Words cannot express the size of the smile that came across my face when this song played in the final battle. SOAD is my 2nd favorite band of all time and Serj's voice makes me unreasonably happy. This soundtrack is absolutely incredible and it was so heartbreaking when I heard this game didn't win best soundtrack at the Game Awards.
Of course it didn't, it's metal. What were you expecting? I expected nothing else. You see, us metal heads are all seen as satanic worshippers. Well, some of us probably are but what can we expect...
Leitmotifs may be a no brainer but god damn if they dont do it for me every time. Elden Ring did the same thing with one of its bosses and it ALWAYS gives me the chills.
This song made me buy the game. Finishing the game made me listen to this song. Now I want to play again. AAAHHHHH, we need a sequel! The game, all the music, I can't stop headbanging.
As much as it pains me to say it, Serj has truly outgrown SOAD. I'd still love a new album from them, but he really has progressed on to his own level.
I wouldn't say he's outgrown soad, that band is still absolutely fucking epic, just a shame that the band couldn't work out the differences and Serj since then hasn't really done much metal since then which is such a shame.

Fan-fucking-tastic game. Short, but sweet and I already am thirsty for more! I think they set up a possible sequel pretty well! The final boss with this music... holy shit! One of the most intense, most fun boss I've ever played. To be fair, Icon of Sin in Doom Eternal felt a bit disappointing but this one... OMG... Just amazing! 100% focus all the time to beat her. Did it on my first try and not many game gave me that satisfaction as this one beating a boss. I think it's time for Heaven!!! Give them hell!
THIS SOUNDS LIKE CLASSIC SOAD WITH THE AMOUNT OF SCREAMS THERE ARE BRO WENT FROM 0 TO 100 also kicking The Red Judge's ass to this song gave me so much adrenaline, I SWEAR I went feral
@@Mummyfr Attack would probably be in my list, but Mez/Hypno took a little bit of a notch down from the aggressive extreme sound as opposed to STA, Toxicitu, SOAD etc. But that doesn't disreguard them in their own right. @@zeening How is it goofy when it's the consensus among the large majority of SOAD fans? Serj's upper register approach and consequently tone have completely changed over the years. Not only does he rarely ever distort his voice, but he's much more reliant on head voice than chest, giving him a super nasal timbre. His voice now doesn't compare at all to the versatility and power he had back in the Toxicity era.
Just got the platinum for this yesterday, as a metal fan it’s a must buy. I sincerely hope this is successful enough to warrant a sequel, with a bigger budget it’d be epic. My only complaint honestly would be the lack of variety, only one song plays for the entirety of a level, and when they all have the same beat tempo up until No Tomorrow they all have a similar feel. The music is the fucking standout for sure, even after getting the plat I’m still playing it, it’s that fun. I recommend supporting it at retail, 40 bucks is not bad at all for the product here. Fun factor is where it shines
@@spiderjerusalem8505 yeah but at its core it’s a rhythm game so over complicating it might make the core gameplay too difficult to focus on. If there were more than 8 levels then I would agree but I think it’s fine where it is.

I've got many, many emotions from that song. The moment with "i've live my life for you" feels very like Paz encouraging Unknown. Very nice thing that through whole song can be heard main menu theme's leitmotiff like this song is REALY a clash of two strong entity. And the moment when Serj start singing himself said melody? Felt so intense with such fury than even metal would bleed, like long and hard fight taking its toll on both sides of fight with finaly winning the melody of Unknown despite how hard it is to continue to fight Judge despite she is also on het last stand. I have yet to play the game but just listening to this song i think i got a good feeling how the fight goes ingame!
Metal community: "Yaaa, doom is good, but i like this" Singing the notes from the main menu theme at the end is WOW Makes you shake your head to the beat of the song. So hard to shoot
yea i had the headbangig 'problem' too :'D it helps with the rythm but man its hard to aim like that x'dd but its a win - win situation even if you die ^^
Just picked up the game because I saw his face as a featured artist. This goes soooooo much harder than I could've imagined. Can't wait to get playing tomorrow night!
Idk about that, the rights and the band are from two feathers (the composers of the game by the developer), they can do a cover technically, but time will tell.

