I'm 68. From Italy. I saw them in concert in Milano in the summer of 1982.
I think Bunnymen are the most underrated band in the entire rock history.
    Simply, I loved them..

it takes me back to the summer of 1984, a beautiful all-Italian summer for me, DD and Spandau, George Michael were going crazy on the radio, but in the evening I listened to a national channel that programmed New Wave/Alternative music before going out and partying with friends. From my compact Technics stereo I recorded the pieces I liked most and the Bunnymen were among the most programmed with their wonderful and melancholy "Ocean Rain".

@@antoniobruno5194 That's right antonio, where I'm from in the UK there was lots of pubs all packed out especially from friday to sunday, drinking, smoking and the music just like you said. A great time. The pubs would shut at 3 o'clock in the afternoon until 6 o'clock when it opened again, me and my mates would be standing outside our first pub at 5 to 6 waiting for it to open to get our first few beers down, put some music on the jukebox, play some pool, and you could smoke aswell, then off to the next pub.
Now 2 thirds of those pubs have gone now.
I feel sorry for the younger generation, especially at the weekend, they only have a small amount of pubs and it's just not the same atmosphere. I loved the '80s, bring it back lol. 👍🍺🍻🚬🎵🎶

    With your favorite finger
    Paint the whole world blue
And stop your tears from stinging
    Hear the cavemen singing
    Good news they're bringing
    Seven seas
    Swimming them so well
    Glad to see
    My face among them
    Kissing the tortoise shell
    A longing for
    Some fresher feeling
    Belonging
    Or just forever kneeling
Where is the sense in stealing
Without the grace to be it
    Seven seas
    Swimming them so well
    Glad to see
    My face among them
    Kissing the tortoise shell
    Burning my bridges
    And smashing my mirrors
Turning to see if you're cowardly
Burning the witches with mother religious
You'll strike the matches and shower me
    In water games
    Washing the rocks below
    Taught and tamed
    In time with tear flow
    Seven seas
    Swimming them so well
    Glad to see
    My face among them
    Kissing the tortoise shell
    Seven seas
    Swimming them so well
    Glad to see
    My face among them
    Kissing the tortoise
    Seven seas
    Swimming them so well
    Glad to see
    My face among them
    Kissing the tortoise shell
