    I would love to see a video using the Canon EF to RF speed booster on the R7 using some wide angle primes and zooms. I know the adapter is meant for the C70, but I imagine it will be useable on the R7.

    I’ve got both R6 and R7 and I’m sorry to say - I find your videos really biased. You don’t grade footage to match. I find your R6 color really dull - look at the red shirt… I’m sure one can do better. Both are great cameras, but for me R6 is really the beast.

    • @markshirley01

      The R6 was a top choice for me until I found out how it switches from photo to video, because I do a lot of hybrid work I think the R7 would work faster for me.

    • @JaredHoyman
      @JaredHoyman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I do appreciate the feedback. I don't disagree with you. To be more fair to color I feel I should have picked a color profile and not log. As a novice color grader I would say the R7 does grade easier for me. Using the same grade in clog3 unfortunately doesn't get the same results. Although the test is more around focal length and bokeh I will do my best to match color for future comparison video. Thanks for the feedback.

    in your opinion which has been better since you have used it more. Is the r7 or r6 better for video and which is better for photography?

    • @JaredHoyman
      @JaredHoyman  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a good question. The R7 is better and more reliable for video than the R6, so if you are more video focused I would go to the R7. If you are more photo focused and do a little video and do not need long recording times, then the R6 is great. Full frame sensors give a great look, but you would be hard pressed to spot the difference with a crop sensor like the R7. They both have their pros and cons and that is why I will keep both of them. I use the R6 on all my real estate photo shoots and I use the R7 mostly for my youtube vids and business vids. I hope that answer helped a little ;)
