EA Sport College Football 25 P4 Conference Tier Rankings | Big 10 | SEC | Big 12 | ACC | Realignment

Using the EA Sports tier rankings of each school for College Football 25, we calculate the weighted average of each P4 conference and discuss what that says about them. We also use the tier rankings to calculate how each of the power conferences would've ranked prior to the last couple waves of realignment. Did each conference get better or worse? Did the MWC deserve to be a power conference?

I root for Ohio State so I'm glad that they're Tier 1, row 1. I am kind of surprised that Oklahoma State (Okie State) is also Tier 1. I was wondering what all of the commotion on social media was about OSU. Then I realized that they were talking about Okalhoma State.

Fsu is obviously tier 1! Undefeated for one. More draft picks than most those schools above them! Also they beat LSU two years straight and Clemson last year.

@@joshmartonosi5624 I don't know how it comes into play in the game. It's just based on final rankings of each season over the last 10 years. Not the most robust metric, but it is telling.

@@SurferRC No doubt FSU got hosed last year, but this is a composite of final rankings over a 10 year period. And we all know FSU has not lived up to its reputation in all of those seasons.

MWC with the Pac2 (2x4 = 8), (3x4 = 12), (4x6 = 24); (44/14 = 3.14). The MWC is clearly better than any other G5 conference, but we have too many in tier 4 to warrant a power status; at least according to this graphic. We get a bit of a bump from OSU and WSU but they aren't the cream of the crop with both being in tier 3.
Some of the things that surprised me with this, the Ragin' Cajuns in tier 2, good for them! San Jose in tier 3, ok we'll take it, would have thought they would have been lower. Wyoming in tier 4, would have thought they would be higher.

Great points. I thought about doing the G5 conferences too, but it already took me too long just to do the P4. With all the realignment, the MWC should easily be the top G5 conference.
