- In today's video I will be showing you how I assembled my immigration packet. Please watch the whole video because I will be including a lot of useful tips for how to organize your file and which documents go in it.
Please don't forget to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES on each application.
Also, make sure you do not use staples or hole-punch anything.
Do not combine payments on your G-1450 Forms, since they are for different applications (I-130 and I-485).

Hi Kseniya, I just wanna say my big thank you to you! You helped me a lot in filing concurrently our 130, 485 and 765 from B2/tourist visa to marriage based/USC. We filed on March 10, 2023 and received our approval today, May 4, 2023 for 130 and 485, less than 60 days without interview. I highly recommend your channel, your such a big help! I wanted to come back and thank you for this video. I pretty much followed your organization method when we filed i1765, i485 and i130, in July22. We just received the approval for i765 with no interview. The SS card came 2 days ago and we’re just waiting for the EAD. 🎉 We pray everything else is approved with great ease. But thank you again.

Also, they may allow sticky tabs again, here is a quote from USCIS which was updated on 2/24/2023 for your reference.
“Sticky tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. For easy filing, place the tabs on the bottom of the page, not the side. Note: this is only applicable when submitting filing at a USCIS lockbox location. We recommend that you do not place sticky notes on documents when filing directly with a USCIS service center as that may cause delays in scanning the documents into the electronic database systems.”

Quick ?: when assembling the package and putting the sticky tabs at the bottom ... would you just put them on the 3 main sections or on every single piece of evidence?
Thanks Eva! I personally put a sticky tab on every piece of evidence and labeled it according to what was listed in my cover letter. However, I also saw some people put sticky tabs in sections, such as “form I-130”, “form I-130A”, “supporting evidence for I-130”, “form I-485”, “form I-864”, etc etc. it’s a lot of work and when my file was returned to me originally none of the tabs were there so I don’t even know if it was worth it 🥲🥴 lol! Hope that helps

We are just starting the process & your videos are wonderful. We are pursuing consular processing vs AOS - I know we can’t be alone - any way you could assemble that packet? I’m trying to really figure out for consular processing what I need - if it’s just the I-130 (and I-130a) or if there is more and I can’t seem to find anything. Question: If you cannot add sticky tabs how do you demarcate sections and items? Seems colored pages are not allowed also? UCCIS says "we recommend that you do not:
Hole punch, staple, paper clip, binder clip, or otherwise attach documents to one another" How are all single sided loose papers and supporting docs to be collated together? Can you suggest? Thanks

My wife (US citizen) filed I 130 online for me and I’m sending all the information together now in the packet for I 485, I 865, I 765 and I 131.

you just got a new subscriber. Your videos are really helpful. I do have a question does the documents such as birth certificate that are in a foreign language can be translated for the applicant or beneficiary if they speak, write and read in English. Thanks for the info :)
It’s not recommended to translate your own evidence. Somebody else can translate it (doesn’t have to be a professional translator), but they should then include a sworn statement that the translation is true and they’re proficient in English. citizenpath.com/faq/certified-translation/

In may 2021, my son (us citizen, 21yo) applied for my I-130 online, but we I didn’t know we were supposed to file I-130 and I-485 both at the same time. As of September 2021, they are still actively reviewing the case. May we send the I-485 now? Can I also send the I-765 and I-131? Do you think it's a good idea? Thank you.

Hi Kseniya, also another question, can I file i-765 first and send i-131 separately? uscis released this notice on Feb 2022: To improve efficiency and reduce Form I-765 processing times for Form I-485 applicants, we may separate Form I-765 from Form I-131 filed at the same time. Effective Feb. 1, 2022, when possible, we will adjudicate the request for employment authorization first and, if it is approved, we will issue an Employment Authorization Document without any notation about advanced parole. We will adjudicate the Form I-131 separately and, if it is approved, we will issue an advance parole document.

Hello Kseniya, just another awesome video as usual! I have a doubt regarding i-130 photos. Last week my daughter submitted the i-130 form online. I believe USCIS will call her for an interview so then she will take hear two passport photos and will do her biometrics as well. However, do parents also need to send two photos each for form i-130? Thank you.
Photos are not required for parent petitions

Just because you’re married doesn’t grant you any immigration benefits in the U.S. you still have to declare your relationship to USCIS to provide the reason for immigration. So unless you already have an immigrant visa available to you, you have to begin the process with the petition (I-130). Hope that helps

Thanks for the info. I had a question on how the supporting documents should look in the packet - I know there is a section at the back of the form to list supporting docs - an example of how to fill it out would be so helpful.
Also, another question - I’m on an H1B visa so I assume I don’t need to fill out the I-765 form or the parole one. Would you know if that is the case?
