Im both a realtor and Interior decorator, I always advise those who feel modular homes are over price to take a copy of the same exact plans to a contractor to get a estimate on how much it would cost to build a home with that square footage and those features. Yes it’s true all depreciate like a auto mobile as soon as it leaves the lot however, I personally know individuals who still live happily in their modular homes that were built in the early 80s and like with houses as long as you keep up the maintenance it will last a lifetime. That being quoted now onto the next topic... I’m so glad to see that double wides are being built and designed more like houses. I love every room in this one Including the hallway, beams on the ceiling. however what should have been mentioned in this video is that the fireplace can either be electrical, natural gas or propane. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rated ! Congratulations and blessings to whoever purchases this modular house and makes it their home. 👍🏼 From Mississippi !!! 🙌🏼
As for qualifications if one should ask, my Father along with many family members and myself are Carpenters and electricians who has built houses before. I have witnessed in the state of Mississippi where tornadoes have ripped through Mobile home parks and destroyed all exempt double wide modular homes.
Well if you put a modular home on a foundation like you have to they are treated just like a house. They do not lose value.for being a realtor you should know this.
Roy Kloepfer - I guess it’s different in Mississippi HA’ because a modular home is still considered a mobile home regardless because it’s a removable home and not built as strong as a house I know this because we have had to deal with inspections that are required by the state insurance commissioner when we go to do a appraisal now mind you not Sir I’m trying to discourage one from buying I’m just simply stating the facts like for one I live in my 2nd mobile home and I like it, I have family & friends who are Concerned about me whenever bad weather is coming yet I chose to stay and made it through. Yes’ I would love to purchase a doublewide because they are extremely nice and it’s quicker to move in as you yourself would probably agree ! My friend had at one time lived in her parents double wide and with upkeep like a house above the ground still today that 1970 model is still standing like a any other home is. I have two that are in the process of being rented 1971 and 1988 both in good condition. By no means was I trying to discourage a individual from buying one at all sir !
@@wfmsylvest4741 well you do realize there is one hell of a difference between a modular and just a double-wide modular has to be put onto a foundation once it's placed it never moves again. Where's a mobile home you can pick it up and move it in time. But I guess you're right they're probably not built is good cuz I noticed the ones down south any of the manufactured homes I've ever seen that look real cheap and flemsy. But the ones we have up north here they look like real houses are built like real houses they're high-quality ain't that flimsy stuff I've seen on the manufactured homes that come from down south.
I have to say that I totally enjoy watching you show these homes. No fuss straight forward, wish you were in the Pacific Northwest would totally buy from you.
Beautiful home. Thank you. I watch a lot of these videos and one thing I noticed is that the only time I got to see inside the fridge and pantry is when a woman showed it. Coincidence? Perhaps...😂😂😂
This is a beautiful home, but I wished the master had a soaker tub. I don't want to choose between one or the other, I would like to have both in my master suite. Another thing I would like all hardwood in the common living areas, carpeting in the bedrooms are fine.....
I thought you already had show the den, with the fireplace, that other room is the living room, I like that house, but the only thing I would have reverse is have my kitchen and dining room and den on the back, and my laundry room to, so people can come through the laundry room and then the den
Happy to hear that the house has sheetrock. You said the closet didn't have sheetrock, but do y'all have to put that ugly stripe material in all your closets?
How can a monthly payment be calculated when everyone's situation is different? Some people will have a higher payment based on their loan rate. Some people will be in a 15 year mortgage, while others will have a 30 year mortgage. A payment amount should not be given for this reason.
I know this video is a bit old but I still love this house very very much!!! I know from experience that New Orleans has some pretty ridiculous requirements....20ft from the curb, 20 ft back yard, so many feet if there’s a driveway, just nuts! Would you happen to know if this home would be able to be built on a lot that’s 50X100? That’s the size of a lot we own and went through hell and high water to have a modular home from a different seller built on the lot next door. We built that with the intension to sell. Because of that...the fiancé is seriously considering saying eff’ it and selling the undeveloped lot, just to avoid the hell we’ve gone through with this 1st home. If that lot size isn’t large enough to fit this size home...do you know what size lot we’ll need? Thank you!
That master bath is so dark, no windows, no bath and a closet in the bathroom so you can walk around smelling musty - with the sliding doors you can have even more moisture in your clothes.
Bobby, I wish you didn't hurry through your videos and make us dizzy. You rush through all your videos. I like watching Don Provost's videos. He spends more time showing things.
I was expecting bigger closets & bedrooms especially in the master. Maybe this should of been 36x 80 instead of 32x80. Don't like the layout of the dining room, feels small.

Wow! This place looks pretty huge!!
This is a beautiful home, but I wished the master had a soaker tub. I don't want to choose between one or the other, I would like to have both in my master suite. Another thing I would like all hardwood in the common living areas, carpeting in the bedrooms are fine.....
they're getting more elaborate so pretty
Can you replace the barn doors with French glass doors instead?
I thought you already had show the den, with the fireplace, that other room is the living room,
I like that house, but the only thing I would have reverse is have my kitchen and dining room and den on the back, and my laundry room to, so people can come through the laundry room and then the den
