What a beautiful video. Seeing everyone gathered in nature and enjoying themselves melts my heart. Being out and connecting is such an important priority. Our Mother is calling us 🌎💜
Thank you for your wonderful videos 🙏 I live in the City 🏙️ and daily I need to visit what I call City nature! A neighborhood park... I must Earth daily, the City overwhelms me. I hope to leave soon ❤
I felt grounded just from seeing the dry stone walls near your property. I must learn the art of building them, I absolutely adore their strength and timeless simplicity.
Me too - I regard them as the bones of the ancestors. Sometimes in the twilight, at dusk, at certain times of the year they can resemble skulls. Beautiful and useful and simple. xx
Thank you Terry I see with pleausure that you are interested in many fields of life It is a pleasure to follow you . We have adopted a dog like yours black and white . Your videos are anti stress. By from Italy.
Wonderful. I was out walking yesterday morning stopped in some woods cooked a hearty breakfast sitting with my feet in the leaf litter how lovely it was. Love and blessings to all the free loving people worldwide 🙏🏴😀❤️
Yes…. Earthing is a wonderful way to regenerate. There is a whole documentary on the science of Earthing as well as a book called, surprisingly enough, “Earthing”. Fascinating.
I have seen the documentary and it really is fascinating and sad when you think what we have done to ourselves over the years. Hopefully people will give it a try xx
Such a lovely, plus informative video; thanks for sharing! The yoga picnic reminded me of an Alberta, Canada herb weekend I went to some years past! There were many herbalists talking & some walking with us to teach the local wild plant medicine! Great groups to be with! I love your gardens, dogs & scenery as well! Blessings to all 🤗💗🇨🇦
Love yoga! I really need to get back to doing it. I have a small canvas print on my wall of a quote from Kahlil Gibran that says "and forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair" makes me smile every time I read it :)
Beautiful. It’s so ironic that I just put a video up on Earthing and then I saw you did one too. I love spreading the word on health, medicinal herbs, earthing etc. we need more of us spreading these words. Have a fabulous week 🤗
I'd like to add that, Earthing , which is so beneficial , can also be done easily in the home . (for the many of us without gardens , or easy access to grass , or parks ..). The bathroom is a good place - taking a shower for instance (connection via ground water ) or just barefoot on the bathroom floor (connected to earth energy via steel and concrete also works ) . Sitting on the toilet (i.e. reading ) with your bare feet on the floor.... Or , connect a metal plate with a grounding wire to your water pipes , and sit comfortably , or stand , with your bare feet on the plate . However , there is no denying that , outdoors , directly connected to the earth , must be the best way. I hope this is helpfull. Very , very usefull video . Thank you.
The picnic looks and sounds lovely! I love the Greyhound at the festival as well. They are such great dogs…but I think all dogs are pretty great. Speaking of dogs have you seen Colette’s new companion Patsy. She is beautiful and you can hear a sparkle in Colette’s voice once again. So happy for them both and I’m sure beloved Jack is looking down with joy as well❤️ Thanks Terri have a blessed week🌹
So many very nice things in your film this week. I am so glad to see that folk in your region are gathering for things such as the 'Yoga Picnic'. Fortunately we have like minded gatherings happening from time to time in this region. When I was younger I used to do a daily yoga routine which kept me fairly limber and grounded. I still do some yoga but not what I should be doing a lot more often. Recently I've been out in the garden picking raspberries, which have been ripening up a few weeks earlier than usual. So far I've picked 24 pounds of berries, with lots more to come over the next few weeks. Last year I managed to pick and freeze (fresh) 36 pounds of raspberries from my garden patch. I've invited several neighbours to come to pick this year as I can't deal with it all and I hate to see those valuable berries dry up and go to waste. So far I've pretty much gathered and dried all the different herbs I'll be using over the next ten months or so. At the 'Yoga Picnic' I couldn't help but notice that one booth with dream catchers. I have a number of dream catchers (homemade) hanging here in my cabin but they are all years old now. This past couple of days I've cut some new willow branches to make a new dream catcher. It seems summer is forging ahead at a great speed. Today, after several days of high heat, we had some torrential rain soak the forest and meadows. I'm happy to have more rain, so is the forest, but so much fell in such a short time one must wonder if climate change will bring more frequent serious weather events. Anyhow, I am enjoying my garden, the bear has shown up again (as usual at this time of year - searching for ants and ripening cherries, etc.), lots of herbs maturing, flowers blooming everywhere, both wild and domestic varieties. I've just cut and dried more Monarda (beebalm), raspberry leaves, red clover, thyme, ground ivy, mints, etc. etc. Such a bounty and so much beauty on this planet. Aren't we blessed! Enjoy July! Cheers!
