So the sentinels were programmed to kill robots. The red one thought Tessa was a robot but when it saw blood, it errored because they’re not meant to hurt humans and knocked itself out

      i think it is more.
she gave it a command to "be a good dingo" (which it ignored since it could not identify her as human)
it bit her - realized she was a human (has to obey humans so now its screen read as BE A GOOD DINGO)
she called it a "bad dingo" (instantly failed its mission, but it has two missions)
and it shut down due to conflicts in its commands. but then got back up now with errors.

The sentinels weren't created by Alice (the insane/serial killer drone with antlers), they were created by the Humans to destroy rogue drones, as Tessa said in the start of the episode "Right, might be some security... specifically against you guys [Uzi, N & V]". Alice can only corral them by using the door controls, which is why one killed her.

I see a lot of people explaining the Sentinels so I'll add context. This is a Worker Drone Disassembly Plant, where Workers are properly decommissioned (if they aren't they have a non-zero percent chance of rebooting without their OS like Cyn).
Since Cyn is a Zombie Drone and clearly gone rogue, modifying herself and the Disassembly Drones and apparently annihilating Earth.
The humans on Copper 9 converted an area to experiment with either other Zombie Drones or Workers infected with Cyn's rampant AbsoluteSolver. Uzi's and Doll's moms worked at this plant before becoming infected.
So the Sentinels are to prevent Workers from getting in (they won't like knowing their brethren are being shutdown) and preventing any infected drones, be they like Uzi or Disassembly Drones, from getting out.

I considered this all being a weird simulation or Cyn being a drone that discovered some reality warping computer command (Something like the anti-life/death equations in DC) but now I think I'm firmly in the Lovecraftian god camp. It makes the most sense. Eldritch lore is full of the "abyss gazes back" trope where observing something otherworldly gives it power over you. Like that Lovecraft story where people who see an otherworldly color go insane. This is like that but instead of a color it's this specific piece of code. Also while the Absolute Solver sounds like the name of a program, The Solver of the Absolute Fabric feels like the title of an Eldritch God.
So anyway here's the timeline for what I think happened before this show started. A lot of this is either obvious or pure guesswork to be honest.
    1. Humans invent drones and start using them for menial tasks. Some large companies also use them to do most of the work on foreign planets.
    2. Incompletely disassembled drones occasionally start to reboot as murder drones. Potentially being accessed by some Eldritch entity that can't interact with our world normally. These machines become their way in...
    3. Rich human girl Tessa starts finding broken drones and fixing them. Partially to use them as servants, but mostly because she has no friends.
    4. The original versions of J, V, and N are all found and fixed up by Tessa. J's already abrasive and uses corporate lingo so she probably belonged to a company (likely JC Jensen) before being thrown out and found by Tessa.
    5. Tessa introduces a 4th fixed up drone (Cyn), not realizing it was one of the so called zombie drones. Cyn becomes something on a level above the normal zombie drones. Potentially the main host for this hypothetical Eldritch being.
    6. Cyn talks back to Tessa's parents and the original N takes the fall for her. He potentially dies but Cyn is able to either fix him or make a copy. The difference is existential and should probably be ignored for sanity sake.
    7. Cyn kills Tessa's parents and their guests, leaving only Tessa alive. Perhaps proving that some part of her is/was capable of sentimentality. Or perhaps that part of her merely wanted Tessa to live longer and witness what Cyn would do and become. It's also possible that Tessa has been subverted in some way and is already doing Cyn's bidding.
    8. Speaking of, Cyn either rebuilds, upgrades, or clones J, V, and N into murder drones to do her bidding
    9. Cyn destroys the earth but not before letting the humans there send information about what happened to the colonized planets. Including the Copper System where this is likely set.
    10. Humans on this planet start experimenting on drones, trying to understand what was corrupting them. They built this facility and potentially more like it to do so. The security including those sentinel raptors is meant to keep the corrupted drones under control. This does not work.
    11. Cyn probably manages to wipe out human life on this planet too. Though it's possible the humans here really did just blow themselves up like they said in the first episode. Would make a good joke.
    12. Cyn decides to send her murder drones to deal with the worker drones and whatever's in this building. Since Doll is also here it's possible that the humans succeeded in making a cure for the corruption. Something Doll would want and Cyn would want destroyed.
    13. Uzi's mom Nora and some others escape and warn everyone about the Murder Drones
14: Murder drones arrive and start killing all worker drones but might go out of their way to target survivors of this and other facilities if possible
    15. Main plot starts
Sidenote the previous episodes usually had a motif related to some specific horror movie or archetype of horror movies. This one took that to the next level by combining Deranged Serial Killer, Jurassic Park, and Bird Box.

