my brother in law passed away, in July. We found this band and shared it with him, and he automatically fell in love with you guys. He’s been to two of your shows in Oklahoma City, he even had your Bambi poster framed in his living room ! when he passed away, I remember being so unbelievably sad and finding the little happiness inside and dance my heart while crying at the same time to this song in our living room, wishing he was there to jam out with me. You guys mean the whole world to me, and my husband and to his brother. You guys truly changed my life, thank you.

My ex girlfriend recommended me this song and I just sorta had it on in the background once and told her I liked it without actually really hearing any of it. Now over a year later after we broke up I heard it on Spotify in its entirety and paid attention and couldn’t help but cry. I wish I could tell her how much I really enjoyed this song, I wish I had more chances to tell her that I love her more than anything in the world. But I fucked it up and I’m so mad at myself. And I feel like this song really captures that vibe, the anger, regret, everything that’s buried just beneath the surface of upbeat positivity.