Wow! You have a lot of raspberries. I had what I thought was a lot, I have eaten most of them and the rest have been finished off by the rain. We are indeed very fortunate to have such abundance and such beauty around us. I think it is a great idea to make a new dream catcher - I imagine it catching all the positive dreams for a peaceful, harmonic future. xx Hope you get your harvest in xx
Hello Terri great video thank you for sharing I do enjoy the sort of event you were invited to speak at, being and meeting likeminded people learning always listening and learning. It's so important for our health, and our environment. Blessings to all the organisers of such events for bringing us all together. Hugs and Blessings to you both.💚🌹
So love how your dogs can wander freely, no leads and straight into the countryside! The Yoga Picnic looks such a wonderful experience - would love to go to that. We feel so fortunate to have a little garden with lots of wild flowers, and also that London has so many parks with more and more wild flowers and no-mow acres, so nature can just be. We always head for one when we're in town. Thank you for all your tips and wisdom 🥰
We had some beautiful Sunshine here two days lol…I was grounding and tidying lol. I made some Dandelion Tinctures…Thankyou . Our daughter is waiting to undergo surgery. She’s doing well now. 😊🌹🌻☘️
Earthing certainly has immense health benefits. I was looking at two knee replacements due to long covid symptoms as my ramped up immune system continued to attack my joints. This went on for over seven months. Could barely walk let alone get up from the ground without assistance. Took six weeks of grounding, then all the inflammation disappeared and the healing took place. I'm now back to running and resistance training with no loss of mobility whatsoever. Thanks for the very informative videos. Much appreciated. All the best.
Wonderful - if you are consistent as you were/are it can be incredible. Thanks for sharing your story and best of luck with your mobility for the future xx
I've had so much anxiety lately. I strained my lavender tincture, and that really helped me relax today. Looking forward to doing yoga and earthing in my garden tomorrow 🪻🌻🌺🌿
I am sorry you are feeling so anxious but you are dealing with it and you are empowering yourself and will overcome it. Enjoy your tincture, earthing and yoga xx
Thank you Danu!!! I just got back from visiting Ireland! What a beautiful and magical place! It felt like home! I learned about the Hawthorne trees, the Tuatha De Naan, Irish dancing, visited the cliffs of moher, Giants causeway, and so many other beautiful places!
Another excellent video full of much needed information - THANK YOU Teri! I just learned about Earthing/Grounding last month and have made an effort to do at least a 15 minute barefoot walk around my yard every morning while it's cool. I also am doing more of my gardening while barefoot. It seems the more I do, the better I like it and the better I feel. There are over 20 published scientific studies about the benefits of Earthing. A gentleman named Clint Ober made this information available to the general public, even though many cultures have known about it for ages. There are a lot of videos on You Tube about it now. The best ones are with Clint. There are also two documentary movies detailing it that are free on You Tube. One is called Earthing and the other is called The Grounded. I highly recommend both of them.
Hello Terry Yes indeed, an great yogi doctor fron N.Delhi, tolled me to walk barefoot even in winter, is excellent for the eyesight ❤. Lots of love to you Adriana
I liked watching all of the multiple activties of the day particularly your explanation around vagus nerve stimulation. What a lovely grassy knoll to plant your feet, dogs loved it too. The windy movement of the leaves behind you while you spoke was a striking additional commentary ..nature provided. thank you.
Thank you Terri for this delightful video! Barefoot is my natural state for 3 seasons of the year, and often in winter I treat myself to a barefoot walk in the snow on a frigid night under the moon and stars. After 2 or 3 minutes my feet become numb and I have to stop but it leaves me feeling so invigorated!! It is funny to see next morning my bare footprints in 6 inches of snow, and my husband thinks I am crazy. But you have to try it to appreciate it! I love the feel of the cold dewy grass early in the morning, and the warm moist garden soil at mid day...there is truly so much to be gained just by going barefoot.
