The problem now at chelsea is they arent moving the ball as quick as its supposed to be in sarriball
I think that is more due to fatigue
They are also effectively playing with 10 men. Morata and Giroud are pointless. Im also not sure why Pedro doesnt play more as the system suits him perfectly. I imagine he'll be able to score 20 this season if he plays as a starter.
@Sharique Hammad Nah but Pedros dribbles too much. I watched Pedro aimlessly dribble across the pitch from side to side against Everton before passing it. Sarriball demands quick passes not dribbling around aimlessly before passing. Although I do agree that he makes great runs and has excellent finishing and tbh I don't think Hazard and Willian fit too well because they like to dribble but everybody has their own opinion.
Sarri like Morata on his recent match lol. He like his physical. Morata not a bulk striker like Kane make him more agile and move ball quickly

Kante is trying to fit into the Allan role which is perfect for him because he is a tank and he just needs to improve his passing in the final third. Ross and kova is playing the hamsick role of scoring goals. It is still the first season with sarri next season hopefully they understand the system and we can take it from there.
I'm Arsenal fan but this is my most favourite player is Jorginho. He is smart and able to remain composed all the time. I love him and Brozovic, they have similar characteristics and abilities
@MeOhYesMe you think so? I think Brozovic is better in covering the ground and contributing defensive cover and Jorginho is better in playing the ball (especially long passing directly to the focal point - Giroud, Hazard, Alonso or Morata)

He must learn to move better and offer himself as the free man when the rival man-mark him. He is also suffering in intense defensive transitions, but well.

He’s not a traditional “English” style box to box midfielder. That is the job of the two destroyers in midfield alongside Jorginho, either Kante and Kovacic or Barkley.
This is where the use of the ‘tactical foul’ came from, to completely stop defensive transitions in their tracks

Great video as usual. But sometimes it seems they cannot unlock certain teams and play out a draw eg- West Ham and Everton
You could a video on the changes that Sarri should implement to win such games.
Chelsea were just unlucky in those games and the selfishness of some players like willian shooting wide instead of squaring the ball to morata,sarri has already said we have to move the ball in a high speed and Chelsea is not consistent in doing that yet give them more time and everything will be perfect
Jorgi is our main pivotal part.....sarriball runs arround this amazing player...he is our own busquets.

This Sarri-Ball at Chelsea may not be at its optimum yet, but it has been impressive so far. A lot much more room for improvement considering Sarri has only been at Chelsea a few months. I feel the midfield is amazing and Jorghino will grow stronger in his role, however, the biggest set back is the inability of our strikers to take half chances. In games like that of Everton & West Ham you need strikers who will decide a game. Sarri will make a big mistake in January if he doesn't shake up the current CF configuration. If it's possible recalling Michy will not be a bad idea especially as signing another world class center forward in January is unlikely. Giraud isn't a strong enough competition for Morata. Morata appears too at ease.

Very good video. I like Sarri as I liked Conte before him. But I must say Sarri ball is a system of play which exceeds my expectations. Chelsea looks much better attacking, less defending. But Chelsea is improving. What amazes me is that Sarri says he would not change his system of play whoever the opponent is. This Chelsea is not afraid if anyone.
problem now is if you stop jorginho from playmaking then chelsea are in trouble
Chelsea players are yet to perfectly master sarri's style apart from Jorginho. They are not moving the ball fast enough & that's why they are struggling to break the defending pattern of a defensive opponent. This was reflected in their last game against Everton.
Like this video’s said, all teams started to use man-marked to Jorginho lately, so other players needed to move to get the ball instead of him, but they didn’t do that much as Sarri wants. Furthermore, Chelsea players want to go with ball more than passing, so that’s why Sarri’s tactic doesn’t fit and show full efficiency like he did at Napoli
Is there a way Kante can play deeper. Because he's not that useful that high up the pitch
sarri could transform the 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 shape having jorginho and kante in the pivot but dont think he will play the system

Have you been watching him lately? He is getting better and better at it and gets the team breaking on the counter quickly when he wins the ball back from someone.
4 goals and 4 assists and still makimg tonnes of tackles and interceptions and pressing high up the pitch would suggest he is very effective. The fact we're averaging much higher possession stats than other seasons explains why his defensive numbers aren't as high
In another nouman video, it says that sarri wants kanté to use the same skills as his normal position, but in a different way. Not to cover and protect the backline as he usually does but to press the opponent, aggressive defending instead of protective defending.

