      Gee whiz I’m just finding this one.
      Sunday-Got the notification & instantly went to your channel. I’m like a kid got to be first. Lol BUT nothing new then came out then went back in & new one still not there. Just thought it was a glitch of some kind.
      Went in today AND there it is; the latest one.
      Love you guys! Chris? No like cook onions inside? wow that’s so radical I don’t wanna think about it. Must be a Northern thing. The world loves our southern food. I put onions in scrambled eggs even & onions being sautéed in butter to start brings everyone running & hungry.
      Get well Aaron & Chris you are a trooper!
      Aaron check out on net “Red Rock Canyon” just west of LV downtown. Chris will love those red rock pics.

    Dude you should thank your lucky stars you have her caring for you, she is incredible. I know how painful the ankle can be and to have someone actually love and think of you and what you can and can’t manage shows you that, its not talk. My journey with two fractured feet has been a nightmare going it alone, 2 boots for 10 weeks, then 1 boot for the heel for 3 more weeks and trying to walk with swollen painful feet is the worst. The only thing good about the snow outside is I can go out barefoot and sit with my feet buried to try and bring down the swelling. It sucks, hope you feel better sooner than later but be thankful you have someone who has your back during this, shes a trooper.

    Another movie location for you, Aaron in his condition could not have made it up there but it may be worthwhile endeavor if you ever make it back. At 29:48 and 30:08 there’s a small peak in the frame, it was a filming location in the movie Star Trek Generations. The scenes where Captains Kirk and Picard work together to defeat Tolian Soran on the Planet Veridian III. In those scenes Kirk eventually dies and Picard buries him on top of that peak. I’ve never been to VoFSP, but when I make it I’ll definitely do that walk.

    Hello Chris and Aaron! Wow...this is really a cool spot! One of our mailmen here in Ouray used to work for the NV Highway Patrol. He has been a bonanza of info for any of my trips to Vegas. I used to go there a fair amount for work, but my boss quit that in January 2020. Ironically, we're heading to Palm Springs and Vegas this coming weekend. I've been over to the Red Rocks Park, but haven't been to this Valley of Fire. I was planning to head out to Death Valley. However, my wife will be coming with. So, we may just end up on the main strip.
    Chris...that was an awesome jaunt around the area. I love moving around the desert! Thank you for bringing us with!
    Get well soon, Aaron!!
    With regards to your dometic, if you could do that size again?

      @@IreneIronTravels Yes! I think we will go to Idlywild, above Palm Springs as soon as we arrive. Then, it will be Thursday, so we can go to that festival street that we went to. We're only there for 1 night; so that will probably be it for there on this trip ;-(
      With it being super bowl weekend, air flow is going to be heavily managed in Vegas. So, getting there will be probably not so great. But, we'll be there for 2 nights.
      I edited a question to you probably after you replied. Has your 55l dometic been an ok size for you? Or, do you wish you had the slightly larger one?

    • @IreneIronTravels
      @IreneIronTravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The size on the 55 is about perfect for us. We could do a weeks worth of fresh groceries for 2 when we were living out of that thing! The feature that would be cool is the dual zone so we could have a fridge and a freezer at the same time….. but those only come in the 75l and that wouldn’t fit in our back seat….

    I stumbled on to your videos about a year ago. I was researching Air Streams at the time and you did a nice tour of them before you chose your current set up. Anyway, probably my first comment. Have one question, when do you think is the best time to trade in your truck? No, I am not a truck salesman. Just personally thinking that at some point the reliability will decrease and then value will also decrease. Just wondering if you have done some research to determine your perfect timing. I've heard of the F250 going to 300 and 400k miles but eventually having transmission issues. Anyway don't let my question throw you sideways. Always a fun show. May Christ bless you fully. JT

I do the driving shots with a go pro hero 8 and we just added a couple of Apple 13 pros to supplement with and always have a camera with us. • @BeeCreekPhotographySpicewood
      @BeeCreekPhotographySpicewood 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IreneIronTravels We have a mix of Sony's and Nikon's. The main cameras are the A7R4 for both hand held and the new drone. I just picked up the new Sony Airpeak S1 drone, it is awesome with full integration with the camera and now I can fly the A7R4. I have an older A7R3 that I am going to repurpose to video. On the old drone the DJI s900 I used the Sony A7R2. We have the Nikon D850 and the Z7 that I use for architecture photography and a DJI Mavic pro 2 for when i can not put up the big drone. We mainly use 24-70 zooms for both platforms but have a few special lenses, the sony 16-35 2.8, the zeiss 35m 2.8 for the drone camera, the sony 90 macro and I just picked up the sony 100-400 as well as the Nikon 24 PC lens (tilt shift). We use lightroom, photoshop and learning premiere rush for video on Mac's. Do you guys use any gimbal's for the video gear? The new van is going good we had several good trips and planning more for this spring. We are dealing with a frig issue and trying to get it fixed at the moment. ;

    • @IreneIronTravels
      @IreneIronTravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow, Ton of cool gear! That’s pretty amazing the Sony drone can handle the A7R4! We have a gimbal for our older smaller Sony A6400 setup , but would have to get a new one to handle the weight of the A7C and lenses. I like them for certain videos like tour videos or if we were shooting a more “professional” video for a company. But For our vlog style it’s more of a pain to set up so I just try to be as steady free hand as I can be.🤣
