Lyrics: I live in a house with a tin roof and Every time it rains I can feel my brain it's Moving back and forth, upside-down, east west Feeling and remembering everything you do I was up last night tossing and turning Couldn't get to sleep and I slept through the morning Need to clear my head and get out of the city All alone in the jungle you'll find me Close your eyes and hear my secret Deep deep loving hear my secret Hear my secret Hear my secret Sometimes I can hear the treble below me Pounding through the floor, my body's so restless It lives in the basement below some boxes Makes me feel so strange and so thoughtless So maybe someday this roof will cave in You'll find me on the floor, looking at the stars These walls are made of brick, plated in gold But I'm still here, growing so old Close your eyes and hear my secret Deep, deep loving hear my secret Hear my secret Hear my secret Close your eyes and hear my secret Deep, deep loving hear my secret Hear my secret Hear my secret

i always think this song describes a trip perfectly (LSD specifically). Everyone whose done a psychedelic can relate to one of these feelings, the strange and indescribable feelings and mood , the want to go outside and be with nature, the awe of everything and feeling like you've unlocked something that is secret. Also the calm but still strange visuals represent a lot of experiences I've had. just a fantastic song
Yes, this video very much feels like a trip, especially with friends. The only good way to really describe what a trip is like to someone who never has is this video
@@danielmoore5022 If i listened to that while tripping i'd be sat in my coffin surrounded by my enemies. Chuck on the video for TOOL - Sober and you might as well chop me up and chuck me in a salad - a recipe for delicious disaster. Yum
The vr was not what I was expecting. Its as if you’re watching the movie as it is, but on a floating screen in front of you, rather than being consumed by the environment around the camera. Really stunning editing nonetheless.
It would be cool, but wouldn’t have the same effect. The creativity with the 360 camera is what makes the circular shape and movement feels so unreal. In vr it would just look like you’re in the room with them, a normal room.
Tbh i would totally be alright with that. That would be the next level in music videos in my honest opinion. It would be a literal virtual voncert. Pop some holophonic 16D music in with it too, and BAM. Magic.
The drop at 2:26 is so good. Love the rough guitar sound paired with the soft wavy synth along with the progressive drums while the voice's calm consistency holds it all in perspective. This song overall is really well balanced and chill.
Why would anyone choose to rot their brains? Further, to promote their poor life choices as if they're legitimate, and not signs of a sad and broken life.
This takes me back to living on university campus couple years ago. Everyone at the end of the hallway, including me and my current fiancé, were the stoner/druggies of the house. About 6 of us. Every other week or so we would have a group LSD trip and do this exact thing. Hook up the system and play smash, just chillin, listening to rad vibes on someone’s playlist at god knows what time it is out there. It was always a huge, surreal adventure when someone wanted to go downstairs of that big fraternity and make a bowl of cereal or something. We would all go so they wouldn’t get lost, then just get lost together. This video is incredibly reminiscent of those times.
So I’m still new to the experience but my third time with a whole new set of friends was an entire adventure. We vibes throughout, even when one said “Let’s chill in my room!” Went all together upstairs and immediately all 7ish of us said “whoa no, let’s go back” and just continued having all but a good time, talking and enjoying the mindset and openness.
First time I listened to this masterpiece was on my first LSD trip that ultimately helped me changed my previous toxic lifestyle. It was a magical experience and I'm glad I had some Crumb songs by my side. Crumb is such a great gift to all of us. Thank you guys!
@Disregarded Bullshit no not at all, the extra sensory feelings arent something that i want and they are real, lsd induces artificial feeling and emotion but when your dose ends they are gone, my feelings and emotions are induced by real art or something negative, its not something thats nice to live with unless you find little pieces of art like this. Everyone one the spectrum feels and thinks differently, i could explain what it feels like for me but not anyone else.

I wish I had talent lmao. All I do when I drop acid or eat shrooms is sit back and watch nostalgic movies and smoke weed. Still fun but I’d love to be able to put my trip into a more creative activity, I’ve tried drawing but it’s never anything special besides to me.
one of the trippiest and most beautiful music videos i've seen recently, especially with the combination of the song and visuals. the sort of thing to require multiple watches

All alone in the jungle you'll find me
Close your eyes and hear my secret
Deep deep loving hear my secret
Hear my secret
Hear my secret
Sometimes I can hear the treble below me
Pounding through the floor, my body's so restless
It lives in the basement below some boxes
Makes me feel so strange and so thoughtless
So maybe someday this roof will cave in
You'll find me on the floor, looking at the stars
These walls are made of brick, plated in gold
But I'm still here, growing so old
Close your eyes and hear my secret
Deep, deep loving hear my secret
Hear my secret
Hear my secret

This is the embodiment of everything that's GOOD about psychedelic drugs.
Gonna be that guy that says 'videos don't do psychedelics justice'
Fr, I was trippin this morning on acid, and I watched this video shit was a vibe and a trip
There needs to be a music video that shows all the BAD cause holy hell did I feel it last night
Hppd cut my relationship with psychedelics short but your always left with the mindset and understanding it's bad sometimes but it makes you think different ik you guys understand it's like the ones who haven't gone down the rabbit hole are sleeping like their minds just haven't seen shit I feel like a veteran who came from a war and the hppd is the ptsd.

i always think this song describes a trip perfectly (LSD specifically).
@TheZoneRanger MGMT "when you die" has the best acid visuals in a music video I think
@@danielmoore5022 If i listened to that while tripping i'd be sat in my coffin surrounded by my enemies. Chuck on the video for TOOL - Sober and you might as well chop me up and chuck me in a salad - a recipe for delicious disaster. Yum

imagine watching this as a VR 360
throw some psychedelics in the mix and your in for a wild ride
I would just get a headache tbh
What your favorite hop.
the bass parts are what satisfy me the most about this song. i love the restraint.

Sierra Lee this song reminds me of my college days too. Never tripped, but I discovered this song late one night in my dorm room :)
Goof times!!
I live at a house concert venue and this song reminds me of my house. I get numb to all the partying and live music that's around 24/7.
Reading this made me smile, that sounds like such a great time. It makes me think of how pure we can be.
First time I listened to this masterpiece was on my first LSD trip that ultimately helped me changed my previous toxic lifestyle. It was a magical experience and I'm glad I had some Crumb songs by my side. Crumb is such a great gift to all of us. Thank you guys!

@Disregarded Bullshit no isn’t

As a 90s kid. This is giving late 90s music. I love it ❤
It’s because they’re completely unoriginal. They sound like a slowed down Lucious Jackson, from the ‘90s, and they completely ripped off their band name from a kick ass rock band that was also from the ‘90s (their album was titled “Seconds, Minutes, Hours”). Think about that. They are so uncreative that they couldn’t even think up an original band name!
