      @kyliecrawford1301 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Adnan Khan Muscle pain is normal because as you stretch your muscles are breaking apart, causing a low grade burning sensation. If your muscles continue to feel sore for days after that, it could be because you are overworking your muscles.

    Your 10-day course is great. I am a beginner to yoga, and thanks to your ten-day "course", I am slowly, but steadily progressing. I'll be starting week three tomorrow; I'm still on lesson 3, but I am optimistic. I only move to the next course when I feel I am ready. Right now I am working on the "wheel pose". Thanks again!!!

    Great video. If you've been looking for a yoga-style workout without the jargon, without the too-fast yoga flows or the too-slow meditative styles, this is for you. Yes, she looks 14 in this video, but the moves are thoughtful and well-paced. They can be as easy or as difficult as you like. Very well done.

    THIS IS SO FAR THE BEST, Realistic stretch of pre dancing full body warm up that i finished following without feeling too slow. Other stretches that shows the person can bend her entire back while standing, to have her back folds together with her hips, is too freakishly non-human-----the contourist flexibility training is too farfetched. But this one right here is so real, so useful and so effective, works extremely well for me!

  • @sharonpage8462
    @sharonpage8462 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    I tried this video and the stretches were good techniques. I have not stretched in a long time. I am 52 years old and was able to most of the stretches. I will follow this particular video until I have mastered all stretches and then move on to Day 2.

  • @BBGshop7
    @BBGshop7 8 ปีที่แล้ว +40

    first... I have to say ... For such a small framed woman, you have amazing body strength... I always thought I had exceptional lower body strength and I but I never knew how fit I needed to be for this... I haven't even gotten to the push-ups yet and I had to pause the video to make this comment.. I kept looking up as I was doing the beginning stretches like how many more are we going to do!! and you still kept going and saying "be sure to keep your hips parallel" and I was like "I know but it hurts!" then you would finally say about 4 more.. and then I was like HUH?!?!! LOL.. you are so poised with this video, and very informative with what each stretch is for. and I am excited about strengthening my entire body with this program. I am no where near ready to attempt the scorpion stretch, I came to your video because I wanted to become more flexible... I never realized how much muscle it took to do this.. I use more muscles doing these slow and extended stretches!! and become out of breath seemingly much quicker.. than aerobics .. while aerobics is still good, it is also wonderful to become one with my body to make sure I am doing each move properly.. thank you for posting!

    Thank you for teaching - and thoroughly explaining - the fundamentals and muscles that should be activated in stretches, etc. I took dance and gymnastics as a child and transitioned into cheering, swimming, martial arts - later, an aerobics instructor. Somehow, I never learned the fundamentals of certain moves - it was all the "just keep trying approach." At age 41, I may never do a back walkover again, but I look forward to some awesome poses and handstands in the future! No longer will these be unsafe, "daredevil" attempts with your instruction!

    Hi first of all thanks for the video. Just two things, when I did that camelpose I really hurt my knees, so you could maybe warn for that or explain in smaller steps how to go to that pose, or maybe show an alternative option that doesn't put as much pressure on you knees. the other thing is I have been dancing for a long time, although not on a high level, but because you are on such a high level and it comes easy for you, I don't think you realize your level and the effort that will be needed for some people including me to do some of the exercises, not yet having that basis. If you would explain a little slower I think it might help. For example after standing in a downwards kind of pose don't say 'come up' but 'role up slowly'. Anyway thank you!

    PsycheTruth As per your experience, ideally how much time should it take for a body to be flexible from no flexibility/dance at all? Considering, the workout is done daily henceforth. What I also mean to ask is there is no age limit for this right? I mean if u do it daily, the body should be flexible eventually..right?

    omg that was awesome! Im 50yrs old and was alittle worried I wouldnt be able to do some of the stretches but yep managed them all. Im one of those who is very tight around the pelvic/hip/lower back so these are really helping stretch these areas and give me some pain relief :) looking forward to doing some more!

    GREAT routine I loved it! I can't wait for the rest. This is not quite begginers (not quite intermediate), It was challanging and i paused video a couple of times and flopped with doing planks, back kicks, push ups. I thought "hell when did streaching become such a workout" I was sweating. Not doing this for dance just because I am working out a lot, and I want to remain flexible for the rest of my life. in the past I thought because I am naturally flexible I don't need to streach after exercises... WOOOPSie was I wrong. I found it harder to do splits and bend as far back as I was before.

    Thanks for the vid, I'm going to try some of these by the beach. I find them extra good when you're taking fresh air in while stretching.

    Thank you to have mad this quality video. I am stiff like a board. I am 41 now and don't want to be a oxidated stiff tin man when i get older so now is the time and your videos will help for sure. One suggestion...could you make videos of 10 or 15 min full body stretches. i want to make it part of my daily routine but i cannot spend every day 38 minutes . I will do the 10 day challenge but after that will look for shorter videos . Hope that you can make some cool short video modules for daily routine..thank you kevin

    I'm doing this for my equestrian vaulting! I've rodden horses for many years and just started vaulting so need to be flexible as its a mix of gymnastics and ballet :) found some of this super hard but I'll get there hopefully, I'm not that flexible at the moment :/ hahah

    Just completed day 1! It was a challenge for me being that I am very stiff and unbalanced. I am trying to become more flexible, and stable over all to be able to work out hard to reach muscles.

    Thank you so much Catherine. My goal is to be able to do the splits, all three. My pelvic floor has yet to touch the floor on any of them yet but working towards a full split.

    I love this, and all your other videos. I'm an aerialist in training and I am working on becoming more flexible, and one of my goals is to get my splits and at some point I'd like to be able to do scorpion :) You're my favorite, Catherine!
