Incredibly under-rated soundtrack. There's no doom in this track, just a deep sorrow for what has long since been lost. No struggle, no dire need, just a terrible sadness walking amongst the ruins of something that was once great. We all return to dust, it seems..
I feel like Diablo will end very sad. Prime Evils will surely return since they are released once more at the end of RoS. Nephalem will be corrupted. Thus, Diablo and his brothers (Mephisto and Baal) will overcome all the forces of the High Heavens and corrupt every human beign in the end. Azmodan and Belial will rebel against Diablo but eventually they will surrender to him.
I was wandering in the snowy ruins, searching for something that could allow me to see into myself. Half-hearted I was stumbling from one old, dark room to the next, crossing once glorious archs and gates, finding nothing but the mere phantoms of imagined laughter, the merry cheering of drunk men, the crackling of distant fires... And a broken statue of a man on the side of a road, holding a double-edged axe in his remaining arm. It must have been sculped upon a grave, as I saw a plate, possibly a nameplate in front of his feet. I couldn't pick out the unknown symbols, but his name wouldn't have had any importance by that time anyway. The statue just stood there, his glare wouldn't let mine go. How did he die? What kind of a life did he have? Did he fight many great battles, did he fall by the sword? But more importantly, did he build glory in the name of his people, did he love? What would have he done in life, had he not died before achieving those goals? Would have he embraced his wife, his children? His friends next to the bonfire? These are nothing, but empty questions now. And he's nothing, but an empty stare of stone, a lifeless copy of himself timelessly standing upon his buried bones, someone whose name cannot be read anymore, as not a living soul could interpret the etchings on his plate. A forgotten soul, a lifeless phantom of glory. Like he didn't even exist. Nothing is left of him, no belongings, no kin, no great stories, not even his name, nothing, but a shapy weight of gray stone and the snow settled on its shoulders.
The Children of Bul-Kathos of sescheron and harragoth fought with their honor and valor to protect the worldstone and Mount Arreat i wish was there to help them.
At least D3 has one track that draws me into the game world. This theme should be a town somewhere though. It doesn't make a good action theme. Most of the D3 bgm doesn't.

Beautiful description of a masterpiece.
This was well stated. Gives everyone a reminder of the finality we all face.
@@ExecutorNralYour prediction/prophecy for this franchise was true. Look at Diablo 4.
This track is the epitome id “We won….But at what cost? “ energy.

Damn, that was powerful. Well done, good sir.
This could be the soundtrack of a sci-fi movie.
AWESOME! Thanks a lot for the upload.

Thanks for the cut. Does it have to be unlisted though?
Not really, made it open.
