Cillian Murphy finally getting leading roles in major productions like he deserves.
He’s good friends with the director apparently? He did play in Batman Begins, Inception, and Dunkirk, lol, so maybe it was inevitable to play a leading role.

I guess for this role, Nolan waiting untill Murphy gets old
I just hope they shows Oppenheimers "obsession" with the vedic scriptures.
Scriptures that explains the hindu Gods waging war and using nuclear bombs against each other.
He even learned sanskrit and he always kept a copy in his pocket and had it wherever he went.
And the vedic scriptures are thousands of years old.
Its kinda odd that Oppenheimer was "obsessed" with the vedic scriptures which explains nuclear bombs and he is the one to become the inventor of the nuclear bomb.
He even quoted Vishnu in the famous quote "I have become death, destroyer of worlds"
Here is a part where the description of the Gods using nuclear bombs on each other and the after effects and side effects when using the bombs in the vedic scriptures:

I particularly love the fact that they didn’t show any of the big names in the trailer from the star cast given in description, and instead gave Cillian all the spotlight he deserves!

Yesss, I didn’t even know about this movie but Oppenheimer’s story and the Manhattan project are a lot stranger and more wild that people tend to know.
This is gonna be be so dope. Like Dunkirk, I like when Nolan does a film with no special sci-fi angles just thorough world building with that unique Chris Nolan execution and realism.
Christopher nolan is at his best when he infuses sci-fi. Literally his highest grossing films are sci-fi
I’d sort of wish he’d do something mid budget like Memento and The Prestige again but once you go big budget there’s no going back!
He screwed up Dunkirk pretty bad
Can’t wait. Nolan never disappoints and Murphy has been underrated & overlooked as a lead actor long enough. Match made in heaven for me

I felt like I was in the movie theater, yet I watched this is whole thing on my phone. This man (Christopher Nolan) is saving Hollywood right here. My gosh, that trailer. R.I.P my low expectations because he set the bar that high. 👏🏿🔥

I love it. Actors should act. Back in the day, you’d rarely see someone from a former sitcom/tv role in a major production. But I love that actors can just be in whatever.

Give the cast and crew a big round of an applause for sacrificing themselves from a large nuclear bomb explosion during filming make the movie felt more real and authentic

Can’t wait to see this. One of my favorite professors in college worked on the Manhattan Project. He had a letter from Dr. Oppenheimer framed in his office.

Haven’t seen Tenet, but Dunkirk was one of the worst war movies I’ve seen, so at least this might be better.
@@aus-li Yeah, Tenet was a slight miss but since this movie is based off history it looks like it could be much better. Dunkirk I thought was good. I loved his other movies too: Interstellar, Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, The Prestige and Memento.
@@Vamatt99218 I’m not into any live action Batman movie, lol. It’s probably because I don’t like Batman, with the exception of Kevin Conroy’s Batman…since I think he gave the character the best personality out of all the others.
But yea, some of his other movies I thought were good. I just don’t think Dunkirk belongs in any top 10 best war movie list…it just lacks in mostly everything except the cinematography; it seemed more like an arthouse movie for sure.

Cillian Murphy had always trouble with something hot or dangerous: sun in sunshine, zombies in twentyseven days after, dangerous dreams in inception,pencils in move about boeing with Foster, now bomb in opperheimmer
Could not have picked a better actor to convey Oppenheimer's haunted 1000-yard stare.

My ceiling caused a lot of problems so it was a pain to put in two speakers for a 5.1.2. Would love to try and put two more in there for 5.1.4, but feel like upgrading my subwoofer would be the better option to start!
