2017 Audi TTS (Manual) - Initial Thoughts and Drive!

In this video I share my initial impressions of the Audi TTS and I've included some silent driving clips. Overall I like the car but it definitely doesn't feel as quick as my car - S Tronic is the way forward!

The media control button is there for the passenger to use, think of having a stubborn fun girlfriend or a sister to a brother or a buddy controlling the song without using the steering wheel, it makes perfect sense and seriously I wouldn't want anyone touching the MMI touch control at all, just fucking use the media control button, and I love the manual transmission, helps me keep focus.
I still don't get why people are so spilt 50/50 on this video.
He just gave his personal opinion and I don't think you should dislike someone because they don't like manuals.
I test drove stronic and manual, honestly I liked both. In the end I brought a manual, I’ve always had manual and enjoy the gear changing, in the end I just found the best car with most extras on it and happened to be a manual, but I would have happily had an stronic. I like it though, the gear change takes some getting used to with the amount of power, I just had a TT before, stronic definitely smooths our the acceleration, I think it does come down to personal preference though.
Other comments won't load so may have been said before, the secondary volume/track change button is for the passenger to use.
FYI, you can get the farty sound in a manual TTS! 😉 Mine crackles and pops like the big boys. And, I chose the TTS over the S3 because I prefer the interior.
Always go for a manual more driver focused feel like your driving probably.......😊

Had a 2014 3dr S3 Auto for around 15 months. Thought it was great, but changed for a Mk3 TTS which I have now had for nearly 2 1/2 years.
Love it, but it is also an stronic and It is faster and sounds better than the S3
Thanks for watching. The TTS was an interesting car to drive. I'm not sure it felt faster than my S3 but that's because the TTS was manual. I will say they look better than S3s!

This is one of the only reviews with relevant info into about what it feels like to DRIVE the car compared to other cars. So many reviewers just spew specs, push buttons, and say stuff like "oh you can get into trouble easy with this car". Plus, how can you not like the video when he starts off the vid saying "I am NOT trying to look like Shmee." lol
You should go back to the other videos. This is horrible!!!!

Take your hand off the bloody gear knob and keep both on the wheel unless changing gear (please).

I would prefer a Focus RS or Fiesta ST over a manual TTS. The rest, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Hilarious video. Like the Alan Partridge of vloggers. But shit. I love the story about the deer. Poor bambi. Anyway, he gives nothing away about the manual box, just that he doesn't like it, and it sounds like a diesel in 1st and 2nd. Was it crisp, short throw, intuitive, etc. One of my life rules is never trust anyone who drives an automatic. Nuff said here. And the clothes. And that he's even bothered to make a video of himself.

This was one of my lesser planned videos. Regardless the car wasn't very nice to drive.
