Haha! Shows how different our ears are I learnt this by ear and coz my e kit toms don’t sound quite right I was using a double bass for the toms thinking that was right

Off topic the tom fill played on Flash gordon at the beginning of there space flight is pretty tight from Queen the love theme space capsule opening.
Love it! Using toms, not just for fills, IMHO opens up new possibilities. I know this is a totally different song, but Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush, I think is a great example of the power of tom grooves. Not to mention, Ringos iconic" Come Together", which has alot of tom focus.
