I love meeting and playing with every dog I encounter too. I always try not to be too excited and freak them out whenever there is one around that I can pet and am always a little bit sad when they prefer their owners to me. 😂 (that being said, I have 4 of my own, so I shouldn't complain😉) I can't wait to see the finished blanket and how the new one knits up! And the bow motif sweater sounds like a lot of fun and looks like it will be super cute, looking forward to seeing your progress with that one too-- you always have such great projects!!😊

Every time I got an insta notification I’d be like “destash?!?” No, just a pretty top lol, then next time “destash?!?” No, just a stupid glorious beach that looks to die for lol. I easily entertain myself w my own foolishness! Love the petrol blue tank!

Also, on the Ribbons Vest. If your friend isn’t able to find the time to translate, it looks like pretty simple colourwork. Couldn’t you just use the Tolsta Tank vest version and sub in the colourwork? Then add steeks once you get to the arm splints and continue in the round? You’d get a different gauge with the colourwork, but that would be appropriate for the winter anyway. Good luck with it either way! And yes, I agree that shoulder detail is special. If it’s worked top-down, that might be more tricky to hack the pattern.
I thought about just adding the motif to the Tolsta tank as well.

I know you said you might have liked the mint as the main color better, but it’s so pretty as it is. It’s perfect for summer.
The last appointment I had at the hospital, on the way out, we ran into two of the therapy dogs. They had a golden retriever and a golden doodle and they were so sweet and just amazing. The service dogs in medical venues really do make a difference, I know that they brightened our day.
We had a never ending battle with the squirrels over our kiddie pools 😅. We would have to take them down when we had them and use the water for our flowers. Otherwise they would pop them 🫠.

Love your Tolsta Tank! I’m am so into Tour de France, too! I usually end up just watching the highlights most days since work and family time encroach into my pro cycling watching. (Dang job and loved ones! Don’t they know I need me some pro cycling?! 😉)
I wish I could stay up till midnight watching it every night. But that alarm clock would feel really early the next morning. 😂

I'm with you! I LOVE planning trips! In my next life, I'd like to be a travel agent....but just for family and friends! Sounds like a fantastic trip you guys had. my next trip is an MYAK retreat to Italy in September so I don't have to plan a thing. It is my first knitting retreat.
I wish I was going on that retreat but I think the dates overlapped with my trip to Copenhagen. Have so much fun!

I can relate to your story about asthma! I have hardly ever needed my inhaler unless in extreme situations until last summer. The incredible heat last summer changed that completely. Now this summer's heat has me experiencing breathing issues again. I am not happy about it!:( Anyway, love the yellow Tolsta tee!

I love your idea for your Tolsta Tee. That combination of mint and chartreuse is stellar. Also, I feel validated now. I am currently knitting the Tolsta Tank in 4-ply and I feel like everyone keeps whipping out these DK versions and I’m still slogging along on the body.
Haha, 4-ply takes FOREVER! But it feels so nice when you’re done.
