on a road trip.
He averaged 35-38 MPG.
They WERE pretty reliable machines back in the day. He put 300k miles on it before he got rid of it. He had an 08 SES.
I wouldnt buy a new one personally. Ford makes junk nowadays, from a lifelong ford enthusiast.
@@Joe-Mamasixtyninefourtwenty well they don't exist in showrooms anymore. Truck or Mustang is your Ford option since 2019.
@@Joe-Mamasixtyninefourtwenty 08 Focus is basically almost the last gen Fiesta. I parked next to one...very similar in size and shape. Slightly wider. Last gen Focus was trying to be a sport sedan knockoff like the BMW325
I use four Blizzak tires on my 4wd in the winter. The difference is amazing.
I agree! On my videos, I show my Maverick AWD climbing the snowy streets of Park City no problem with my set of Blizzaks. They really dig in.
Went to Gainesville for the NHRA drag races a few years ago and the first 2 days of the event it rained biblically. That Saturday, they parked us in the upper parking lot and it was a giant sponge. We were in a 97 Chrysler Sebring Convertible and never got stuck, but at the end of the day, it took hours to get out of the parking lot because of the occasional 4-wheel drive pickup truck that did get stuck because the people driving them were just mashing the throttle and digging themselves into the mud. It only takes one.
In Canada, I bought gas today at $5.25/ gal CDN. If you do the exchange that is 3.87 US per gallon.
That's cheaper than California, it's over $5.00 per gallon
Thanks again Trudy!
Still over $7.00 per gallon over here in Germany. ( Just because they sell it by the liter, it doesn't mean that it costs less. LOL! )
If we buy gasoline on the military base or use our AAFES card, we pay about $1.07 per liter or $4.10 per gallon.
Here in the UK atm it's about £5.60 a gallon at BP but supermarkets are like slightly lower.
What’s an AAFES card? Is it equivalent to an EBT?
@themachine8009 -- Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). We get the "on base" discounted fuel price with it at the PX gas station OR German Esso stations off post.
We pre-load it (it's a debit card) and it automatically gives us a discount at the point of purchase. We can buy up to 400 liters each month with it.
They only work in Germany and it is part of the Status Of Forces Agreement between the USA & Germany.
Same in Canada. We’re paying $1.80 a litre here Canadian. That’s what about 210 a litre US? That’s like nine dollars a gallon Canadian or more
@@tomster7574 -- I thought that a Candian Dollar was worth less than a US Dollar. The Euro is worth about $1.06 right now. My wife and I drove through Canada in 2019, but I don't remember how much the gasoline cost back then.
They need to go back to the old signs that used painted metal plates so the gas attendant had to change prices manually. It's too easy now, so they can do "surge" pricing for when people are going to work, lunchtime, and going home.
I thought the Range on Electric cars wasn't very Good in Cold weather?
It’s not. Believe me . I’m in Canada. 🇨🇦 they suck.
Northern Michigan here, they are absolutely horrible in the cold.
@@grominwithrob1339imagine being up in Houghton or calumet trying to drive an ev in winter
Gas just jumped .45 cents in Chicago in less than 4 hrs yesterday 3.39 to 3.89 for 87 octane.
Gas prices always go up like a rocket and goes down like a feather!
Same as house prices and property taxes.
Ain't that the truth!
3.15 per gallon in upstate NY and I don't see it going down anytime soon
I'd be afraid to buy an EV and put it in my garage. Fire hazard.
I still use a cheap Xiaomi phone from 2016, painted metal body. It has a dent on the corner from where I dropped it on tile. Why do I use it and I even have a NIB spare? It's 16:9 the format that virtually everything still comes in. One of the secrets of phone life is stop updates if you can. If it worked, it will still work...unless and update screws it up.
Not here on the West Coast! We hover around 3.8 dollars per Gallon! 2.40?! Envious!!!
In Ontario Canada it's $1.35 per liter, and the TRUDEAU CARBON TAX is going up again on April fools day!!!!
Gas prices are sure not going down in Florida $3.39 here now
Whenever there is morning dew at the Whiting Refinery, then gas goes up 30 cents
I've seen between 3.09 to 3.60 here In Arizona
Scotty, tires don't matter if you get high centered.
