I have those cat buttons that I used on my granddaughters sweater! 😊
Aww! They’re so cute!
We are red twins with our 4008 and I was 51 on May 20! The colour looks lovely on you. I am knitting the Poppy Tee by Petite Knit at the moment with the Sunday and Mohair. Love all your WIPS and FOs. Very inspiring episode with the knitting and Moncton. Glad you had a wonderful birthday month. Thanks for sharing. x
Thanks Tash! Happy 51st!! It never fails to amaze me when I meet others with sooOo many parallels on opposite sides of the globe. It’s a wonderful feeling. You are heavily responsible for me FINALLY getting that Sunset Highway on my needles.
Happy belated BAM! I think those leftover balls of poppy colored yarn are begging to be a hat. Such a happy color!
Thank you Carol! ❤️ Those leftover balls of poppy are currently sitting next to some grey yarn and seem to be asking to be colourwork of some kind 🤔… we shall see. It is SUCH a vibrant red/orange!
Another lovely podcast - thank you. The hair is great too!
So excited to see your Sunset Highway!! 💜
❤ your new hair! Looks great!excited to see Chocolate River yarns as I have ordered there a few times, and had nice chats with the owner, it might inspire me to save up and make a big order! Looking forward!
I always have a lot of fun watching you. You knit beautiful things. Very inspiring
Thank you so much Jasmine!
Love the Magic Spring Shawl ...... I think you might like this pattern too, I've knit it with LIchen & Lace. "May I Borrow This Please" by Lorraine Waitman, free pattern on Ravelry. Your Cocktail cardi is gorgeous, I also enjoy knitting an attached button band.
I love seeing the places you go. I'm working on socks and starting an Audrey sweater.
Happy Belated Birthday and Anniversary. Your haircut looks great and thank you for the uplifting podcast. It's always good to hear from you.
Thank you so much!
Your haircut is soooo youthful on you!! It just brightens and uplifts your pretty face! Great knitted projects too!!
Thank you Deb feels fresh!!!!
Lovely episode. It's always nice to get a "grooming" Love your knits. I feel the same about summer fiber. Just isn't fun for me. Thank you again . Moncton is great!
It's so good to see you again! All you FOs look amazing. I was wondering if the collar on your WIP was even all the way around. It looked uneven to me, but that could have either been the pattern or just how it looked on the needles. I really liked the colors you picked for your sweater yoke birthday present. I know it will be beautiful! Your new hairstyle looks stylish and chic for summer. As always, I get so excited when I see your new videos available! How exciting to visit with Nancy! I'm an avid follower of hers as well. ❤🧶❤️🧶❤️
Thank you for the video!
Love the hair!!!!
Thank you Cynthia!
Your hair looks fabulous! 💇🏻♀️ Your projects look amazing as always. 🧶 My EEW Nano is still in timeout. I really enjoyed your Moncton footage. I knit on my Tolsta Tee while watching. 🤩
Thank you friend!! Our poor dusty EEW Nanos!! LOL
The red Cocktail Cardigan is literal perfection. You look so cool with your sassy new do and rocker tee! I love that you've made so many amazing connections in so many places!
Thanks Tracey! 💗💗 You are one of those TREASURED connections 💗💗
You made yarn!!!!! That is so awesome!!! It's gorgeous!!!
Your episodes are so wonderful!! Love your new ‘do’ and glad you had a great BAM. Thanks for sharing your visit with Nancy and Sophie- looked like a great time. Like you I am trying to spin on my EEW but it seems like I can either spin thread or rope! Guess we can expect perfection when we start a new craft.
Thank you Beverly! Yes “practice makes progress” 👌🏼
Hi Leanne, I had to pause you half way to check this pattern of yours from 3D. Andrea Mowry has a pattern called Goldfinch, which I have actually made in blues, looks very similar to yours. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely knits and your beautiful Canada. 🇨🇦 happy knitting and flying!
