- January 1, 2007 - After taking off from Indonesia’s Suribaya airport, Adam Air Flight 574 settles in for the two-hour trip to Manado. But somewhere over the Java Sea, the plane hits turbulence, and air traffic controllers notice the aircraft is hundreds of miles off course… and headed for a major storm. The jet’s navigational systems aren’t working. And the bad weather is closing in. The crew struggle to find their way - when suddenly, flight 574 disappears from radar - 102 people are killed. The investigation uncovers shocking problems with Adam Air - and much of the Indonesian airline industry.

To my knowledge Indonesia has experience so many deadly plane crash since the time of Adam Air. I still pity Adam Air company because the ban to fly to other countries was uplifted and by the time it was removed Adam Air had already gone bankrupt. If there was time, somehow things could have changed

Adam Air did commit violation of many safety standards due to corruption.

Adam Air would never have changed. They were run by absolutely corrupt and morally bankrupt people. It's a shame innocent people had to lose their lives due to sheer incompetence and mismanagement. I'm glad they shut down and I hope such people are never allowed to run an airline ever again.

Jelas disebut semua masalahnya ada di manajemen Adam Air yang kacau bahkan pilot aja kagak di training. Ibarat bagi mereka bisnis aviasi itu kayak bisnis bus malam. Beli pesawat tua tapi kagak di maintain dengan benar yang semestinya gak ada masalah kalau dirawat, serta pilot dianggap pasti bisa kalau udah punya lisensi.

It wasnt that he forgot it, another channeled covered it and mentioned the captain wasnt adequately trained so if you listen to recordings or watch other channels of this incident, you get the impression he is just ignorant and inexperience to even be called a Captain, he went full panic mode and had no training for this
Unfortunately if this if how you would react to stress, you should not be flying an aircraft. Especially when over one hundred people depend on you.
