Hang the giant spoon on the kitchen wall. According to my mum, folklore is....as long as you have a giant spoon and/or fork on your kitchen wall you will never go hungry. She had both and cherished them until the day she passed away.
Thank you for that. I always wondered why my elder family members all had giants spoons and forks on their walls. I thought it was just a trend of that era or something. 😅
So nice to see you playing with your new OLD treasures but perhaps a shelf over the dresser in the kitchen next to the sink for additional jug storage would help until Fleur finds the perfect Welsh cupboard.
I've been thinking... maybe what you could do one day is create a dolls' "cooperative" shop: we used to have them in Scotland (probably England too) when I was young. Even small villages had a "Co-op", that would sell a few other things besides just food. But then in the slightly bigger villages or towns, there would be "Co-ops" that sold everything from TVs to carpets, kettles, pots, some furniture, blankets and sheets. And I think they could order in things that weren't kept in the shop too. But all those spare radios and jugs and whatnot could be "for sale" in a "dolls' coop"... It was you saying you need to make a "jug shop" that reminded me. I think you could pay a membership, and then the members would get a small dividend at the end of every year.. I think (not so clear on those details!). You could Google them to find out more.
Always enjoy your ramblings, there are too many serious people in this world these days! Those little plates, jugs and bowls were beautifully painted. TREASURE!!!
It's a lot of fun watching the unboxing's and being able to share your excitement. Had to chuckle when things fall over when adding new bits ... (I call it Dolls house Jenga). You mentioned a 'Museum' and a 'big new house '? I don't think I've found the film's for those, but maybe they're to come? Mrs Pepperpot x
I like Kate's flower pot more,it looks more real. The white flower pot next to the cups in the kitchen could be swopped for the yellow flower if you wanted the yellow in the kitchen
You make every room a delight to see, bring new life for old treasures. Dried herbs hanging from the kitchen ceiling might look cute. Great team work, and thanks for sharing.
As I'm watching today (Thursday) from US. my family is in Rome and sending me photos of old columns, and you have an old "Roman" vase. Such a small world!
I adore both of you and it’s so calming to watch your unboxing and dollhouse decorating. Love your miniature ideas, all of them. I wish I had such a good imagination!
I love your hair dark Fleur! I have a friend who goes through her house and rotates out belongings, moving them from room to room and sometimes in a box for a few months at a time! It helps her feel like she has new fresh things all the time! You might try that with the doll house rooms!
I love watching you repurpose what you find into craft projects or new dolls I hope you will do more of these soon. So much fun to watch you un-wrap things you have bought or get sent I like it even more now that you are doing it with you both in the camera and not just hand shots.🙃😉
I enjoyed that so much, I'm going to immediately watch it a second time! (and then a third, fourth, fifth, etc... over the next few months). Thank you so much for sharing your discoveries! kindest regards, k
I've never seen a dolls house so full of things as yours. So much to see! The eyes don't know where to look first. You need another doll house for sure. 😉😉
Fleur your dolls house looks wonderful, I love the cluttered Victorian look. It’s very homey ❤ Kate how is your little cottage getting on ? Can’t wait to see what you do next 😘
I love the little white kitty on the stool. I would say the brown jug might be for buttermilk....just my imagination. Tomorrow is July 4th here in the USA, our celebration of independence. Maybe you have something for that little house in red white and blue for your neighbors over the pond? 🙂
I wonder if the blue piece with holes in it 7:03 was like ladies would have on their dressing table or dresser for hat pins? I have a similar one that was in my grandmother's house that was part of a dresser set. I'm 75 so it would have been from the early 1900's.
All those white plates maybe you could make clay food that stays on the plates or that can be moved around to those plates you know push it into the plate and then shape it on the plate and then take it off so it can dry and then it can just be placed on the plate when you use it?
@theminiatureworldofkitandcaboodlers , can't believe I'm venturing to give YOU advice!; teeny tiny oval pearlescent beads; (any colours I suppose) make adorable teeny tiny soap ledged on the back of a teeny tiny sink.
@miniatureworldofkitandcaboodlers, how will you approach it if you do attempt a clothes rail for inside your dolls' wardrobe? Because I need to do this really but haven't happened upon a successful way of making it stick!

I love that.❤🥄
You made me recall my late grandparents had both on their kitchen wall, too. Never knew the folklore.
Thank you for sharing that info.We always had big spoon and fork ,didn't know why.
My grandparents had giant fork and spoon hanging in their kitchen.
Thank you for that. I always wondered why my elder family members all had giants spoons and forks on their walls. I thought it was just a trend of that era or something. 😅
I was like I was in a pantomime screaming. It’s on the floor!

I love your reaction when you open parcels with tiny treasures in them, it’s lovely watching you place pieces around your dolls house, tfs x Julie

Que hermoso y entretenido es ver sus videos, es como volver a ser niñas y jugar ❤

I like Kate's flower pot more,it looks more real.

That was a fabulous box of bits for your houses. And the new bits in the 1920 house looks great 🥰
What fun!
you need to build a manor house with humongous rooms!!!
I enjoy these unboxings so much, love all the miniatures you ladies find, they are going to be beautiful in the dolls houses 💕

New to your channel and am in love!! Could you do a tour of your workshop and materials??
All those white plates maybe you could make clay food that stays on the plates or that can be moved around to those plates you know push it into the plate and then shape it on the plate and then take it off so it can dry and then it can just be placed on the plate when you use it?
So fun and lovely!! Thank you!! 😊
What about putting some shelving above the sink for mugs, and such?
🙋♀️❤️
❤❤❤❤
Love watching your videos. You both have a real talent. What are the lights you use in your lamps
@theminiatureworldofkitandcaboodlers , can't believe I'm venturing to give YOU advice!; teeny tiny oval pearlescent beads; (any colours I suppose) make adorable teeny tiny soap ledged on the back of a teeny tiny sink.
✨️💖✨️
This is wonderful! Where do you purchase the lots?
🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍
The wooden tray looks more like a wooden picture frame.
Are the cardboard kitchen diys still coming?
A question- do the fourth walls (the doors to the dollhouse) never get decor, i.e. pictures hanging?
@miniatureworldofkitandcaboodlers, how will you approach it if you do attempt a clothes rail for inside your dolls' wardrobe? Because I need to do this really but haven't happened upon a successful way of making it stick!
Put a pic of the dresser so l ca n look out for one
forks do get lost idk why not just dolls ones but real aswell
Less is more
🎉your both so lovely but i think mum needs to look more to balance it out a bit 🎉😊
What?
@@deenadichmont5584I think they mean, mum should unbox more of the things. Like it’s Christmas 🎁
Don't put too much stuff in your room cause we won't see the beauty of the Object😊
I adore their style - so many sweet objects in the rooms! So homey and comfortable looking!