Oh thank you! Checking out Goldfinch right now! Appreciate that 😊
Once again, another Great podcast. My mom and I laughed and really enjoyed this epsiode. I already knew about your haircut and commented on IG but my Mom just seen it last nite and first word to come out of her mouth was, "Ooooooohhhhhhh" and then, "Someone got a fancy haircut!! Looks so nice on herrrrrr." 😁🥰
We look forward to your next episode. 😉🥰
Love this!!!
I'm into knitting socks right now for Summer Sock Camp. It's just a fun thing to do every year, and I love it.
Very fun!!!
Hi ! I'm so glad you came to Moncton, NB. I live in the North-East region and I wish you'll come back to visit us. I love your podcasts and I have been looking forward to watch each episode with enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing your knitting projects. bye for now. Bonita
Thank you Bonita!!
So many things
Loved to see a bit of Moncton
Love your hair cut
I am also a hard fan of led zeppelin
I loved your cardigan and your summer shawlette 🩷
Kindred spirits we are!
@@theknittystew indeed 🥹🩷
Love your haircut and your finished objects! Sabine from Germany
Thanks for watching Sabine! 🩷
Great episode. For summer tees I’ve used the Little soft nettle by Ancient Arts. It’s lovely to wear on all but the very hottest summer day. I live in Golden BC so really want to get to the Calgary knit city.
Leanne, congratulations on your 2 year anniversary. I love watching your podcast and listening to your adventures. Your new haircut is adorable. Thank you for bringing us a long on your travels of 🇨🇦 Canada. My favorite country to visit.
There are actually 3 cities in one area thus giving them the status of largest NB city. Dieppe and Riverview. Although close are separate cities. The sculpture of the lobster was a piece created by Winston Bronnum, who created animal land near Sussex, NB
Yes! I hear the lobster got a fresh coat of paint in time for summer visitors!
There arent enough superlatives of love to say how much I enjoy your podcasts. Love that yarn store you showed in Moncton…feel a road trip coming on! That haircut was designed for you. Finished objects terrific. Take care in work and travels.
Heather you are the kindest!! Road trip to MONCTON BABY YAY!!
The shawl you described (worn by 3D) might be the Brickless by Martina Behm
Thank you! Keen eye! A few of you have suggested that. 🤔
Hello Leanne ❤Each time it's a pleasure to knit and listen your podcast.
Your small scarf pattern you tried to find it's maybe the :
Solar Flares on Drops number: 202-38😊
Ooo!!! I’ll check it out!!
Loved your projects and tour of the Moncton area. Am duly inspired. Great Vlog, the pace is perfect. Just subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you so much for that kindness!
I love your cardigan, and imho the color is perfect for you! Regarding cotton? Could not agree more, with one exception: Illimani Sabri II which is a chainette construction of 15% alpaca stuffed with 85% cotton. It is not destroying my hands and has a nice drape.
I’m going to check that out!
Love your shawl, its beautiful. You'll get a kick out of knitting the gnomes. Thanks for the tour of Monkton. Hugs
❤❤❤
Leanne, could the shawl passenger 3D was wearing have been a Boho Blush by Andrea Mowry? It is crescent-shaped and has a combination of lace and brioche.
Yes could be! Or Brickless.. still a mystery!
The haircut looks great! I love that shoulder detail and the button band on your cardigan - so sleek!!! definitely adding to my ravelry favourites.
Another wonderful podcast, Leanne. Your cardi is beautiful, is perfect. Mushrooms are so cute. All your knitting is beautiful. Your "shawl" is really nice, perfect size. New sweater will be gorgeous too. Love your walks around the cities you visit. Thank you.
You look so good with your new shorter haircut Leann! Also love your projects, they are beautiful! It’s too bad about the cotton/ wool project. Summer knits are so nice to have but I agree that pure woolly projects are the nicest to knit. Much harder to hide flaws with the plant fibers. Hope your summer continues to be joyful!
Great haircut, you look fabulous with and the red cardi. Another lovely episode, nice scenery in moncton!
