As a result the media it is not always clear if the virus helped speed up the process. The media will scare you again with other coronaviruses etc that normally make up the winter flu. As with a lot of illnesses, most people dying are the already vulnerable - frail elderly, obese. Not many people are catching the harshest form of covid19, and even fewer that catch covid even die from it

People’s memories are short. It’s too difficult for voters to connect with and care about things they don’t even remember for the events to have an impact on the election.
Trump’s attacks on Clinton worked because most older voters still remember Bill Clinton’s presidency. People who are old enough to remember Biden’s blunders are a very small percentage of the electorate. Attacks on his past won’t stick.

Sure, I understand. I appreciate the discourse. I think you’re wrong, if you do the math, my statement isn’t a contradiction. People’s political memories begin around 18 or later, so if you add it up, the only people who would have been politically cognizant at the time Biden made his blunders are now 50+. That’s an important demographic but it’s also constantly in churn, with new people who don’t remember the past coming in and those who do dying.
And to your point that Biden is making current blunders, I agree. He made one yesterday just after I wrote this comment. He flip-flopped on his 40-year stance on abortion. Huge mistake. His running Left during the primaries will destroy his credibility among moderates.

I love how NYT glosses over the fact that he's often very handsy with young girls...
I mean, it was only a three-minute video. A ten-minute video probably would have had a lot more focus on that. They probably just wanted the video to be short, and not some full-on complete background story of Joe Biden. Besides, they glossed over most of the things they were saying, which is why I think it has more to do with the amount of time they wanted the video to be than what they actually believe in. Personally, though, I agree that they should have spent a bit more time on that, even in a short video.
