Can make an update video, did you ever find a jumper cables to work with the OEM gps ? Dose the unit rattle, and shake, when your driving Dow the street. Hitting pothole?
I ordered a Tesla style for my Infiniti QX60 but in mids of installing I couldn’t get the AC / HEAT and back up camera to work. Maybe I need to program it? Lol but I see it worked well with yours right away so now I’m all confused

Yes, that's one of the only parts you put back!
What wires were not plug and play? Do you still have steering wheel controls? I’m looking into doing this to my 2010 rav4 and I want to know ahead of time what I need.
Theres an extra harness of wires for the 2021 & up Tundra trucks, yes my steering wheel controls still work. If you do buy it make sure you buy the model for your exact truck/year

idk about the 2014 Tundra but the steering wheel controls do work on my Tesla style radio (2017 Tundra)

actually no, no dashboard lights came on. I'm assuming you're asking like oil or hazard type of lights. everything went smooth. i have a 2017 tundra !

I have the same issue with the speed but my unit came with the custom truck on the main screen since that’s the make/model I put when buying the unit.

The WiFi you’re using, is it from your cellphone hotspot or is it the WiFi from the head unit? I only ask because I have a 2021 1794 with the built in WiFi and wanted to retain that feature.
Yes I was using my phone hotspot, my truck is a 2017 so I couldn’t know if the head unit would mess with your built in WiFi. I do know the T-style radio model I got is for 2014-2021 tundras.
Just got mine today and installed it. Everything good, perfect fit as well but only one thing is the sound kinda low for me even i volume up to 30 and not good as oem head unit. Idk how to deal with this.
I didn’t have any trouble with my sound, maybe it could be that you didn’t fully connect the wires ? But if anything I would just message the company!

yes, all the buttons and everything still work on the steering wheel too
i ordered this radio for my tundra, but i have a jeep on the home screen instead of a toyota tundra. How can i change this
Mines came with it already set to the Tundra, you will prob have to contact them directly for them to help you.
So do you secure it with the 10mm bolts? Or does it just clip in?

What are the add ons you will need when buying this
For me just the gps adapter but I don’t even use the tesla radios gps, I use my CarPlay (phone) gps

I'm pretty sure they have a different unit for the newer year Tundra's, i would just go on their site and search for it. My model cost around $800.
After installing the tesla screen it's giving me a warning saying refuel but I'm full of fuel

I’m not sure, my unit came with that one bc when you order it they ask you questions about the truck make/model/year to make it personalized. Idk if you’re able to ask them to put a different color for the truck.

If you do as i do in video it would prob take you around 2 hrs to install and i linked the screen in the description. Also just recently made another video going over the pros and cons of the device!

I would definitely still recommend it, it makes my whole car look newer but there might be an upgraded version. I would look into that if i was you.

It's isn't worth it 3 years later. Those units have lots of glitches, I know I have once. The company won't even back up their products.. if you buy one, get insurance and replace it when it starts to go bad.
