Both of you ladies are too young to worry about your age. The dollhouse is unique and lovely. I’d like to shrink down and live there. Thanks for sharing.
I have had a wonderful time taking this journey with you both. I love seeing mothers and Daughters working together and enjoying each others company. 😊
I was mesmerized from start to finish by your wonderful, inspiring video. Thanks so much! Kate, when i was 27 thought I was already getting old. In a few days I will be 85, and now I think I am lucky to still feel the excitement of youthful exploration, finding new things to explore and learn.
I’m 68 and I quite agree. It’s still not too old to find something to get excited about. I have been painting rocks. When I saw the trend I thought how fun it was when I did that over 60 years ago. It’s still fun!
This is such a charming old doll's house which I have totally enjoyed seeing again! The fact that it's filled with pieces saved from your childhood and/or accumulated over time from various places makes it even more special, Fleur! And I'm particularly impressed that Kate has gifted the fireplaces to you for Christmas and found the lovely peg doll for your nursery! - so nice to have a legacy of doll's and miniatures as part of your family history and to see a shared passion being carried forward into the next generation.💝
👍I will love anything and everything that you kindly want to show me/us☺ I remember watching you find or got some items. 🥀 Sweet Kate that your age is twenty-perfect🤩 I sit and rewatch your videos over and over again. You both calm me🤗Thank you from my heart.
This was very pleasant! I love all those tiny details and to listen to the both of you, sharing your love for dolls houses and supporting each other ❤.
The funny thing is, I've always loved doll houses but not the dolls in them. As a kid, I spent hours redoing the the doll house rooms but the dolls stayed on display on my bedroom shelves...... until I had to dust them. Then they went into a box and got shoved under the bed. Never did actually play with them. OH and you're right about the German "soap".
Hello Fleur and Kate! It was "Seife, Soda and Sand" and was used for Laundry. Seife... Soap, Soda... Sodium carbonate and Sand is sand. 😊 I like your films very much. Thank you. Greetings from Vienna
I love the house. It is totally sweet and charming.❤❤❤ Why not Google free Delft tile images? Shrink them down on a copier and apply them to a wood dresser. Make your own. You can do it!😊💪
It’s so wonderful to see the process of creating the rooms in such a long period. When my mother leave my father and we go in another place, I lost my dollhouse the both make for me. Today I only had a picture of it. It’s always so heartwarming to see your videos, because I feel like I have my own dollhouse back to assemble and play with it. And I had in my kitchen all the German pottery you show in your video…thanks as always for sharing❤
Thank you so much, so fun & beautiful to see. I love listening to all your stories & memories. I found a big old vintage doll house for £30 in a charity shop & you give me so much inspiration.
I loved the nursery and kitchen best. Everything you ladies put together is warm and cozy and filled with love. I hope someday you will film yourselves out shopping for some of the treasures you find at shops. Always enjoy a visit with you both. 😊
@@theminiatureworldofkitcabo1633 I can’t believe you took the time to reply to little old me! You are my absolute favourite TH-camrs *swoons and faints*
Hi! Love your Channel. By the way mehl meen flour in english or farine in french. I Will keep watching you on your quest for treasures. Sylvie from Québec, Canada
This is the content I'm here for! I love mixing bits of contemporary with vintage in my old house. It's a continuation of the house through the ages. It should keep acquiring things. I'd like to see all the films you mention.
Totally charming. Your dolls house is lovely Fleur. Made extra special because you have things from your childhood in there. Along with memories of that time no doubt. Playing with the dolls house. 😊 x
Such a beautiful loved house. Just how a dollshouse should be...Full of things to see and stories behind each item. I do remember the boots under the bed in the master bedroom, you had 1 and unboxed the other...thankyou for showing us ...adorable❤
This video was captivating, so many little things to capture the imagination. I absolutely loved the little dolls house that was under the bed in the nursery. It’s wonderful having original William Morris wallpaper as well. I think your house needs an extension so you can fit everything else you still want to get in 😆
How fun was this to watch. It sure has changed! Most people change their styles in their house so it makes sense that you would change up this adorable house for these magical residents! Thanks for sharing!=
I love visiting your doll houses! They are always changing and it is interesting to see what you add and how you move things around. Thanks for sharing with us!
The house is just lovely. I’m so happy for you both finding each little piece and reminiscing about the fun you’ve had over the years. I would be very interested in seeing the sewing box aged and filled as that is one of my favorite things to do. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and knowledge. xx
I have recently been passing things on I am no longer using... recently, I passed on something that I could have sold for quite a lot but I knew the person I gave it to was going to appreciate it and use it.... so I was very happy to give it to them.... sometimes it's not about the financial aspects. I love seeing all the re purposing that goes on in your little houses and the relationship you both have is priceless.
