    @6:55 " I didn't do anything to make it break"..LOL....I did the same thing homie. Or rather " I didn't do anything too" ! No worries...nothing superglue didn't fix. Beats $25 for a new one. Great vid !

      Kevin Richmond lmao, the plastics on the car go to shit if they are in the sun. Last owner kept the car I’m the sun 24/7. The whole dash bezel broke into about 10 pieces. That costed me about $80.
      Thank you man, thanks for the view 💪

    Thank you ! I’m having the same thing with 2000 Mustang as well. Hate having to open the passenger door from the door handle every time I have someone with me. Gets on my nerves!

      Exactly, it’s not classy at all 😂 I wish you luck! Not to much of a hard job. It’s just difficult removing the module from its mounting point. But, be patient

    Typical domestic cheap plastic. Lol. Keep it up. I'm going to start filming some of the cars I work on, we may have to collaborate.

    Didn't mention the three torx screws holding on the locking mechanism. Or clearly show how to pull out the actuator. There's wiring clips and it doesn't just pop right off.

    • @AutoMotivate
      @AutoMotivate  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      its nearly impossible to show the process of pulling the actuator out.

    I have 1994 mustang and I’m removing the actuator but there’s this hook on top and it doesn’t come out any clue or tips?

    Video labeled 94-04 but you say 99-04. Which is it? I’ve got a 98 and it does look the same.

      It’s from 94-04, I guess when I was recording the video I was unsure. Sorry about that!

    Did your other door lock work?
    Mine is only the passenger side.

    • @AutoMotivate
      @AutoMotivate  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both sides of mine were out, I bought the car like that.

    • @dannysa503
      @dannysa503 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh ok.
      Got it.
      I suppose it's posible that only one door lock stops working.
      And the other still works.
      Since each door has its actuator.
      Thanks for replying so fast man.
      Thank you so much for your video.

      Dani_el no problem! Happy to help.
      Correct, so they can die at separate times.
      However, I would go ahead and replace the other one while you are doing the job. If one is out, most likely the other one is going to go out soon.
      Plus, the actuators come as a bundle, anyways

    My driver door will not lock or unlock. Passenger side works fine though. I do not hear any noises. What could it be?

    • @AutoMotivate
      @AutoMotivate  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d say it’s your actuator.

    • @AutoMotivate

    Is this car a good first car?

    • @AutoMotivate
      @AutoMotivate  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you aren’t an adrenaline junky and are patient, then yes.

      @@AutoMotivate So not a car to go fast? Lol

    • @AutoMotivate
      @AutoMotivate  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@b.c.gamingss Its not the fastest car, but its not slow. What i meant is that its easy to lose control of the car, so if you love adrenaline, youll probably not control the car the way it should be controlled. And, that takes you learning the car, which also takes time and patience.

    • @b.c.gamingss
      @b.c.gamingss 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AutoMotivate well I enjoy going fast but not all the time. Is there a way to make the car more stable? Also is it a good car to learn how to drive manual?

    • @AutoMotivate
      @AutoMotivate  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      B.C. Gamingss to make it more stable, you’ll have to upgrade the suspension, and you could add strut supports and frame supports for extra measure. (This is what ill be doing soon)
      To drive manual, I say it’s decently easy. The clutch pedal is a little heavy, but I say if you want to learn manual, go for it. I recently change my stock shifter to a short trow shifter to allow for better gear changes. The throws on the stock shifter are pretty long.