Love your new haircut, you’re looking great. The spring shawl landed definitely on the top of my to do list, thanks for that.
Always a pleasure to hang out with you!
Thank you Camilla!!!! 🩵🩵
Wow that colour for your Cocktail cardigan is just lovely as is your podcast, thank you once again
You look beautiful Leanne and your handspun is so lovely.... really well done. Using lint for stuffing is so clever, I might start saving mine :) Ivana ❤
Your hair looks fabulous. Amazing finished objects. How lucky to be ab.e to meet up with Nancy. Moncton looks interesting. 🇬🇧
Oh My… what a great- fibre filled hour! Loved knitting with you and now have to go stash diving as I KNOW I have little Nettle Soft in my stash somewhere!… love ALL the enabling😊. Your cardigan colour is spot on and love the new “do”. Congrats to all the winners and thank you for the opportunity to score some beautiful prizes. 🎉here’s to many more years of podcasting (please!).🤗❤️
Thank you Linda!!! 🤍🤍
Love watching and seeing the projects in progress and those completed. Wonderful sense of humour
😆
Happy Belated Birthday!! 🎁🎂🥳 I love your haircut. 👍🏻🙂 The yarn that you spun looks great, you'll have to find a special project for it. 😊 As usual, there is so much to love in your video. Best to you! 🤗
You are adorable! Love the haircut and all the projects!! In love with your red sweater!!!! ❤
Oh thank you!
Hi Leanne. Good to see you again. Love, love your haircut. You look 21.😍 How delightful to overnight somewhere new, AND get to meet some of our beautiful people of our community. Thanks for another great chat. I’m still going on my Joji Milton Cardi. How awesome is you red cardi. I love it. Thanks so much. Christine, Queensland , Australia.
Happy BAM ! I love learning about places in Canada I know nothing about. I want that gorgeous “mussels on the beach” color set so much, I have to try to order it! I hope they will ship to Florida. Happy travels and thanks so much for sharing your knitting life with us.😊🎉
Happy belated birthday! Loving all your knits; especially your poppy - coloured cardigan. It looks great with your new haircut.
Wool and silk for summer?
Love love the red sweater … and the hair
So nice to see you! Knitting hats and socks for Christmas. Summer is my crazy work season, too. It's off to a rip-roaring start. My daughter is getting married in late July, and I have that to look forward to. Safe flying, and see you next time.
Belated birthday wishes & 2 year anniversary of the Knitty Stew. Thanks for sharing all your makes, especially the Magic Spring Shawl information. Perfect for the single skein unicorn purchases! Barbara from New Zealand 😊
Thanks Barbara!! 🇳🇿 👋🏼
Happy birthday Leanne 🎉 I'm so happy you finally came to Moncton and visited our beautiful yarn shop which I call it my "candy store 😂 " I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to our fair city.
Candy store indeed!!
Oh wow that was jam packed full of fun. Loved it, can't believe you've been doing this for 2 years, where has the time gone?! Loved it all and your art yarn is fabulous. Thanks for all the fun, I just smiled all the way through (as usual) Your hair is gorgeous, it also looked great long too so win-win. It's so lovely and shiny, I have short hair - because it's crap (confused: wavy, frizzy and annoying) plus I'm lazy (super lazy!!) and always in the pool, ocean, shower or bath. So I always admire beautiful hair and dream I still have long hair sometimes!! 🤣🤣 happy knitting, Karen 🥰
Thanks Karen! You absolutely ROCK the pixie cut BIGTIME ohh if I could pull that ‘do off I’d get extra sleep in the morning and easy styling!! Happy to have you here always!!