Years ago, my baby was born with deformed legs and feet. We tried all sorts of casts and metal braces her first year. Nothing helped. Then, a dr. told me that now she was walking to take off her corrective shoes and let her go barefoot on the earth. The gravity straightened her legs and hips and corrected her feet. I am a true believer that Mother Earth saved her from being a cripple.
Good Sunday Terri. Loved watching the dogs grounding as you were talking about it! The Yoga Picnic looked like fun. It is wonderful how more and more people are becoming interested in herbs and the old ways - there is hope for this world. Have a great week and see you next Sunday.
Oh that’s Wonderful Terri we’ll be going to ours soon. You’re looking very beautiful Thankyou for the lovely video of your lovely day thanking you and your lovely husband. ❤️🌻🌹☘️
The yoga picnic looked wonderful, thanks for sharing your day, you look so relaxed and comfortable in your body. Earthing is such a simple and powerful healing practice. The soft rain was refreshing.
Terri how exciting the yoga picnic sounds plus to have you as a speaker. I walk around bearfoot in & trough out my gardens and pathways to re charge my batteries. Take in all smells and sight of nature. Until next week.i hope everyone has a great stress less week 💚🍀
Lovely looking event Teri! I have an increasing interest in Polyvagal theory and how it connects to our nervous system which in turn can govern our state of being, and health! This stuff should be taught in schools!
Whow, that was refreshing and relaxing, I do so hope that the yoga picnic grows bigger every year for you all.i was very touched seeing the little girl sitting painting, very delightful. Terri as always I love the greens of your gardens, you blended in wonderful ly with your different greens.those dear dogs love their garden too..I may look into a local yoga, I find lot of movement s very painful, its a real pest, osteoarthritis, and fibromyalgia ect,,so I would bit of the ones that could help, I'm not dwelling but I used to walk miles every day, also to get shopping, dog walking over the would s ,coombe ect,and very active at home, since I had couple bouts of pneumonia and a cancer, im not me anymore, but I'm so happy to be here and to be able to watch some wonderful yutube goodness ,very helpful 😊, and well done to you and loll,I don't know why I had tears with tge music and with the people singing the song, I wasn't sad just felt emotional..Well Terri and your family, aand anyone who reads ,have a wonderful Sunday no matter the weather,,love and thankyou hugs, from South west, uk,xx
Big hugs and lots of love to you Hetty. I understand that it is difficult to get back to oneself after an illness. Very gentle exercise can be difficult at first but can also relieve pain and stiffness. Wishing you well xx
I love your videos, I’m looking forward to seeing the next update. It’s so helpful, and gives a sense of warmth, loving energy in my heart. Thank you so much 🫶🏼💕💚
Good morning Terri 🌱☀️ This was lovely to watch and listen to. Thank you for continuing to speak of the simple practices that can bring comfort and healing. You are appreciated🕊
Good morning Terri and Lol: Thank you for the view of the horse the doggies and the beautiful fairy-ies living in your garden!!! Amazing yoga picnic! Nice to hear the wind, I love the wind! Thank you so much for your kindness and for sharing your wisdom!!!!!!! Loving Blessings to you all!
Goodmorning terri, I'm so happy to see your new film,oh my goodness and delightful garden girls 🐔 ,dogs too.hmm!perfect Sunday morning watch for me with a cup of tea,.windy sunny Sunday at the moment, probably rain shortly, 😊.im going to watch and listen now,😊xx
I loved the video! Thank you for the tips! I live in Toronto 🇨🇦 but I always find a green space to do my grounding in the decent months of the year. I struggle when the cold comes sadly.
Well I am a little more fortunate as we rarely get as cold as you and I find that after a few minutes of freezing, my feet begin to feel warm again. Not sure what I would do in your neck of the woods though.... xx
In our small glorious part of the world we have a similar gathering called Soul Sunshine Festival…and it does exactly that❤️ Thank you Terri and blessings.
I always look forward to hear from you every Sunday .I really enjoyed the talk on earthing and vagus nerve .We have a sand paddock down our back yard .and that is were I am going to do my earthing......Thank yo u this is my Sunday relaxation you are so calm to listen to
Good Morning! What a wonderful informative video. I need to ground more good reminder. Never knew that was called block breathing. I learned that from a doctor almost 40 years ago to help me control an asthma attack. (Food additive allergies that caused them)
So happy to find your site, and learn from your wisdom..Thank you for sharing. I’m living in Woolwich Maine, in the woods with the coastal shores in my backyard.. Your site is filled with so many wonderful things for living simply and healing our bodies and mind. Much gratitude and love for you, your lovely dogs and beautiful chickens..❤️
How much fun the festival looks! As your clouds were coming in we are having thunder storms in Oklahoma. They so energize me. Really do enjoy them. So good to see you this morning.
