    commented under thrabenu's video that backtobasics jeskai with mystic sanctuary is real 😅
    Btw what would you play instead of Tamiyo?

    • @Fenruscloud
      @Fenruscloud  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Tamiyo is really a unique design so nothing comes close. However, before playing tamiyo I played +2 spell pierce +1 narset +1 day’s undoing, so I’d probably play that

      @@Fenruscloud its a question regarding saving money in paper ^^

    Deck looks sweet. I'd like to have the Tamiyos to play in this (as well as in Infect and Ninjas), but I'm in a country with availability limitations. Anybody have a good idea for substitutions in this list?

      Unfortunately there’s nothing quite like it, so I’d probably play narset nr 4, 1 day’s undoing instead and then 2 flex slots.

    Would you concidrr playing 1-2 of the initiative creatures to speed the clock up? Monarch and initiative are nuts together and seems like the clock could be an issue

      I don’t think initiative creatures fit well into the deck as we really want our win con to finish the game asap. Haven’t tried it yet though, so I could be wrong.

    Considering tune the narratives and 1 more wrath of the sky in your build lol?

    • @Fenruscloud
      @Fenruscloud  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I already play 4 wrath (2 main 2 side) so that’s not an option. Tune the narrative is good in modern since the quality of cantrips is low in that format compared to legacy but I don’t think I’d ever want that card in Legacy. We have prismatic ending and swords to deal with the late game so we don’t need energy as fast as modern jeskai control does.

    Wow first game so many bad play patterns... why you cantrip for no reason so early

    • @Fenruscloud

      Because I won the game because of it

    No. Best deck is any deck that plays the frog and force of will. Unfortunately

    • @PapaBlessMTG
      @PapaBlessMTG 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This deck also has force of will and seems that it would eat frogs pretty easily

      While I can see some kind of control deck (such as this deck) being the best choice for a given savvy player (with possibly a positive winrate against Frog), I don't see control becoming the acknowledged top deck of Legacy, as this video's title implies.
      The reason for that is that if this deck were the acknowledged deck to beat, then beating it would be pretty easy. For example, you can build a Tron / Cloudpost deck that goes over the top and beats this. Yeah I see the 2 Back to Basics, no that's not enough against a Tron / Post deck (especially one that's ready for Back to Basics). Or build some other kind of greedy deck that doesn't run 11 removal spells and therefore goes over the top of this and beats this.
      I agree with the person you replied to that some Frog tempo deck will be the top deck post-Grief-ban, if Frog survives the banning of course.
      I also wouldn't underestimate just how good Frog is: people always love to say that they're just going to beat the tempo deck, but often that's hard to do against good tempo players.
      Plus we haven't explored all of the kinds of decks that Frog can go into. I assume you're picturing a Frog deck that just rolls over and dies after you kill two creatures, but someone could build a Frog / Uro deck for instance, or a planeswalker-heavy Frog deck, or a Beans Frog deck, or the Reanimator Frog deck may still be really good, etc.