Thanks for letting us know about the Magic spring shawl, Leanne! I've got several skeins lying about which would be great for this knit. Needed some space and was taking this day off, and it was such a joy to be able to listen to this episode, see your beautiful knits, and enjoying the lovely footage. Hope you find the right way for you to wind down a bit. Wishing you a lovely summer. Love, Ylva🌷💚
Thank you Ylva you too 🌸
@@theknittystew 🥰
Leanne that color is STUNNING on you! And your haircut suits you so beautifully! Your excitement for your projects is so contagious and now I have at least 3 new ravelry tabs open on my computer 😂🥰
Thank you!! The enabling never ends on the podcasts!
You are lovely. Always enjoy your podcasts. Would love to meet you on a plane:). Will definitely try that magic shawl. Love the cardigan!
Your hair looks amazing Leanne! 😊
I love the Sunset Highway sweater - I've knitted it twice. I also knitted the Zweig sweater (3 times). If the Zweig fits you well, so will the Sunset Highway.
This is VERY encouraging! Thank you Sylvie!
Hi! Two questions: do you have a favourite TH-cam. Idea for the norvégien thimble ? I tried and struggled… also I am visiting NFLand in a few weeks and wonder if you have good suggestion for yarn store /fibre … ? That would be great ! Lively hairdo btw … you are making me think of cutting mine now…
Hello Helene👋🏼 I learned the Norwegian thimble by watching Dank Fiber: th-cam.com/video/6bmmz207lu8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3L4qERfU06LAFZ3G
So exciting about Newfoundland. Will you be visiting all over?
@@theknittystew yes I will be visiting all that I can in 5 weeks ! Thank you for the answer for the thimble
Thank you for your delightful sharing of knitting, BAM love, friendships, acquisitions and more! ❤
Hi and happy birthday!!! I've looked up and read about the acadians - so interesting, thanks for that. Wonderful makes and wips, love the colours you choose. I've been wanting to get east for quite some time (I'm in Ontario), you represented the area so well. That board walk and that little town looks so inviting! Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy watching your videos ;) Sunshine
Just love your videos! I always look forward to seeing them. We moved to BC from the states almost 2 years ago now. So I love the combination of travel and knitting that your podcast has. Loved the mushrooms and the Magic Spring Shawl! I love the yarn you created; so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing! Happy knitting!
Thank you for your message Melody! Where did you move from in the US?
I think its so sweet of you to knit a arm warmer for Mom #2.
I imagine her loving it...
Could you seriously be any cuter with your new hair!! Love that little shawl! And the Cardigan...ummmm add to cart!! 😁
Aw you’re so sweet!
@@theknittystew 🥰
Wow! The hand spun yarn is amazing! Very talented! Beautiful projects. I love spring/summer scarves!
I just found your channel. Loved the cardigan, mushrooms and especially the scarf... delightful.
I lived in Calgary for a lot of years. My husband was in the oil patch.
I will continue to watch going forward.
Love your hair! Don't be so hard on yourself on your first ply...it's beautiful and will look wonderful knit up. Haven't been with Craftsy since they were sold...I'll have to check them out again. Loved your Moncton video.❤
Love your hair - very attractive ❤. You’ve made so many lovely things. I’m so impressed by your skill level. Also, I’m so afraid of flying and you do it so regularly! I wish I had your courage. Thank you for sharing your time and energy with us - it’s a blessing for me. I liked seeing Muncton, so beautiful. I just saw Nancy on Sweet Skein of Mine, another Canadian podcaster. You help make life so interesting.
Beautiful projects and episode as always! ❤
The 3D Shawl might have been „Brickless“ by Martina Behm. This one has eyelets and ribbing.
Love from Germany
Great haircut! Glad to hear your BAM was great.
Love all your FO's ... a big fan of red. I just received a trio of socks kits from Ancient Arts. I've been curious about the nettle yarns so many thanks for the review.
In the middle of my first frogging project redo - colourwork mittens, hat and partial cowl. None of them fit, so I frogged them all, washed the yarn and restarted the mittens. They have polar bears on them - perfect for visiting the Assiniboine Park Zoo bears in Winnipeg winters. Midway thru the cowl but finishing up a headband first so I have enough yarn. Small projects are wonderful right now.