Winter gas is cheaper than summer gas, and it seems to me this is about the time they need to get rid of the winter blend. I just don't get why gas swings more than .20 overnight.
Because the ones pricing it can do it.
Winter gas is less energy dense and more volatile. I don't know if it's a relic from the carbureted era or cars still need it to startup in the cold.
I'm in Southwest Florida. Yesterday, 28 Feb, regular Un-Leaded gas was $3.21 per gallon.
£5.60 a gallon here in the UK
Lithium ion batteries degrade too quickly. Cold weather performance is horrible
3.70 in Pittsburgh again today !
yeah, miss the 2020 prices that were $2.59 :(
Thank you so much .
I thought this video was from last year. Gas prices are going thru the roof. Now up to $3.50 for Regular in OH.
Gas prices where I live in Sebastian Florida have risen to $3.41/gallon. They were down around $3.11 a month or two back.
2.61 in Gulfport, Mississippi, USA . . . 29 FEB 24.
Gas is still $5.79 in Chicago. I knew it wouldn't last. Thanks Brandon. And yes he's directly responsible.
You are truly intelligent
Shut down drilling, shutting down production, prices go up. When you have an administration who purposely does that, the public suffers. That's why a certain candidate said, "Drill baby drill."
LOL
Did you know we are drilling more gas than ever before? Oil companies are sending more overseas than they use in America. Then they purchase from overseas to sell here. Exon made more money last year than ever before. BTW... Dems had a bill to control price gouging. Repubs vited it down.
That's untrue, oil companies aren't owned or operated by the government or any administration, this isn't Venezuela. @@oreally8605
Gas prices on the Oregon coast are still around $4 a gallon so 🤷🏼♂️
Buying huge tracks of land , they can take it out of production making food ,lumber , minerals etc controlling the prices or removing strategic mineral /oil putting us at risk .
Here in the UK atm it's about £5.60 a gallon at BP but supermarkets are like slightly lower.
UK is basically equivalent to California. Many regulations, special charter monopoly refineries (no external competition), lots of taxes.
Those guys bought timberland because it's a good money laundry. They launder a bunch of money by saying they sold wood, and who's gonna trek out into BFE Oregon to check? Nobody's gonna do that, and they know it.
You're so spot on Scotty! 😄
Gas price today in PA is $3.69, just went up 30 cents 2 weeks ago. We were told refineries aretn't making as much gasoline because they are switching over to summer blends.
Here in Missoula Mt is was under 3 but now it's over 3 now
I really enjoy listening to Scotty talking about electric cars😂
Keep up the great work scotty any fuel saving tips for my Hyundai i20 1.2 L be great it's a great car 😊😊😊
Thanks Scotty always a pleasure.
Well gas in NYC just went up from several weeks ago
Sometimes drivers lose traction in snow or ice then they start spinning the tires trying to get going. The spinning wheel(s) melt the snow/ice underneath that very quickly refreezes into ice, now you’re not going anywhere. Best to back up, if possible, and take another run at it using a light foot on the throttle or traction control…avoid spinning the wheels.
Gasoline is $6.12 a gallon here where I live in New Brunswick, Canada, Where Irving have their oil refinery in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The same Irving family Scotty mentioned in this video. We also pay a stupid carbon tax on our gasoline implemented by our Federal government. If I were paying half of what Americans are paying for a gallon of gasoline, we in Canada would think $ 3.00 dollar per gallon gasoline was a deal!
I had no idea there was a refinery in Canada. I'm surprised there's none jn Alberta. I'm from Onterrible. Currently $1.51/L which is about $4.50USD/Gallon
Cyber trucks have poor visability in the driver side "A" piller, just like the leaf I drive. It's dangerous. I'm looking for a replacement.
Local price for unleaded was 3.499 yesterday. It was 3.899 today.