This is a pretty good synopsis, save for one detail (which admittedly, we don't quite know the full truth behind yet).
The Solver supposedly used Nori to do a Gala on the facility and/or singularity it (according to Alice, she blew up a bunch of good people and left the rest for dead).
However according to Khan, Nori met him after the core collapse and warned him about the impending threat.
According to Solver J's holograms, Nori passed on her Solver abilities to Uzi, whether under control of the Solver or of her own volition (possibly as a failsafe to try and stop the Solver WITH the Solver).
My theory is that the Solver took over Nori to trigger the core collapse, then went dormant (like how it did when Uzi overrode the door controls), leaving her with the knowledge of 'Cyn's Orders', particularly the 'clear out all life around a spire'. Prolonged use of Solver abilities seems to 'rouse' the Solver entity, which can be mitigated via cannibalism. If Nori DID choose to give Uzi the Solver on her own accord, it's possible that this act woke the Solver entity enough to realize what she was doing 'It hurts our feelings that you don't remember us'.
I'm wondering now if this might have triggered a 'relapse' in Nori, and possibly try to commit 'suicide by cop' and allow herself to get infected by the Disassembly Drones 'nanite acid' so that she'd no longer be a threat with her reawakened Solver.

@@IronDino My big question is who originally sent the 3 murder drones, or rather, who had control over them.
It´s probably not a "corporation" as we were originally told, because Uzi says their memories were messed with. (Episode 2, I think.)
If it was Cyn, then what is Tessa doing with them now, acting all buddy-buddy. But in ep. 1, when N was regenerating after his head was blown off, there was a line of code, something like: "String "Absolute Solver" blocked by administrator Cyn". Why would Cyn, of all -people- drones want to block the solver in N? It does at least confirm Cyn did have some influence over N. This, plus the whole "wiping memories" from ep. 5. (Which I think means we can include V under Cyn´s influence, since they were both there..) Is Cyn trying to fight the solver as well? Is that the twist we´re going for?
Anyway, back to the original mission, our 3 murder drones had orders to kill infected/corrupted drones, that´s what J said when she tried to kill N with the virus in ep.1.
So were they actually sent by Tessa? But how did she get control of them back from Cyn? Or are these all backups, and they´re going to find/fight their evil, solver-controlled clones/(original versions)?
*(Or were these explained somewhere? Am I missing stuff?)

However, if N and V were cloned, or there were more 'Murder Drones' in them, why weren't they with Tessa and J?
There is also another problem. "WHEN" Were they cloned, and "HOW" Were they cloned. If it's an Auto Wireless Backup that backups from the Current Death, and no loss of Memory? Good, we got V back.
However, if it has to be a manual thing... The oldest copy would be from BEFORE they were sent to the planet originally, at which case it would be a V-2.0 who has no memories of anything on the planet.

    (002) is the title given to Nori (Uzi’s mother) as the second subject for the absolute solver. Cyn is (001) because she was the first ever solver drone.
The wendigo looking drone named Alice knew Nori from when they worked together when the humans were still alive on Copper 9.
When Nori had Uzi, the absolute solver imprinted itself into Uzi’s programing, also giving her the title of (002), since it was the same absolute solver.

