For example KBLM is an uncontrolled airport but on the sky vector page it list nearby joint base McGuire Dix Lakehurst under the communication section. I've been told that it has to do with making an instrument approach but I'd like to understand much better. Also what does APP/DEP stand for? Thanks!
I really don’t understand why this isn’t all automated now. Surely a computer can do a better job of coordinating all of this activity? The pilot shouldn’t have to say a word.

Take a look at Tesla and self driving cars. You cannot trust technology.