Jumped up .11 overnight here in northeast Georgia
Just bought gas tonight at 5.19 a gallon. Of course, lovely California
It’s 3.29 here in central Virginia
Both vehicles are hybrid here so when you get 45 mpg - 55 mpg, gas prices become no big deal!
it's called "The Soft Shoe Shuffle" they bump it up n down so you end up Dizzy as $#@! . and confused where the price was.
Love your videos Scotty, but I have no gas price problems. I drive a 40 mpg Honda Fit. Price increases hurt but not so much.
Hes right about charging over 80%. Picture a huge empty parking lot. You can fill it up with cars real fast. When the parking lot gets to 80% cars have to start driving around looking for spots. Thats the same with electrons. They need to start looking for storage places.
That’s exactly how Elon explained it.
price just went up about 10 cents here in Oregon hoping it drops soon lol
update its 10 cents higher now 3.79 it was 3.59 less than 2 weeks ago
It's been going up here and we're below the national average currently $3.25 a gallon.
Roughly $10 a gallon here in the UK no wonder you drive big autos and we drive small ones
UK is £5.60 a gallon at BP but supermarkets are like slightly lower.
I am a google pixel fan too. Unfortunately I dropped mine in a flimsy case and just recently had to buy a new one. I wish this video came out two weeks ago, I would still have my old pixel phone. Don't want to make the same mistake when I buy a car that is why I always watch your videos.
Get well soon, Scotty!
The only things worth having electric would be moped or Vespa style bikes, electric bicycles, and electric scooters. That's about it. Everything else is just too heavy for the roadways we currently have, and too inefficient. I don't think anyone in Congress has thought through this push for EVs. Besides the power grid being old, we will have cars, trucks and big rigs that will weigh almost twice what they weigh right now. Like idiots, we put most of our sewer systems right under the streets. We already have issues in the North with softer land than warmer areas of the country. Along with the drastic changes in temperature, and the current weight of big rigs, they cause the roads to sink where the tires roll. The result is warped asphalt. Over a period of three years, the roads have to be redone to even out the surface due to this. We already can't keep up with potholes and road repairs in most states. Imagine what it will be like if we have every vehicle weighing 2x the current weight of the same vehicles, just ev versions. It will be an absolute disaster. Then we have to think of the bridges and their weight limits. Many bridges may have to have some sort of gateway system in order to use them, especially small bridges, to ensure that they don't collapse. Larger bridges may have to cut the amount of traffic crossing at one time in half, which will result in longer commutes and traffic jams. These things have been brushed off. The roadways and what's under them were not engineered to withstand extreme amounts of weight outside of the current standards. If we doubled the weight on those roadways, even over time, we will be setting ourselves up for many disasters and tragedies.
Northeast Washington State 3/5/2024 Gas is $4.00 gallon and seems to be going up slowly.
If that iPhone happened to be in an OtterBox Defender, AND it happened to also be in the included belt-clip holster, it probably survived mostly because of that. The belt clip might crack, but imagine the amount of energy that absorbs, and you can buy a replacement belt clip for less than $10 online. It sacrifices itself to save the rest of the case, and of course the phone.
In the US you can "own" land, but if you don't pay for it every year, you can lose it. if some one can take "your" land, do you really own it?
Currently gas prices in Alberta are about $6.20 gallon. $1.38 per litre
1.38 canadian per liter would be 5.60 a gallon and converted to USD would be about $4.10.
My dad worked for a company from the 1980’s into the 1990’s before he passed that was a real estate firm. The way it worked was people from all over the world bought up shopping malls and other retail spaces, and the firm my dad worked for was paid to maintain and keep the spaces leased. Well, we all know where the shopping malls have gone! But it was like Scotty points out, they felt their money was safer here in the United States
3.39 in panhandle FL
Your lucky in the UK according to my reckoning it’s $6.60 over here but the UK gallon is bigger

In Orlando the price has been going up about 10 since a week for the last month and there's somewhere around 3:30 a gallon now
Not in Illinois it isn’t, it’s 3.89 here.
FYI - Oil statistically goes up March through April...
In Maryland gas prices have only gone up. Cheapest price for 93 was $4.39 But gas is all I'll buy. No EV

Just over £2 a gallon! Here in the UK it's around £6.50 per gallon! 😢
