These guys gave their all to the race; the more determined athlete won at the end. Noah was behind but picked up speed from the 50 meters mark to nick it on the line from the less experienced Thompson. Noah, like ShaCarri, leaves the starting block late and always have to work harder and accelerate faster than their competitors. It works sometimes and fails at other times, as in the case of ShaCarri Richardson.

Kishan was too tense at the finish & his strides were shortening while Noah was relaxed and fluid.

For those who are saying jamica is champion is technically incorrect because the machine measurement starts from torso / chest & end at leg due to which jamican player leg stepped first but he didn't lean forward his chest/torso like US player did first and won.

Who had the advantage at the beginning doesn't matter - the winner is who finishes the race first, not who is winning half way through. Look at Bolt's world record - leaning at the finish in Berlin. Its what you're supposed to do. You are an idiot.

When you put yourself at the Start line you lean forward so that your torso is above the line. That's why the torso should be over the Finish line and not other parts of your body. Period.

I think they should have both been given gold. Everyone has their tactics to running, some start fast and end slow, some the opposite, and some consistent all through. But its still the same finish line. We've seen the second and third here.
