It’s actually really hard making daeran something other than the oracle hp battery the way the developers set it. Really enjoyed the build, quite cleaver
appreciate it! it was a hard decision with how powerful Oracle is, but I had a lot of requests for a Companion Skald. seemed to fit better on Daeran rather than Ember or Seelah.
I can definitely work on that in the future, currently working on a build for my very first viewer that subbed to me on Patreon! everyone's been helping me out giving me a lot of build suggestions. thanks for watching!
great idea, especially if you're not playing on Turn Based. a lot of the later feats in my builds are definitely interchangeable with whatever perk you prefer!
Dual Wielding Rapier build is my personal preference for Daeran, no matter the class. Especially with a second mystery nature that allows him to not care about his ac, because he's mounted. Skald does fit him somewhat, although Bard would be more thematic.😁
Big fan of how the build ended up! Quick question, would you change any of the feat selection if you made him an Inciter? And also if used in a Trickster party when would you pick up the Critical Feats? I imagine starting from level 15?
Have a question, I am planning on picking inciter skald. When I look at the build I see that LESSER BEAST TOTEM is one of the suggested rage powers. Maybe I don't understand pathfinder that well but I am having a hard time seeing the usefulness of this. Yes it grants claw attacks to the party but that is only useful if one of their hands are free. Considering that very few of my party members have a free hand, I wonder if there is a better option. If you see this could you explain further why you selected this feat? Thanks! Edit: Ah wait I think I might understand. Upon further reading, once you invest in beast totem you are locked into that totem. So by going beast totem you may as well pick lesser because later you will get the greater beast totem which has a bite attack and pounce ability when charging, which is very useful for melee allies.
I just don't really enjoy playing on Unfair to be honest, I've done runs on it but it's a lot of reloading. Hard is the perfect challenge for me, if anyone tries it on Unfair though I'd love to know!
I would've done Inciter but I didn't want to leave out people that didn't have the DLC. I guess I could've went one of the archetypes... sorry about that

Thanks. Glad to see something different than Oracle that is viable.
no problem, thank you for watching!
Loving these builds. Very nice to see fully updated builds. Do you think you could do a Swarm-that-walks build at some point?
appreciate it! I definitely will do one at some point, should be getting back into Pathfinder soon.
Great build dude! I needed a skald. I anxiously await the rest! And a merged angel build as well!
thank you! I will add that to the list of builds to work on for sure.
thank you for these up to date builds!
of course, thank you for watching!
Really cool build!
appreciate it man, welcome back!
Updated Daeran build?? Lets GO!!!
glad you liked it!
Love the description: “Shouldn’t be any more big updates or balance changes” - Owlcat immediately proceeds to release another major patch.
@LightxHeaven true that 🤣 luckily the Gold Dragon patch was mainly focusing on that Mythic Path & bug fixes. not too much was changed.
@@actuallyviz You know what sort of build guide is severely lacking in this space? Gold Dragon builds. Next mission acquired.
@LightxHeaven I'll definitely try to get one out! you shouldn't have to wait long before other TH-camrs start pumping them out as well.
@ Yup. Looking forward to your continued update of the companion builds too. Like what I’ve seen so far so keep at it! :)
Well, I taught you forgot about us already 😀 Thanks for the new video .
🤣 welcome back my friend, turns out I didn't have all my settings back to normal & took me a bit longer.
@actuallyviz great to have you back. Hope to see more videos soon 🙂
Thanks!

This will combine nicely with my Mad Dog , plus Crazy Shot Wenduag.
We need those evil memebers for our rage 😂
Awesome build as always bro if you have time me and my pals would love to see an assimar angel tank build😁😁😁😁
I can definitely work on that in the future, currently working on a build for my very first viewer that subbed to me on Patreon! everyone's been helping me out giving me a lot of build suggestions. thanks for watching!
Thanks for this! Have you got a Nenio build that might combine well with this and the greater snap-shot Wendu too, by chance?
no problem! I will definitely have a Nenio build coming.
nice
I'm swapping improved initiative at 19 for extra rage power to increase everyone's crit multiplier! seems better for me-improves him as well.
great idea, especially if you're not playing on Turn Based. a lot of the later feats in my builds are definitely interchangeable with whatever perk you prefer!
Hey, do you more BG3 and Pathfinder builds coming?
definitely! was having pc/audio issues & haven't been playing Pathfinder/BG3 lately but will be again soon.
@actuallyviz hope it improves soon, looking forward to it
Why my skald only appear magic skills to take i choose Skald the base one and dont show the first talent for you to me too
Dual Wielding Rapier build is my personal preference for Daeran, no matter the class. Especially with a second mystery nature that allows him to not care about his ac, because he's mounted. Skald does fit him somewhat, although Bard would be more thematic.😁
true that, personally I would've done a Bard as well but I had a lot of requests for Skald! Oracle is very powerful, the devs did a good job there.
Big fan of how the build ended up! Quick question, would you change any of the feat selection if you made him an Inciter? And also if used in a Trickster party when would you pick up the Critical Feats? I imagine starting from level 15?
@jellybunz8357 for Inciter I would grab Dispelling attack & maybe Wearying Strike! As for Trickster Critical Feats I would definitely rush those asap.

Could I swap out rapiers for scimitars?
I don't believe so because they aren't finesse weapons, you'd have to find different finesse weapons because Daeran has really bad strength!
@@actuallyviz Gotcha. Any good alternate weapons choices? I'm giving my best rapiers to Cam.
@@Yobolight I think Daggers or Estocs would be your best bet!
Why dont you test your builds in unfair, like the ones like this one seems capable. Maybe you can take lunge and charge before enemy attacks
I just don't really enjoy playing on Unfair to be honest, I've done runs on it but it's a lot of reloading. Hard is the perfect challenge for me, if anyone tries it on Unfair though I'd love to know!
Unfair seems like a chore for me, but for everyone, it's own. 😊
Just normal skald? Ew...
I would've done Inciter but I didn't want to leave out people that didn't have the DLC. I guess I could've went one of the archetypes... sorry about that
@@actuallyviz But if you were picking Inciter, what you would change?
@syzzle342 for Inciter I would grab Dispelling attack & maybe Wearying Strike!