For some unknown reason, I don't mind knitting cotton. I finished up 2 summer tops in Berroco Pima 100 and have another 1 planned.
Cheers from the middle of the country.
I am currently knitting the India Print Henley by Ann Budd from her book Top-Down Sweaters. The raglans are a bit confusing for me as I've always knitted them bottom up. I am looking into my stash to knit the Magic shawl. I love yours.
Try silk /wool. I ❤️ malabrigo silky merino. And manage the flotes with jacquard
Great podcast! Love, love your hair!! Very cute…..😊 I’m into light shawls right now too. Definitely will check that pattern out. I live in the desert and with all the air conditioning the light weight shawls are the just right cover-up while shopping and dinning out. Thanks for the inspiration and wonderful knits❣️🧶
I just started the pressed flower shawl, and had my eye on the Sophie scarf, but maybe I will knit the Party scarf instead. Beautiful funished objects, and feel the same way about cotton, just funished the ripple bralette and, did not like working with cotton. I'm a maritimer living in Montreal, so loved your footage
Your hair is perfect for you! Great job! I think k I missed out on adding a comment about mussels, but in 2016, hubby, our teen girls and I made an epic road trip out east from SW Ontario. We had a proper Lobster supper at a church hall on PEI, and our appetizer was a large bucket of mussels! When we finished them, the server asked if we'd like another bucket. We would have loved another bucket, but our lobster dinner was still coming, and dessert! It was the best meal in the entire 2 weeks!
Thank you Leanne! I love that poppy cardigan!! Nice job!👏🏽👏🏽
Working on my second Lunenburg…it’s one of my all time favourites. Love your 💇♀️
Just love watching your podcast…I added that beautiful spring shawl to my must knit list! Happy belated birthday to you 🎉
I have given cotton a try many times and, I just can't seem to like the fabric it creates. So if you don't like it no worries. Love your podcast a beautiful footage of NB. Hope one day to visit the east coast. Hugs from Vancouver.
Hi Leanne. Love your podcast and totally jealous you get to travel like you do!! I have a nano spinner in the packing box. Need to get on with it!! I am a very avid knitter and so thankful for it. Keeps me sane!!
Love the new “do”! I’m excited to try the Magic Spring mini , it’s beautiful.
Leanne another wonderful video! Love your champagne cardigan after watching your last video I cast on the champagne cardigan as well what a wonderful pattern. I knit mine in grey but after seeing yours finished I might need to cast on a red one as well!
I love your haircut! And I love your podcast!!! ❤️
CO the shawl thanks for the inspiration. Not feeling like knitting big so socks & a shawl perfect 👌. Thanks for tip out too 🙏🏻🧶
I didn't realize that Nancy is Canadian. Beautiful views.
love your hair! if you ever end up in Fredericton please reach out - great episode!

Congrwts to winners
You're the best!
Love your new hair style! Your handspun yarn is lovely 🥰. It’s hardly “art yarn “
A beautiful episode of my little corner of the world! You do amazing for describing it and telling a bit of our story and thank you for mentioning the Acadians! We are proud of our heritage 😊 Great Cardi! I want to make one and the same colour. It was so exciting to see my knitty friends Sophie and Nancy 💕
🩵🩵🤍🤍
I too..love your podcast..AND...love your hair do..
Love the haircut too. One of the originals who of course watches the whole podcast. Love your making and your making adventures.
You rock Sunny!!
Try Knitting for Olive cotton merino. It feels like wool.
Me again- lol… happy belated bday!! Sounds like you were surrounded by love and appreciation which is most awesome!. I currently want to knit all the things so have cast on 3 new sweaters (and am contemplating a 4th), one shawl, and a pair of socks… oh… yea… and then there might be a one skein shawl cast on in the very ( tomorrow) near future…. Any guess why?😂😂. Happy Stewing and knitting my friend🥰
Love all your makes Linda!! Jealous of your trip to Flock ohh so exciting!! You will all look incredible in your Dotted Rays!!
