Because they write catchy riffs AND come back to them within a song to make it memorable. Even in this song, they introduced the main riff, expanded on it, then reintroduced a variation of it as a breakdown at the end. There's a structure to latch onto. Most tech death change riffs every 3 seconds and never repeat a riff in a song - yes it's progressive and 'tech', but dunno how anyone is supposed to remember that.

Today I learned of this group and this song on XM while grabbing my kids up from school. Five hours later I was on my way to the hospital in an ambulance after someone smashed into me on the highway on my way to work. Totally ruined basically everything I have going for me. Same here.
True masters of their instruments. This is pure gold. 🤌
At the 0:35 mark when Spencer goes POP-POP-POP-POP on the snare, I feel like I'm going down the first drop of a rollercoaster EVERY TIME!! Gives me chills...🤘💀🤘
Spencer is nothing but a beast!!!!!
His snare tone is sublime
The musicianship and skill of this band is second to none. And the vocalist, holy crap man, the dude can sing a thousand words a minute.
My favorite TH-cam video of all time is Oli’s Calamus karaoke video. But this is #2!!
Even just listening to the 20 second trailer I have that fucking riff stuck in my head all day.
I'm prepared.
New Shadow of Intent, Ingested with Surreption II, new Cradle of Filth, new Jinjer AND now Archspire dropping the payload.
This entire past week has been a ride and a half.
i misread that and thought new Soreption was coming. That would be a true holy f moment. But new Jinjer is amazing indeed.
New Rivers of Nihil as of a couple days ago, too! And new First Fragment! Been a great month already!
and Inferi!
Cognizance dropped a new single as well as Obscura. It’s been fucking insane!
As a life long fan of 41 years in death metal and deathcore archspire is no doubt the best death metal act ive ever heard
2:38
Ethical muffins, Ethical muffins :D
I must confess I thought "I can play this" the first 5 seconds
Covering Archspire should be an Olympic event
The best 21 seconds this year! Even better than my 22 seconds one night stand
😂🤣
22 seconds? Master, teach me your ways.
That's a Beautiful Brutal Cover your album has guys! The music is also 10/10 as always!
I just dropped my beer......finally something worthy.
How have these guys not won EVERY award by now
I am wondering how do people with mad fucking skill find each other to create bands like this?
Just when you think they cant top what they did previously...lets go again wow amazing!!!!
Not going to lie when I first heard it I was a bit underwhelmed and thought I wouldn’t care for this album. This song though…..this song has not only really grown on me but I’m im really excited to hear the rest of the album.
Same here wasn't a fan of the basic chugging at first. Still not...but blasting thru surround sound vs in a truck changed my mind enough to like it.
@@justifiedrampage dont hate on the chugging man. Chugs make it heavy asf
@@BuckingFuffalos69 It makes it sound like cannibal corpse. It's not archspire. It sounds like shit
Thought it was kinda cheesey at first, but it's definitely grown on me.
This is one of the dopest metal songs I’ve ever heard
Holy fuck,......... The snare and bass drum hits on the middle'?????? Wow,......crunchy ass blast beats, phenomenal guitar, absolutely amazing song
I really liked how that bass line translated so well to the guitar solo that was really impressive actually
Yes! Album of the year. Guaranteed.
Haha, called it!!!!
Today I learned of this group and this song on XM while grabbing my kids up from school. Five hours later I was on my way to the hospital in an ambulance after someone smashed into me on the highway on my way to work. Totally ruined basically everything I have going for me. This is the first place I came to after everything settled and I am alone with a medicine and peace. I thank these guys more than I could ever thank them. I've been a part of heavy music since, I guess, birth. This was and very much still is next level mastery. Thank you. I really don't like today but the music always does something to help.
16 years listening to metal but this is the best fucking band I ever heard!
I’m a 50 + year old metal head and I have been getting more into extreme styles of metal lately. This band is so extreme in so many ways it’s almost too over the top but I appreciate the musicianship here. I remember when Pantera was considered pretty extreme, lol.
Don’t get me wrong. Pantera is still one of my all time favorite bands, the music they created when Dime and Vince were alive anyway!
Was listening to Pantera earlier tonight and now here. Small World 😁🤘🍻
Outstanding. I love how each member gets their own color. Spencer finally gets a proper showcase. Jared's bass sits well in the mix. Dean and Tobi with the absolutely disgusting riffs. Oliver has outdone himself. Claire did an amazing job capturing this performance. Merch preordered. Now we just need Good Morning Handsome to come back!
Also Dave Otero the tech death legend for making it sound mint AF
Was Claire the videographer?
@@isaiahgrandt5305 Yep! She's listed in the credits if you expand the details on the video. Also directed/edited by Dean.
I thought Spencer always had a proper showcase
What's Good Morning Handsome?
I think that an unspoken rule of death metal is that the less hair you have, the more strings your guitar needs to have to compensate for it.
I'm not even kidding, I've been sick since Monday and my 1 nostril has been leaking. During this song it stopped. You guys have cured my sickness! Thank you!
I'm 2 years behind, but Archspire has really blown me away! Just incredible from ALL members. There isn't one who stands about above the rest, they all are so incredibly technically skilled, so tight, and everything just fits together so well. It's absolutely amazing!
Every man in the band is shredding! I can't believe I could live until now without this 🥹🙂↕️😲
i haven’t actively paid attention to any album drop in my life but you guys have me checking every day
just a whole nother level... unmatched!!. not just technicality... I want to break everything around me!
As per the guitars in the intro and break down - OUI OUI
Duuuuuddee soooooo good! You guys managed to innovate and grow your sound without betraying that signature sound we all love. as always the technical musicality is on point. STAY TECH. love you guys
this
Amazing! I'm a metal head from the 80's and I'm always looking for something fresh and different and you guys are it! STP and Archspire are my best new finds of the decade. Just ordered the new lp on limited edition colored vinyl and cant wait to receive it. Keep it up and I hope someday you guys make it to Florida.
Veteran's souls never ages!
Kudos :3
I’m probably just baked af cause I’m sure everyone else has noticed by now but the artwork for Bleed The Future is literally the golden mouth of ruin. Fucking noice 👌👌👌👌
such a clean mix, such crazy skills from all the musicians....damn that s out of this world
Rap technical death metal
Omg this shit is amazing
This song is sick! You just raised the bar for technical death metal.
The best song of 2021 by far
