I submitted my marriage-based green card app 4 weeks ago, had my biometrics appt a few days ago, and just got notice that my EAD card is being produced. I am a Canadian citizen and crossed to the USA via land/car so there was no stamp made on my passport and my most recent I-94 is from 2020. However, my travel history from the I-94 website shows the correct last entry information. Am I a B2 or Waived Through?

You made a slight mistake. Question 30.a and 30.b should not be answered for adjustment of status c(9). Otherwise great video.

Well you’ll obviously have to answer yes or no to those questions. If you’ve never been convicted or deportation proceedings you can leave those blank or put N/A
I'm unsure about question 30 as well, because it states that "If" you entered (c)(8) as your Eligibility Category in Item Number 27, then you should provide the requested information in Item Numbers 30.a - 30.g. So if I entered (c)(9) should I still answer that section?
@@christopherjones1522 I guess you can just leave it blank and put N/A in later sections. It doesn’t really matter
i would highly suggest you call uscis. Please remember this person is not an attorney and even though she give great detail, she won't have enough knowledge to answer all question, and i wouldn't take "it doesn't really matter" as whomever applying can easily get denied, so just call just in case.
@@keekeedavis1704 people don’t always need to call uscis for step by step form instructions. But yes if you have doubts, attempt to contact them or find an attorney.

In question #25 if my wife entered ligally thought B2 visa, but admit date expired before we filed adjustment of status, we still should answare B2 in that field?
a person that enters the United States on a B-2 visitor visa and fails to leave before the expiration date on Form I-94 does not have a valid immigration status. (Note: The duration of stay is dictated by the I-94, not the visa.) The person’s current immigration status in this case is “No Status.” - just wanna share this information I've read coz I have the same question.
Thank you for this video. Question I was approved to my I-360 under religious visa. I have the I-94 number in our visa approval. My children entered here in the US on 2011 and never been back to Brazil because I was studying and got a job. So, should I use the i-94 that was given to us in 2011 or the one in our religious visa?

Hi Kseniya! with regards to Part 2 question #14. SSA has already issued a Social Security card to me (i applied two weeks after my arrival) but i wanted it changed to my Married Name. Should i answer "YES" on this part so SSA can send me a "NEW" card under my married name? Thanks in advance.

Hello Kseniya, great video. The new forms do not allow you to enter "N/A" in several fields such as those for names. Also, you are not allowed to enter "None" on numeric fields. What to do now? Should I provide this kind of info using a black pen?

I was on OPT and it just finished a couple of days ago, I already submitted forms for my marriage visa (I-130, I-485) and the temporary work permit (I-765) and travel visa (I-131) and I got their receipts (forms I-797C, Notice of action). I haven’t receive any approval or anything yet, and I was wondering if I still can work during this time? I am a bit confused on this finishing OPT. I am unsure if I should let the university know about it too or not. I appreciate if you help me particular since I think you had the same change of status.

The i94 website has old passport details. Which passport details should I mention in questions 21-26 ? Old one from i94 website or latest passport? Please advice.

Hey, I’m in the situation I forgot to renew. It takes up to 10 months nowadays but extend as SOON as possible and you get a automatic 180 day extension

They changed a bunch of lockbox facilities around, you’d have to check the direct filing page for this form

Hi Kseniya, I really appreciate for the all informations about green card process. I did concurrently filed for my I-130, I-485 and I-765 documents but USCIS rejected my Employment Authorization documents. They say you need to resubmit your the Work Authorization papers with the I-485 recipt and filling fee form. I was shocked and really upset. Their website says no more filling fee and anything else if you filed with I 130 and I 485 but they rejected. My unlucky experience can help for other people's process that's why I just wanted share it
That is a standard letter, so it doesn’t necessarily mean the fee is what’s the issue. You do not have to pay the fee at this time. Most applicants are able to resubmit it again with the I-485 receipt copy. Make sure everything else in the form is correct

What is the difference between submitting the I-765 "work authorization form" standing alone on H4 for the first time after getting approved I-140 and combined with the I-485 "change of status? What is the advantage for both of them other than the processing time? or there is no difference.

Yes. I think so. The C9 is for adjustment applicant under section 245.

I am on an H1-B visa, and my i-140 is approved. My employer has filed my H1B extension and my spouse's H4 extension and I have received both I-129 and I-539 receipts.

Hi I have a question. on this form I-765 part 2 section 21.b and 21.e. which says most recent passport and expiration date. so If I haven't used my most recent passport then also I have to provide that or as it's about last arrival section so I have to provide the Passport which I have used when I last arrive to USA?
Ok so me and my mother got out interview for Immigrant Visa for USA in Jan 31 and they told me and my mother to fill out I 765 form for me and my mother we both are applicant and while filling that form I got section telling "Contact information , declaration and Signature of the person preparing this application, if other then the applicant" I got confuse in this as I fill mine and my mother I 765 form we form are applicant and we have to prepares form separately so I questions is do I need to fill that selection or what should I do

I think so. You can apply these 3 forms together. Since you file the other 2 forms with 485, you don't have to pay the 131 and 765.

Hello, in case you have a possible idea for this. For Form I-765, I was under K1 from September to December 2022. Will i still be able to use C09 for number 27 Eligibility Category.
Also, should I label "Out of Status" or "Visa Overstay" or "K1" for number 25.

If you married within 90 days of entry and still are in status, you’re still K-1
