The switch on the silver actually toggles clipping modes, one mode is Germanium diode clipping and the other is LED clipping. It's a little annoying to get the volume drop/jump but nobody is going to bend down and flick that toggle mid-song so it should be fine. I like them both for different uses and having both in your board is great if you need a rhythm and lead option should you happen to have a single channel amp or if you just want 2 very different kinds of boost 🤘
They could be clones of clones, you know? J Rockett makes the Archer and The Jeff (based on Beck's Klon.) The Jeff has significantly less mid range. The Tunmus has versions as well. The lower switch position on the Silver Horse uses red LEDs as clipping diodes, different forward voltage than whatever diodes they chose for the up position.
Yep. The toggle switch is to set between 'silver' and 'gold' mode. That is what made me decide to get the silver one. It's still the best boost for my 5150 amp as well as my Marshall DSL, next to a tube screamer and a precision drive for different flavors. Might buy a golden one too though just for fun, these things cost like 20 euros over at AliXpress, that's including shipping, EU VAT and free return if I don't like it lol.
@@orangetumbleweed the Marksman by mosky audio is all 4 klons. The other pedals in the series are brilliant also, I have the Big Fuzz, Transparent overdrive (kot) and the pre amp pedal with selectable tone and 3 different clipping options and 4 modes. Fantastic pedal.
Hey! You should try the mosky b-box and mosky obsessive pedals you will be impressed

Thank you I really enjoy both of them, I Liked Golden Mosky Pedal
Both at once was so good!
Is Billy F. Gibbons using cheap pedals (Mosky and others) ?
No, because he has too much mones and he wants to spend it somehow. If he didn't have money, he would have bought the mosky horses.

The silver with the toggle switch up is the same as the golden.

Golden for me and abd you?
It works much better to use with an already distorted amp like a tube screamer.
Golden Horse 🤘
