Bro I agree with everything here!!! So much content theyre making out there is so uninteresting. Being original and inventive is what makes the entire entertainment industry interesting. The indie films/shows out there aren't afraid to introduce new ideas, yet they're punished for it by never getting any respect. The worst example imo will always be Infinity Train!
Being a marketing major, we talk about Nostalgia selling better than anything. That’s why everything is being rehashed. That’s why they give you old things with a small sense of nostalgia and a lot of disappointment. Doesn’t matter though because you saw it or you spent money on it. It sucks and that’s why I don’t care for marketing anymore.
Timmy is in the reboot as an adult. But his adult design is taken from "The big Problem" in which he's fat and bald, so the ending of "Channel Chasers" stand once again retconned.

I really just don't like what they are doing, and I can 100% see that channel chasers is such a good ending for timmy. But noooooo, "big problem" is better? This video is my gut reaction to just seeing another reboot, while the og series is still a mess. Doesnt this remind you of spongebob? or any other show being pushed to the ends of the earth? If the cartoon does well, I'm happy for it and will bite my words. But if it isnt good, then it isnt good.
I mean, the one thing I'll give this reboot is that it's canonical that Cosmo and Wanda have had dozens of god kids over the years and everytime a new one gets too old for fairy's they go to a new one. Timmy could've just got too old
That would be cool, but sadly, from what I heard Timmy is the adult verison from "Thr big problem" instead of "Channel Chasers" so it's just sad to know that and Timmy didn't grow up cool
I totally get it, reboots are sooo tired. Especially when streaming services decides to cancel original shows too early, I'll never forgive them for cancelling Infinity Train
I wouldn’t call it a reboot if there’s new cast, it’s more like a continuation or a new story. A reboot would be with Timmy as the main character again. I don’t care for the show but to me it’s in the lore of the show as the fairy do get reassigned to kids. Additional the Timmy appearance is also in line with the episode where he wished to be an adult. So I would be curious as to how this will differ from the prequel

They just needed to have it be about Timmy and Tootie's kids. The kids that watched the original would have kids themselves right now. It could've been a beautiful thing two generations could've watched together.

W video like all ways in my opinion all reboots are crash grabs they are not the same you can’t recreate great shows are movies like the Zoey 102 movie was garbage it was not the same just for instance the show was way better these companies be ruining the shows reputation