I still believe in NV 🤞✌️🖤💛!! I hope that J can rescue V in time on the next episode somehow! Either that or N goes back to rescue V of whatever is left on her; and then he pops off against the robot raptors and other new hidden enemies around the underground labs and escape with everybody like safe and sound and whatnot! Also, imagine N or V turning into their monstrous eldritch tentacle forms if V gets torn apart from the robot raptors while N was too late to save her on time when he leaves the elevator after crash landing to the bottom floor like how J did in episode 2 of “Heartbeat” if possibly necessary somehow or something. In addition, I mostly feel and see platonic vibes with N and Uzi in a brotherly and sisterly way due to Cyn’s influence inside of her towards N at the mansion before he became a Murder Drone or something. Also, I think N and V make the most sense in a secret romantic aspect, especially when they were in the mansion at the episode 5 of “Home” since they’ve known each other more and been together from being Worker Drones to becoming Murder Drones at the time. I mean N was really freaking out for V on sacrificing herself for the team and whatnot whereas Uzi was just being “forced” into N’s environment from Cyn’s perspective for whatever odd reason whenever she uses her Absolute Solvent powers or whatever. Like theoretically, I assume that N was holding Uzi’s hand so that he can calm down Cyn’s presence and hold off Uzi on not to overuse her Absolute Solver powers in order to contain Cyn within her until they find a proper solution of ridding it out of her system or something. I’m not sure on anything about Doll’s situation lately so I’m not gonna pry too much into it until further notice and other stuff. Overall, I don’t know but I like N and Uzi being as good friends where I can see her as a hype girl for N of trying to get together with V if possibly necessary or something so just saying ok haha.

As a theorist, I’m ashamed that I’ve ignored Nori for so long, but at long last, here we go.
    It's kind of a 50/50 chance that she's alive.
Starting at the beginning, the absolute solver took Cyn as a host, and Cyn, being the first solver drone, was labeled as (001).
For a long while, there was only one solver drone, and it was Cyn, under the absolute solver's control.
But when she made her move on the humans and took Earth, the humans on Copper 9 looked into it, and spread the absolute solver's corruption.
Nori was the first worker drone who was infected, making her the second solver drone, (002).
In the picture of Nori, Yeva, and the human, Nori seems very calm and confident, and Yeva (048) was damaged and not confident at all. This makes me believe that the lower the number of the infected subject, the higher the control. (001) Cyn obviously having the most because she is the solver of the absolute fabric, (002) Nori having the most control only surpassed by the absolute solver itself.
When Cyn destroyed the Earth, the absolute solver sent its consciousness into the next strongest solver drone after itself, that being Nori.
The absolute solver as an entity instead of as Cyn then used a possessed Nori to cause the core collapse of Copper 9 and kill all of the humans. And she destroyed anything and anyone who tried to stop her, as stated in Alice's line, "You're a lot like her, I'll say. Except her yellow eyes." And "Nori right? She sure though imploding all them folks was pretty slick".
After destroying the exoplanets core, the solver entity left Nori and went back to Cyn, leaving Nori to live her life on a human free world.
She then met and married Kahn, and had Uzi. Uploaded traits from both parents into an untrained neural network, one of those traits being Nori's Absolute Solver, which I'm guessing forced itself into Uzi against Nori's wishes.
I'm guessing that Nori retained memories from the Solver entity and learned of "the coming sky demons", the Disassembly Drones sent by Cyn to finish off the rest of the planet's population.
Doesn't nanite acid seem a little too overpowered for only combatting worker drones though? I think that they were also sent to fight the Solver drones.
Mt guess here is that the nanite acid would corrode away at the solver drone's body, causing the absolute solver to actively repair them. That would then give the disassembly drones time to finish the solver drones off.
I think that Nori was hit by one of the murder drones needle tails (hopefully N's for the sake of plot), and Kahn used his wrench to "put her out of her misery when the Murder Drones got to her with their nanite acid".
Here is where my theories split onto branching paths.
Either, Nori died there and that's all there is too it, or the absolute solver was able to repair her damage mostly, causing her to overheat and transform into a corrupted solver drone (a fleshy murder drone) like Uzi did in episode 4, and go on a mindless rampage until Uzi will eventually find her

Or maybe JCJenson collected a sample somehow and sent it to Copper 9 via data stream.
I don’t think it was intended to be a trap, I think it was just natural human curiosity becoming their downfall.
Also, I don’t think that the absolute solver would have different goals, because as for as I can tell, the solver is one entity that merely manifests itself in the corrupted programming of improperly disassembled A.I.
It uses Cyn as its main body as the original host (001), but is still quick to switch to Nori/Uzi (002) when the situation benefits it.