That little 'rattle' item that Fleur got from the antiques fair is a Vinaigrette, they would have put perfume in it and held it under the nose to stop bad smells. It's 18th to 19th century ❤
Doll house furniture is so expensive, even if it is modern, as was my daughters doll house, which was a pain in the butt to put together, we had working lights, all the dolls, now all dismantled and put in a cupboard. Super video. ❤❤❤I love small things, have lots of mini things. My favourite is my collection of tiny bottles, so many different shapes, colours. There is one in the shape of a fish, and they all have tiny stoppers, a northern are my 1980 tiny tin can necklaces, coke, Fanta, so tiny , and a perfume bottle I got in Southampton with a silver cap, it is minute.❤❤❤❤
I could listen to you talk about each find for hours. Have you thought about having a journal of this dolls house and noting down where the items came from, how much you paid or who gifted them to you. I have a junk journal for my dolls. Where I got them, the before and after photos of what they looked like, because all have needed some kind of restoration, and the maker, age etc. Even their names 😊
Such a wonderful video of how things changed.... just like real life! The triples you were talking about Fleur with Seife was also Sand and Soda. I have learned so much from the both of you!! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. When I watch your videos, it's like I'm right there with my 2 besties. ♥♥♥
How I remember watching this when you started your journey. I forgot all about this as time passed and this popped up Im subbed now and love seeing this progression. I will be watching from now on. Many Thanks for sharing this.
I was a total tomboy growing up, I didn’t like dolls at all preferring my stuffed animals. We had a dolls house that my maternal grandmother designed and built our cousins had one just like it except they weren’t allowed to play with theirs. Ours was played with a lot by my two eldest sisters, my brother wasn’t interested in it and neither was my other sister. My mother and I renovated it for my middle niece’s fifth birthday, my dad built a dollhouse for my eldest niece that could be folded flat and tucked away. I hope she still has it as she just had her first child (a girl) at the end of April. I now find miniatures and dolls fascinating it’s amazing how our tastes change over the years. 🙂🐈🐈⬛💖🌈
I absolutely love looking at your doll house’s.💕💕💕Thanks to you all I get so inspired and always make new and lovely things. My Welch dresser is thanks to you all and I think I’m going to carve some toys for my baby Dollie’s. Oh the food is the best I’ve made cakes and fish . My lovely salmon dish is thanks to you. Lovely video. ❤ I kept it for a gloomy Sunday afternoon and today was the perfect rainy day to watch it. As you already found out "Mandeln" (mun delln) means alomonds, "Mehl" (mail) means flour (salt would be "Salz", Kate 😉) and "Seife" (sy fay) soap. The writing on both German pieces in the kitchen is older than 1920s. More like 1890s. The Seife could be 1920s to 1940s. As Fleur already thougt, the soap tin probably came with "Sand" and "Soda" (sodium carbonate) on a little shelve and belonged into the kitchen/laundry room. Instead of Erzgebirge (earts gay beer gay) you could simply say East Germany or GDR. Grödnertal is pronounced like "grayed nare tall". 😊
"Mandeln" doesn't only refer to candied almonds. Just almonds in general. They were often used for baking and even ground into almond-"mehl" or flour 😊
I'm utterly obsessed with William Morris! Do you know that he was commissioned to design a stained glass window in a stately home in Derbyshire?... I have seen it in pictures. It is stunning. He's kinda quite connected with the mill town in Staffordshire where I live; having come here to work with one of the many mill owners that made it a very affluent town at one time!
It's lovely I love all the little things you have in it looks as if they have always been there I have three dolls houses myself it's very addictive 🎉❤
I was just thinking I recognised the paper in the master bedroom when you asked if it was also William Morris. It is! I just checked and its the Queen Anne wallpaper (the living room is wild tulip if you'd forgotten!)
Hallo lovely ladies, Mandeln are just almonds. The sugar coated ones (kandierte Mandeln) wouldn't usuallly be stored in a kitchen. You would buy them at a christmas market or a fun fair. You need to eat them in a day or two since the sugar will otherwise become soft and really sticky.
Both of you ladies are too young to worry about your age. The dollhouse is unique and lovely. I’d like to shrink down and live there. Thanks for sharing.

Hi girls, you can make another square room, and make it into a store an antique shop. Not to sell anything but a fun store.
The funny thing is, I've always loved doll houses but not the dolls in them. As a kid, I spent hours redoing the the doll house rooms but the dolls stayed on display on my bedroom shelves...... until I had to dust them. Then they went into a box and got shoved under the bed.