Words cannot express the size of the smile that came across my face when this song played in the final battle. SOAD is my 2nd favorite band of all time and Serj's voice makes me unreasonably happy. Addicted to this song. his voice is still so good for metal. fire song
Serj going back to some of his roots. The inhales and the scream at the end gave goosebumps. Serj still has some energy left from his intense days.
When i was playing and saw his name at the top left i went absolutely nuts.
My favorite singer ever.
This song made me buy the game. Finishing the game made me listen to this song. Now I want to play again. AAAHHHHH, we need a sequel! The game, all the music, I can't stop headbanging.
I feel like we’re gonna get a sequel because of the ending, god it was a amazing game and glad serj finally came back and the last level too
5:04 That voice that is heard in the background accompanies the song perfectly, a beautiful part.
As much as it pains me to say it, Serj has truly outgrown SOAD. I'd still love a new album from them, but he really has progressed on to his own level.
I wouldn't say he's outgrown soad, that band is still absolutely fucking epic, just a shame that the band couldn't work out the differences and Serj since then hasn't really done much metal since then which is such a shame.
just wait until you hear him with tech n9ne
If this song was ever deleted from TH-cam, I’m deleting the app. This song is majestic
I was waiting for this song the whole time, then i realized they probably made it the final boss OST, wasn't wrong and wasn't dissapointed, what a send off, Great Game with a Great Soundtrack.

I just finished it, easily an 11/10. Exhilarating, amazing soundtrack plus something new with Serj. 👌
OMG... @@halodestroyer442 ROFLMAO you called him a pog, oh that was good& i agree
@@zeening How is it goofy when it's the consensus among the large majority of SOAD fans? Serj's upper register approach and consequently tone have completely changed over the years.

Fun factor is where it shines
>lack of variety

@@Pingevin1, he probably meant weapons and enemies.
@@spiderjerusalem8505 yeah but at its core it’s a rhythm game so over complicating it might make the core gameplay too difficult to focus on. If there were more than 8 levels then I would agree but I think it’s fine where it is.

Ah yes, the HD version I've been waiting
5:04 the best part, love that "nothing can´t stop us now" phrase.
Resonates so well with the player and the two protagonists. It's so uplifting and epic!
This is how much I love Serj, he can literally just song LA LA LA over and over again and that's the most metal thing in the world to me.
ever since the trailer that had this music dropped, I've been painfully waiting for the full song
The first 25 seconds are just
This is how you do final boss music.
"Nothing can stop us now
We’ll never cease to be
And you will never know
You’re HELL TO ME!"
lives rent free in my head, and sometimes i sing it without the song in the background
"Her music is my music, and my voice is her voice."
its more like both the judge and paz. it was both of their plan and waited an eternity for her, its just that they forgot
Metal community: "Yaaa, doom is good, but i like this"
Singing the notes from the main menu theme at the end is WOW
Makes you shake your head to the beat of the song. So hard to shoot
yea i had the headbangig 'problem' too :'D it helps with the rythm but man its hard to aim like that x'dd but its a win - win situation even if you die ^^
I'm not a Metal fan; more of a Classicalhead myself. But wow, this range... from sweet to monstruous, to deep to piercing. Incredible.
Serj Tankian : "Da da da da da"
The Unknown : "so anyway i started blasting"
Does anybody else loop the part after the "You're hell to me" scream? That ending is emotional
It's one of my favourite parts of the song, tbh.
Makes sense, since that parts essentially plays during the "Last Stand" as I'll call it from the final boss. It's a hell of a way to end the game.
Just picked up the game because I saw his face as a featured artist. This goes soooooo much harder than I could've imagined. Can't wait to get playing tomorrow night!
I hope Serj performs this with SOAD.
I would love to hear Daron doing backing vocals, or rhythm vocals with Serj.
Idk about that, the rights and the band are from two feathers (the composers of the game by the developer), they can do a cover technically, but time will tell.
Hearing the main theme of the game in the final boss always sends me every time.
Hearing Serj singing in that context pushed me further.! This entire game and soundtrack was way too much [and more] my metalhead heart.

this song is almost like poetry. Almost like the red judge is trying to portray to unknown, after regaining her memories, that this is all some sick way of protecting her.
I also think there is grounds for the theory that this is, at least partly, a love song from Paz to Unknown. From one singer to another, as anothercomment said, "the one song he loved to sing."
