I purchased a 2004 mazda 6 with 96k miles on the dash, ive had it for a year so far and the only light thats come on is my break light for break fluid. Car is extremely reliable and fun. Plus parts/labor for my car are cheap to, for a first car this gets the job done!

By the way the car In this video is still running with 400k kilometers done 👍

I own a 2004 Mazda 6 v6 3.0L and have had it since new. It's been pretty reliable, but only has around 96k miles. If anyone is thinking of buying one of these used, they do require a lot of maintenance. Between 2017 thru 2020 I've spent just at $4k to keep it in good running condition, not including oil changes. Yesterday, I bought a set of 4 new tires for $428 and next week I'll spend another $650 to replace the water pump because its starting to leak. If one knows how to work on older cars they will save a lot of money. I estimate my average maintenance cost is $100 a month. MPG is listed at 17/24 on the sticker. I hope that helps anyone whose looking to buy one of these.

Thanks for sharing the info, also do remember the most vital part is definitely how you maintain from the get go

Hi Mark, I also own a own a 2004 Mazda 6 v6 3.0L. Mine has 185K+ miles now. I've done most of the work maintenance to it myself (routine oil changes, spark plug/ignition coils, and valve cover gaskets etc.), including the water pump ( BTW, I do think 650 for it is a bit much). The car still drives great , but mine has what I suspect is a timing chain cover oil gasket leak. Going to keep it going as long as I can to avoid buying a new daily driver car.

I think I'm going to get a Mazda 6 in 2020 as my next car. I think it would be a nice slight upgrade from a shitty old corolla from the 90s lol. Looks like a sturdy car. Do they need alot of work or is there issues alot? That is 1 thing about my toyota corolla.. it pretty much just always worked. I do love that about it, but man, that old thing is falling apart inside, i need something that's atleast from the year 2000 hehe.
Good video, and good taste in music. Thanks man.

Thank you so much bro... Look man I will be honest I can't say Mazda is better the Toyota... It's just not and it will never be it might be better in looks I give you that much but Toyota it is without a question the most reliable car ever made.. However Mazda is better that alooooot of cars I still have it by the way and using as beater and still working fine just a coolent leak and I fixed it for like 20 us dollars :)

I have a 04 Mazda 6 hatch luxury and it's like this but better. Only cosmetic damage to paint, alloys and leather seating. Besides that it's in good shape and is a great car. Seems Mazda build these to last.

I have a question, im tryna buy a mazda6 as my first real real car and idk if i should get a benzin or diesel or 1.8 2.0 or automatic or manual 6gear,cause the automatic is only 4 speed and im kinda suspisios of that

    • @AhmedSadekthesalesman
      @AhmedSadekthesalesman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

honestly it all comes down to preference and what you going to use the car for, my advise would be to try getting it on rent to have a short experience of the drive which really helps to come to a decision

The Ford Mondeo's cousin 😂. But better 😎 bought my Mazda 6 gg back end of December as we can't drive diesels in London due to emissions. Have to say I'm well impressed, credit to the owner for having the car serviced at Mazda for 10 years, receipts are digital, the trader didn't even know, or the price would've been more. As UK roads destroy cars with the salt, my alloys are all corroded and currently being refurbished, not even acid dipped as they'd dissolve, but instead sand blasted. Milage is on 72,700 miles. Previous owner hardly drove it since it came off the forecourt. 😮 The driving position os spot on, steering is quick and direct, the rack is from the Mx5, gearbox is sublime, you just want to downshift, Handling the 6 has so much grip and loves twisty roads. Definitely has the DNA of a sports car. 😎

Find one in a good condition first if you get one it will last for life time by the way I still have this Mazda till today driven over 370k kilometers and still works like a charm ac ice cold running smooth... So it will last with you as long as u r taking normal care of it.. And if you have any questions regarding this model don't hesitate to ask me

I'm buying my gfs sisters mazda 6, and she's selling it for $800. There is minor body damage and the cam lash needs to be set, otherwise it runs and its reliable so I think im getting a good deal. Its an upgrade from my 98 Nissan sentra which is beat to shit. My car is so ghetto, so im happy with getting her car

Honestly I never had any cooling related issues with mine but any way Don't buy a used one get a new one online and if u faced an issue like here steps to make sure it will never happen again
1 make a complete coolant flush
      2 replace thermostats
3 check for any weak or leaking hoes
4 replace the reditor and add coolant

Replace the Input Sensor so it shifts smoothly & get 1 quart of Amsoil high mileage transmission oil & get it changed at a shop adding it to their blend. I did this with my 2005 i sport recently & I hand lubed all the bushings.
