there are different types of type c port for different function. these you have are normal type c for basic high data transfer etc. but some intel laptop have thunderbolt port. which even allow u to connect external GPU to your laptop. and in this video this is an amd laptop so no thunderbolt exist.
you are correct. everyone please read this comment as this is the correct one. and one you should go by. intel computers have thunderbolt which allow charging and dock state and charge at the same time aswell as external gpu
