Hi Candie! We had a great time at this park and will never forget this one! Thank you for your prayers. Carrie’s mom is doing better and is back at her place. She has many supporting friends checking on her nearly daily. We are trying to convince her to do the monthly recommended treatments but at the same time we want to respect her choices.

Great video as always. $30 senior citizen annual pass and can get it by mail. I like the GPS coordinates of where you camped but easy enough to find the park on google maps.

Hi Babs! That was February 23rd. We were there during an unusual cold spell. The daytime temps were from 40 to ’60s and the nights were as low as 30. Those steaks were awesome! What a treat. We had such a great time here. 😀😀🐕🎾❤️

Hi Betsy! I wear the old fashion long underwater and layer with a down jacket and windbreaker. My favorite pants are 511 tactical. They are reinforced and will last 2 years even if I wear them every day. Well worth the money. 😎

Heart cloud at 7:02. God was wooing y’all that day with beauty and the perfect lighting. And heart clouds. I’ve visited places and had experiences like that. When you go back for a repeat sometimes you realize it was a one time gift. God speaks in anyway we will listen, but not often the same way twice. He’s wild and unpredictable like that.
Gorgeous!! I live in AZ and V of F is on my bucket list this fall. Be vigilant while meandering through slot canyons when the skies look like rain. Many hikers have been swept away and drowned.
Yes, that good advice! This one's a can't at less then 80 feet long but you can never be to safe. We are excited for you to visit Valley of Fire! We made memories that will last a lifetime. 😎
Sure enjoy following you along on your journey and I've added some must see places to my bucket list. Over the years I've been disappointed in that many of the National parks and Monuments won't let dogs even walk on the trails or leave a person's campsite and of course I travel with my dogs everywhere so finding primitive sites is very important. But there are places I'd like to see where the pooches aren't welcome. I'm so glad you have Roodle with you, that gives me lots of options for places to visit and camp where my well behaved dogs can enjoy the journey also. Mucho gracias for sharing with all of us.
We wouldn't want to do this without our dog either. 😀🐕🎾❤️ We might at some time try a dog sitter if we both want to visit a National park bad enough. It's just the National Parks are so crowded and we hate to leave Roodle with a stranger.

Looks like a magical place. Great job on capturing the colors and textures. Part of my childhood was spent climbing on rocks in Ethiopia and Eritrea. I have always loved desert and rocks. Those steaks looked perfect 🥰. How are you liking the new electrical system?
It was truly magical! We caught it on a perfect day with a great mix of clouds and sun. We also have a thing for desert rocks! I will have to google the desert rocks of Ethiopia. We are loving our new battery set up! We are still trying to determine if we need to add more solar to the roof now. With gas prices up we are trying to drive less and that means less charge from the alternator. We only have 200 watts on the roof now. Our portable 100-watt panel no longer works so time will tell. 😎

It’s amazing how the rocks get the swirling effect like that. That’s cool. Definitely would be a winter trip, it gets hot in the summer. I’d surely try to stay in the campground a few nights. Great video 👍🏼
That swirl effect in the rock reminded us of the Wave! Yes! No way I could survive the summer heat here either. They did a Star Trek episode here and I can see why. 😎

They had the trails marked pretty well but that is a big concern as the temperature heats up.

Great video as always. $30 senior citizen annual pass and can get it by mail. I like the GPS coordinates of where you camped but easy enough to find the park on google maps.

Hi Babs! That was February 23rd. We were there during an unusual cold spell. The daytime temps were from 40 to ’60s and the nights were as low as 30. Those steaks were awesome! What a treat. We had such a great time here. 😀😀🐕🎾❤️

Hi Betsy! I wear the old fashion long underwater and layer with a down jacket and windbreaker. My favorite pants are 511 tactical. They are reinforced and will last 2 years even if I wear them every day. Well worth the money. 😎

I’ve visited places and had experiences like that. When you go back for a repeat sometimes you realize it was a one time gift. God speaks in anyway we will listen, but not often the same way twice. He’s wild and unpredictable like that.

Sure enjoy following you along on your journey and I've added some must see places to my bucket list. Over the years I've been disappointed in that many of the National parks and Monuments won't let dogs even walk on the trails or leave a person's campsite and of course I travel with my dogs everywhere so finding primitive sites is very important. But there are places I'd like to see where the pooches aren't welcome. I'm so glad you have Roodle with you, that gives me lots of options for places to visit and camp where my well behaved dogs can enjoy the journey also. Mucho gracias for sharing with all of us.
We wouldn't want to do this without our dog either. 😀🐕🎾❤️ We might at some time try a dog sitter if we both want to visit a National park bad enough. It's just the National Parks are so crowded and we hate to leave Roodle with a stranger.

It was truly magical! We caught it on a perfect day with a great mix of clouds and sun. We also have a thing for desert rocks! I will have to google the desert rocks of Ethiopia.
We are loving our new battery set up! We are still trying to determine if we need to add more solar to the roof now. With gas prices up we are trying to drive less and that means less charge from the alternator. We only have 200 watts on the roof now. Our portable 100-watt panel no longer works so time will tell. 😎

It’s amazing how the rocks get the swirling effect like that. That’s cool. Definitely would be a winter trip, it gets hot in the summer. I’d surely try to stay in the campground a few nights. Great video 👍🏼
That swirl effect in the rock reminded us of the Wave! Yes! No way I could survive the summer heat here either. They did a Star Trek episode here and I can see why. 😎

Hi Kir and Ron! Nevada does feel like the forgotten state! Our timing could not have been any better on this visit. We had the best mix of sun and clouds to show off all the natural color of the rock! We love desert rock! Also, to get 10 feet away from a Ram! That was amazing! Take care you guys!
