I Combined Two Of The Worst Randomizer Settings

- I wanted to try out a new setting of the Hollow Knight Randomizer, randomized benches. This of course didn't sound like enough on its own, so I also turned on enemy randomizer for the first time in a good while. Enjoy the resulting chaos!

I wish there was a mod where every bench had a Crystal Guardian sitting on it... AND YOU CAN'T CHEESE IT
This, but benches in harder areas have enraged guardians
Oh god yes! Someone dev this please
it would be fun at the start but both normal and enraged guardians are pretty easy once you have dash (even without cheesing) so it would just be annoying for the rest of the game

Grimm really went "fuck you" and then turned into Nightmare King Grimm
But he respects the knight, so stands there like a chad and takes all the hits to the face before declaring it a fair fight and starting to hit back.

@Sweet Detective Starkins instead of Grimm spawning, since it was an enemy randomizer, nkg spawned by pure chance

I love how Grimm even bowed its like Tiso getting crushed by the brooding mawlek. Like hes only here to introduce the real ultra nightmare king. The Collector. Skurry may think they won but it was yet another win in The Collector’s grand plan to overthrow the Pale King, The Radiance, AND the Shade Lord. Truly the final boss of the game.

Collector just going up and not coming back down was great. I just imagine his insane laughter slowly fading away as he goes up
It’s funny but it is somewhat problematic in enemy wave rooms. Collos are awful as if the collector spawns you just have to restart as he’ll never come back. It still is funny though at least.

For having done a couple of bench + room randos myself, it honestly doesn’t change up the gameplay that much. Room rando is already nearly impossible to navigate using the map mod, so changing up bench placements doesn’t make it crazier. It just makes it annoying when you don’t have a good bench that’s close to dirtmouth, lol

I an item sync room rando with a group with this bench mod on plus full journal entries and a few other things and it was CHAOTIC. We ended up getting all going for all checks and due to having everything but weathered mask turned on in the true journal rando we had to do asc hog in order to complete the hunters journal in order to get left claw so we could get the like last 10 checks.
I call that mode: “Shit Just Happens, Man.”

I thought the actual benches were going to be in random locations, rather than just their unlock. I guess that might get complicated with shop inventories
they are in random locations, though only a set of predetermined ones instead of complete random places. unless i misunderstood

I like how the sad soul twister is a reoccurring character in this randomizer
Lore: Myla got infected, but she learned the jelly technique from Monomon to encase the infection in the jelly. Then she traveleved to Deepnest but got killed due to unexpected circumstances.
The lack of Silksong is leading to Hallownest's timeline and map fracturing into countless pieces.

The bee knight and the hive knight being siblings who fight to the death every time they meet is just dmc
The best part of this was Hive Knight repeatedly showing up to challenge you, only to be ignored or defeat himself every single time.
hive knight was killed only once, but your mind can't stop feeling the guilt, so you see him time and time again
Skurry: kill never wins so let's rig the poll slightly

1) You can only equip Hiveblood
2) All bosses are 2 Hive knight, unless there’s 2 bosses, where it’s 3 or 4. (mantis lords will be hell, since there’s either 5 or 6 hive knights)
3) All enemies in the game are bees
4) Skurry wears a bee skin again
5) You have to grind bees to win

The lore and luck is on point this video. Like, all the scripted bee fights, the tale of vengeance of a big brother against a little brother. There's all the hot deals with Cornifer and the other vendors. And that moment when Grim turns into NKG for a fight and then turns back once the dance is over. Seamless.
The only thing that could've made this run more perfect is if Sheo dropped Lurien instead of Mato, because they're both painters.