Hi again , I do not know what I did, sometimes I make things dissappear in the computer but it is not on purpose. Yes I would like to visit Ireland. This year I will go to Zante a Greek island with my nephew and sister=in-law. I love wind!!! Whenever there is a storm I am outside charging my batteries, I guess... I see when I can take more time off and visit Ireland ...Just hoping...!!! THANK YOU😃
The Yoga Picnic seems like a great idea and currently looks something like how Glastonbury started but look what happened with that. I think I prefer the smaller version! I bet John Lennon was smiling at that rendition of his song.
Thank you so much for sharing your way of living and giving some of us a positive safe new direction and way of thinking for a much better living. I must say from the heart watching your videos give me CALMNESS.
Hi Terri 🤗 Thank you for addressing the vagus nerve. I've spinal and neck injuries so many things are a mess.🙄 good to know there are easy, gentle things I can do. Thank you. Hope you have a stress-free week too.🙂
A stressful w/e here both our elderly dogs, who have heart conditions (grandfather&granddaughter) are suffering from the heat 34c today, and yesterday one of them narrowly missed a viper when walking in the woods.......oh for Irelands lack of snakes xx
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden Happily not a problem for healthy adults, but can be a problem for children and certainly for animals, who always investigate nose first .So pleased we don't have a thing more venomous 😕 shall be giving the woods a miss until the colder weather .
Thank you so much. The Yoga Picnic looks lovely. This was helpful as my daughter suffers from vasovegal syncope. Simply put fainting. I'll share this with her. 🕉
Just discovered your site and have really enjoyed watching several videos on a rainy day here in the Pacific Northwest. I wanted to share a story about the vagus nerve that might be helpful. I was out hiking and moving a little too rapidly through a rocky area and suddenly fell flat down on my face. So fast it happened and I hit my knee pretty hard but fortunately no other damage. I was, however, pretty shocked and my knee was bruised and there was still a ways to walk. My friend said to try a vagus nerve exercise. So I sat there on the ground and did the one where you put one arm up around the head and tip your head to one side and the other arm holds the ribcage while your gaze is up and to the opposite corner. Then switch arms and tip head to the other side. The effect was truly amazing. I had been feeling a bit woozy and faint because I'd hit some nerves in the my knee, and suddenly I was completely ok and could stand up and walk all the way back with no problem at all. That really wouldn't have been the case if I hadn't done the vagus nerve rebalance!
Thank you, Dear Terri! I'm going to the (Pacific) ocean with friends this weekend and next - and one of my favorite things to do is Qigong or Tai Chi on the sand - wind in my hair! Trauma specialist Resmaa Menachem offers an exercise for 'making safe' after trauma that engages both the vagus nerve and psoas muscles in the hips - standing with feet apart look forward, then to the right over your shoulder, and a bit farther, allowing the hips to twist so you can see behind you - register that you are safe. Turn forward, head and hips neutral, then repeat to the left - so you've scanned the whole space, then forward again, and note how you feel. This is great when you enter a new space, and can be very subtle. Similar sequences are common to many practices - in the Japanese morning exercises, some twists include arm swings, in Qigong, one hand mat be above the head facing heavens, the other behind your tailbone,
Thank you for your lovely videos and sharing your knowledge with us all xx
You are so welcome! xx
Please more on yoga. This pairs beautifully with your relationship to the earth. Thank you and I love seeing your cat!
Glad you enjoyed it. I don't have a yoga practice beyond the sun salute but I would go to a class if there was one near. xx
What a beautiful video. Seeing everyone gathered in nature and enjoying themselves melts my heart. Being out and connecting is such an important priority. Our Mother is calling us 🌎💜
Most definitely xx😃💚

I’m crying because of the song. Why can’t we live in harmony? Just love and respect.
The majority of us can - it only takes a few to ruin things and to twist things xx

Lovely looking event Teri! I have an increasing interest in Polyvagal theory and how it connects to our nervous system which in turn can govern our state of being, and health! This stuff should be taught in schools!

