  • I've always appreciated the Honda CR-V for its blend of classic Honda design, its great engines, and the roomy and modular interior. The sixth generation is all about electrification, though, at least in Europe, and the new plug-in hybrid model is the most interesting new addition. But do I like it?

This is exact concept Mitsubishi's Outlander PHEV 2023+ more refined and smooth one gear engine which is already in market before honda phev and not sure why everyone hypes HONDA as if they uniquely invented !

      That's actually a good point...

I like the fact that the physical buttons are there and placed well. I hate Tesla.

Physical buttons are the best. However, if there's one manufacturer that got touchscreens right in cars, it's Tesla. I have a review of the new Model 3 coming up and I talk more about this topic in the video.

I wish Honda brought this to the US. Instead, they decided to give us (1) a regular hybrid variant, and (2) a hydrogen fuel-cell variant. The second variant makes absolutely no sense since we don’t prioritize hydrogen as a primary fuel source.
At the same time, nerfing the PHEV CRV to only be FWD is such a missed opportunity, when we get AWD with Mitsubishi’s Outlander PHEV, Toyota’s RAV4 Prime, Jeep’s Grand Cherokee 4xe, and Kia’s Sportage PHEV.
Speaking as a Honda Clarity PHEV owner btw.

The hydrogen variant is being sold just because Honda can and has the technology-they wanted a follow-up for the Clarity FCV, I guess.
I think you're better off with the all-wheel drive hybrid TBH. I wouldn't pick the FWD-only PHEV over it even with the electric-only range that it offers. The hybrid is a better, easier car to use and it's still remarkably efficient.
What is the Clarity PHEV like? I've never known anybody who drives one.
      Thank you for your comment!

You can use AA without cable but you have to know how.

      How?

@@OneTireFire, it must be activated in the hidden menu (only CarPlay is wireless by default). Hold home+power+previous and seaech in Detailed Information and Setting. Do it once and it works forever. I don't understand why it comes from the factory with the AndroidAuto setting via cable.
There are a lot of videos about it on TH-cam - it's the same in Civic and ZRV with this infotainment.
