Correction.. They are “one” of the most technical bands in existence. I love Archspire but saying there the most technical in existence is not true. It’s music, not a competition. Don’t forget about:

Basically there are many great technical bands with different styles. I’m 40 years old and have been playing Guitar and Drums for 25+ years. I mainly play Tech Death so I know the technicality involved with Archspire and yes they are Freaking Excellent. EXTREMELY TALENTED and I have mad respect for them but to say they are the most technical in existence? No. When you think your the best or someone else is the best at something there is always people out there who can match it or exceed it.
Bultron La Gore, neither of those are more tech than archspire tbh

@pudendalneuralgia Few of them got popular because they were indeed Good, most of them are just popular for playing Trendy or Catchy stuff that resonates with the common people, nobody theses days knows to appreciate Actual insane musicianship.
i love "real" videos like this because they kill any idea i might have had of being in a touring band, which is a good thing in case you fetishize that lifestyle. my biggest problem would be the inability to sleep in a moving van, bundled together with another dude in a highly cramped space.
It's definitely not for everyone.

Touring definitely isn't for everyone. I couldn't personally do it.

I support these dudes any way I can. They fucking deserve it and more. Obviously they dont tour for the comfort, money, or fame, they do it because their music is amazingly tight, extreme and they need to share it with whoever wants to hear it. Iron Maiden have their own 747. Archspire have "Beepus". But once upon a time Iron Maiden were pushing their own "Beepus" uphill in a fucking snowstorm while smelling like old cheese, dirty socks, beer and farts. You never know where life will take you.
