Salve Valentina. Love your videos. Heading back to Puglia (Bari, Polignano a Mare, Matera) in a couple of weeks (love it there!). Was quarantined in Polignano for 11 extra days at the beginning of 2022 and vowed to return (my family comes from Bari). I watch your videos every day to brush up on my so-so Italian (my father came to the U.S. when he was 10, but we didn’t speak much Italian in my house). I’ve become more conversational in a few months than I have in a couple of years of more formal instruction. Grazie mille!

Ciao Valentina, I have been watching many of your videos and they are very good. I am struggling with the new format. The old videos had you talking to us and it made me focus on what you were saying as we humans like to see a face! plus you explained the situation and how you enunciated the words helped with my pronunciation. The new format is just words, so feels more like reading a book and it is a bit fast. Maybe it is designed for more advanced speakers? Grazie

All videos trying to teach phrases ignore the fact that even if one prints the conversations in the video (or any books of same method), one encounters many varieties of answers by the natives, rendering any such teaching conversations useless

How would you say you're allergic to shellfish?
"Sono allergico/a a" is how we say "I'm allergic to", then add "i crostacei" for shellfish, so: "Sono allergico ai crostacei"