If stopping Chelsea is down just to man mark JORGINHO, then KOVACIC/BARKELEY should move into his position, KANTE & JORGINHO replacing their positions. Jorginho would move up and then can command above with KANTE back to his defensive mode. If we bring in VERRATTI who can play as KANTE & JORGINHO's tactical position it can confuse the opposition as well or if someone can play as the GUARDIOLA's INVERTED FULLBACK technique it would be great!!! What say??

Sarri said that he doesn't know why and says it's a problem. Well something along those lines, read it one some article from onefootball right after the Everton game. Probably something to do with he's been their coach for only three months so at the beginning of each game they are slow to get into the rhythm of Sarriball.
Hazard said sarri is not in himself a big difference to last season. Major change is jorginho and kovacoc on the pitch
Is Kante really necessary or required at Chelsea right now? Why not sell him for a huge amount of money and invest that to increase their squad depth or get better first team players?

I've tried with a 4-3-3 formation in fm2018: with a wb, one bpd, one cd, one rb, the mid-tri of a mezzala or cm, dlp(d), bbm and the front three of if(a), cf(f9) and a raumdeuter..it works good, I'm getting the most foals from the front three just like it was in Sarri's Napoli team. Also, lot of posession, beatiful goals and similiar

Chealse lacks innovation. Man-mark Joginho and defend the in between the line spaces and half spaces will nullify Chealse' s attack. Hazard needs a little more attention when defending but how long Hazard will carry Chealse single-handedly.
United fan here but for me, Chelsea’s football is most attractive. City’s is nice and effective but they don’t take many risks apart from crosses and there isn’t much interchanging of positions. Liverpool’s is very direct but not enough pleasing passing combinations. Chelsea’s is a combination. Great ball-retention, but also many direct vertical passes and third man runs.

While Icardi might seem like a good choice on the surface he wouldn’t actually be suited for Sarri-Ball and would probably be a disaster in this system.
Sarri’s system relies on a centre forward who can drop and link up play - if you watch Icardi he NEVER does that, I mean NEVER. He constantly sticks as close to the 18 yard box as possible and finished plays.
Which is why Inter Milan struggle in their offensive transitions sometimes and Icardi seems totally isolated up front.

For me. It was jorginho fault if he cant intercept for control possesion in midfield. If kante run wide midfielder it seems the right winger hve less chances to build up attcking on right flank . Jorginho needs a partner such as fabregas@drinkwater who hve ability to quick short passes n long ball. He cant rely on wide midfielder, bcoz sarriball system more build up on wide midfield that means if he loss posession someone hve bckup him. 433 formation to 4231 n rotate to 343 . Dvid luiz rudiger azplicueta can play full back not alonso. Which midfield contain jorginho kante alonso and barkley. But the problem is if chelsea against team with high pressing. They still playing on same formation

It's the same the only difference is, it's a forward movement rather than the left to right movement of the ball. It's more like up and down movement (Vertical instead of horizontal).

Look how previous CDM play for CFC for the past 10 years, start with makelele, essien, mikel, matic and cesc. Jorginho is great player, but if u are playing in fron of the back four, u need to be part of the defensive mode if the opp team attack or counter attack. If not, look how we lost to City, United and Burnemouth.

Of all the top teams, maybe only Barcelona have a horrifically slow deep lying playmaker on their side, and they cover Busquets because the whole playing style-from academy to starting 11-is drilled into all their players so they can protect him. In leagues where counter attacking and faster play (which is becoming more and more effective at all levels, including international) is more prevalent, Jorginho can't survive. The major issue is that the steps needed to be taken to protect him (which are many, because to have such a hole in the literal center of the park is always going to be a massive issue) are the ones that Sarri doesn't adapt to. For example, you can have a guy like Pjanic if you have a player like Matuidi or Khedira who play just off them, protecting the back line. If you push them up towards the attack constantly like Chelsea did with Kante, you're always going to be vulnerable. Jorginho's flaws have greatly outweighed his benefits this season and made it extremely difficult for Chelsea to find any balance. His benefits at Napoli also did not translate to a new league, where he passed sideways all too often.

I don't think he qualifies to take kantes role. Chelsea performance this season was not impressive mainly because jorginho is not qualified for that role . Sarri has never given kante his main role to play deep because it's obvious he knows he will displace his favorite son .

@@marcosrivera312 undoubtedly! But in that role he is playing, he is not. Kovacic is not far from kante in terms of defensive work although kante is better. Kova is good too and has things good attacking things to add that kante can't. Psg will be ready to buy kante for 100 mil. Just sell him respectfully and reinvest to suit sarris system .it will be one of the difficult things to do but it will yield good fruits