He was in his element - the energy was lovely to see. xx
Not sure what I would do in your neck of the woods though.... xx
Always good healthy information to make our lives Golden. Love to you and Lol Thank you
Love to you too Tacy, have a peaceful and smooth week xx
In our small glorious part of the world we have a similar gathering called Soul Sunshine Festival…and it does exactly that❤️ Thank you Terri and blessings.

Good Morning! What a wonderful informative video. I need to ground more good reminder. Never knew that was called block breathing. I learned that from a doctor almost 40 years ago to help me control an asthma attack. (Food additive allergies that caused them)
It is a very helpful way to calm down and get back to a state of balance. xx Hope you are well now x
So happy to find your site, and learn from your wisdom..Thank you for sharing.
I’m living in Woolwich Maine, in the woods with the coastal shores in my backyard..

Mother Nature is the Best Healer🌺🪶🐝💜
Definitely She is xx
Hi again , I do not know what I did, sometimes I make things dissappear in the computer but it is not on purpose. Yes I would like to visit Ireland. This year I will go to Zante a Greek island with my nephew and sister=in-law. I love wind!!! Whenever there is a storm I am outside charging my batteries, I guess... I see when I can take more time off and visit Ireland ...Just hoping...!!! THANK YOU😃
You should have been here yesterday - we had plenty of wind!!😂 xx
The Yoga Picnic seems like a great idea and currently looks something like how Glastonbury started but look what happened with that. I think I prefer the smaller version! I bet John Lennon was smiling at that rendition of his song.
Smaller festivals are much more friendly and intimate - I bet he was smiling. xx
yes to everything and also enjoy your week too many blessings xo
Many Blessings Mariel - hope your week is good xx
Lovely video!
Thank you! xx
I can see my sister and niece sat in your audience, hopefully I can get over for TYP next year , 🙏
Wow! I could say that has blown my mind! The connections and entanglements and degrees of separation!!!
What a lovely video! Thank you. My one and only hawthorn tree has died, which saddened me. I'll be on the lookout for another. Have a lovely week! ❤️
So sorry to hear that - what a shame. IT might rejuvenate so give it a chance. We had a Willow we thought had died but it came back! xx
Thank you so much for sharing your way of living and giving some of us a positive safe new direction and way of thinking for a much better living. I must say from the heart watching your videos give me CALMNESS.
You are so welcome
Hi Terri 🤗
Thank you for addressing the vagus nerve. I've spinal and neck injuries so many things are a mess.🙄 good to know there are easy, gentle things I can do. Thank you.
Hope you have a stress-free week too.🙂
Sorry to hear about your injuries. I am sure that some of the exercises will be of help xx
A stressful w/e here both our elderly dogs, who have heart conditions (grandfather&granddaughter) are suffering from the heat 34c today, and yesterday one of them narrowly missed a viper when walking in the woods.......oh for Irelands lack of snakes xx
Sorry to hear they are suffering. WE are alternating between 12-15 and 18-19 at the moment. Are the snakes there seriously poisonous?
@@DanusIrishHerbGarden Happily not a problem for healthy adults, but can be a problem for children and certainly for animals, who always investigate nose first .So pleased we don't have a thing more venomous 😕 shall be giving the woods a miss until the colder weather .
Very cool! Thanks for the vagus nerve reminders!
Very simple to do - only takes a few minutes xx
Thank you so much. The Yoga Picnic looks lovely. This was helpful as my daughter suffers from vasovegal syncope. Simply put fainting. I'll share this with her. 🕉
Hope it helps! xx
Welcome to the channel and hope you enjoy the videos here. Glad that you recovered from the shock of the fall and thanks for sharing that tip. xx
Thank you for another lovely video, the festival looked great x
You're welcome and yes the festival was very pleasant and enjoyable xx
Loved this episode, it was just what I needed. Off to hum all day long.
Such a simple thing - just to remember to do it. xx

You're welcome! xx
❤❤ thank you for sharing your video.
My pleasure. xx
Thank you so much ! from France!
Bonjour Martine - glad you enjoyed it xx
Similar sequences are common to many practices - in the Japanese morning exercises, some twists include arm swings, in Qigong, one hand mat be above the head facing heavens, the other behind your tailbone,
Thanks for that @1Lightdancer - great little exercise xx
