Very nice channel! I love your recipes! This is an amazing soup 🌰! Thank you for explaining how to peel the chestnuts! I just made it and it came out wonderful! Thanks again and Happy Holidays! 🎄
I love chestnuts, and now know another way to cook them - thank you! I didn't know the ones in the store may be Chinese...I remember a long time ago sitting among the Chestnut trees in a grove in Italy, it was magical.
This is great, I don't even cook, I'm terrible at cooking but this video is so relaxing and pleasant to watch it makes me want to learn cooking just to try your recipes. Really great.
I make chestnut soup at least once a year. It’s an impressive, delicious taste to serve at dinner parties. They sell prepared chestnuts in a vacuumed sealed pouch in certain grocery stores and on Amazon, and they taste great.
Oh I'm aware. The message is chestnuts vary in size and you'll get a larger yield from larger nuts. They're rare in the US (where 90% of my audience is) as we had chestnut blight, and almost everyone will have to buy them. The fact that there's different types and sizes isn't common knowledge for the general public and will be helpful for a lot of people.
@@cb320 Chicken stock will taste better but it’s fine to make it vegan using vegetable stock. You’ll also need to use coconut milk or a dairy substitute.

Here in Europe we have tons of variety saying Italian chestnut is like saying American apples
