    The standing split is the only thing I can't do but this is the most thorough splits stretch video I've ever watched.

    Hi, my name is Holly and I'm a gymnast who has been struggling with my leaps. I have my left split, but can't nail my right and middle. This really shows good stretching. I need oversplits to get a 180° leap, so this should help. Thankssss!💖

    I've challenged myself 2 weeks ago to be able to do a full split within 365 days. Today I was able for the first time since I did ballet classes 10 years ago to grab a hold of my toes when doing a seated forward fold with one leg! Still very amature-like, but it was a great feeling anyway. Thank you miss Hilman :-)
    PS: your videos on back stretches and releasing pain in neck, shoulders and back are amazingly helpful!

    Wonderful!! MANY stretching videos online spend small amounts of time in each stretch...right as the body is getting adjusted and loosening up they jump to the next position. Perfectly paced. Thank you!

    thanks Jen you are an amazing teacher! I watch your videos for back pain and sciatica regularly and since I need to get more flexible I just did this one (the first 20 min only as I am far from doing the splits) and it actually removed the tight spot I had in my lower back for the past week! I will do this one regularly and hope to get to the splits this year! thanks again and I hope you keep on doing these great videos!

    Been doing the splits with yuo for years...in my 40s and can still get them...that is IF I stretch every day. Love psychetruth and usually criticize harshly when videos don't feature Donnie. BUT you are so cool! Thanks...you have really helped me maintain my splits.The youtube videos on splits are pretty low quality save PSYCHEtruth!

    It took me 6 weeks to learn the side splits (not that I've mastered it completely). And now I'm still learning the centersplits...
    Now I still stretch every day so I hope I'll master both of my splits!

    I'm an aspiring circus artist and have been doing this video + Donnie's 24min split workout video every day for about 9 days now! :) I've already noticed big gains in my flexibility! I started practicing circus with 0 dance or gymnastics experience. I'm 23 and a determined to not let that or my age slow me down! It could take a year to get my full splits, but you have to learn to love the journey :) Thank you for this!

    I just want to say thanks so much! Your video was the only one I could watch without getting extremely frustrated that I still cant do my splits. I actually did my left split tonight, and it is because your videos are so relaxing, it is so much easier to surrender and relax into the stretch without needing a specific outcome.     i love this tutorial, i have done it every day for ten days and i can see how much progress in my split has been achieved. not long til i nail it. so thank you. it is a great dynamic stretch. afterwards i feel absolutely at peace also so so many benefits.

    I do this everyday & I love it. So thank you! Quick question- when I am doing the seated forward fold & your other similar stretches, I feel a pulling sensation behind my knee. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? How can I move past it? Thank so much! Courtney

      I don't know if this reply is still useful to you but when you're stretching you should feel it at the back of your quads, your calves (a bit) and your butt, but NEVER at the back of your knees. I am not a professional but I have learnt it the hard way that when you are feeling that pulling sensation behind your knees it means that you are pushing yourself too hard and you should back off a bit otherwise it will be very bad on your knees. When I was stretching I was not aware of that and pushed myself too hard, turns out my already sensitive knees got weaker and I had slight pain on my knees (Don't worry I got my physiotherapy booked) So take my advice, even though you can do those stretches but if you felt it behind your knees instead of your hamstrings it means you are pushing yourself too hard or doing it wrong

    Jen, thank you for your videos. I feel so much better after doing shoulder & hip stretches. With the splits, though, I feel like I am getting worse. I could do splits a year ago, but my hamstrings got too tight from a lot of dancing. Then I started doing your video, and felt much better. 2 days ago, I was not able to go down much, it got worse for me. I only do once a day, but I do his stretches 2 or 3 times a day, for about 4 weeks now. Tell me what Iam doing wrong?

    I've found this video so relaxing to stretch to. Your video has really adjusted the way I approach my stretching. I don't find it stressful or pressure myself to get further down, I just relax where I am comfortable. I do have a question, I do pole fitness and I would really like to be able to do Jade splits, but this involves holding the splits in the air, without the aid of the floor to hold my splits open. If you have any tips on how to obtain this I would be very grateful.

    This was a pain to do because I'm not that flexible so I had to hold up a majority of my weight so as not to over stretch, but I felt great when this was over. My muscles felt less tense and more stretched, and I can't wait to finally be able to do a full split. Thank you!

    I've done gymnastics in the past but I completely lost my flexibility, it sucks. So I'm trying to get back into it and it's going pretty easy! The only thing is that if I don't stretch a day I can really feel that the muscle has lost flexibility the next day. I've tried some ballet lessons this year and I'm going to be starting this semester back hopefully, if only school wasn't such a pain ;) Maybe a video on the popular ballet poses like arabesque (penche) and attitude? The lifting of my leg in arabesque is really good but the arch of my back is horrid. It looks more like a spiral (I figure skate) so I wish I could get my back more arched! Or the different pirouettes that there are like a la seconde etc. Very good video, loved it!

    This was intense lol I remember as a kid when I did dance and martial arts & team sports, I could do the splits on the right side without even practicing or trying. I was just able to do it right away. I can almost do it now again and I will soon!

    OMG This was great! I will try to do this as many days out of the week as I can. I like this so much better than the other video about the splits here on psyche truth with that other gal because she's hyper extended. It's just nice to see someone else who isn't hyper extended like yourself doing these amazing positions that i want to get to.
    Btw I'm a dancer and I just need help with the forward bend, forward splits and side splits. ^^

    Hi Jen! I love your videos!
    I wanted to know, during the standing splits, are you opening up your hips at the top or squaring them? I wasn't sure, but I could definitely get higher if I opened up my hips! Thanks so much, I can already tell this is really benefiting me!

    can you make one for wrestling. Wrestlers needs to be very flexible and I need to learn my splits and get good at my back bend for when I'm throwing.
