I had the same installed on my 2019 Tundra TRD from Long Radio in West Springfield MA, and the SRS light came on, and the screen doesnt turn on at all, sometimes itll still connect and play but screen stays off. The screen also came out of place. They have done software updates on it and the issues continued, now they are going to put in a new one with all updates. Lets see if it works, I dont think so though.

We are working with SiriusXM in developing a tuner. But currently the only way we can do sat radio is through the app either downloaded to the unit, or downloaded to the phone and accessed via the PhoneLink App.
Multiple questions: 1. Why can't we use the factory nav antenna? 2. Why can't we use the factory mic? 3. No need for a Maestro? If I added maestro, would it help with #2? Thanks!
Greg Scavezze 1. the factory Nav antenna is a different plug. So it won’t plug in. 2. The factory mic isn’t set for our radio. The simple way to put it is it isn’t tuned right for the best response. 3. No need for any 3rd party parts because we do all the CANBUS interfacing. I do not know how a Maestro would interact having multiple CANBUS interfaces in the CaNBUS.
Greg Scavezze we don’t have one. Like mics though not all Nav antennas are the same so even adapting the plug doesn’t mean it will work. Saying that, we aren’t aware of any adaptors for the Toyota. We have seen one for the Ram but only because one of our customers told us about it.

jose rodriguez ya that unfortunately isn’t our system. Sounds like they have a problem with either a piece of hardware being wrong on the radio or they need to redo their CANBUS software because they are missing some data transfer.

Jacob Knight it doesn’t. Different Bluetooth chips require different microphones. We manufacture all of our radios with the same high quality Bluetooth chip, but unfortunately it doesn’t match the factory mics across the different vehicle manufacturers. Not to mention not all vehicles came equipped with Bluetooth 6 years ago so not every car will have a mic and then even within the years often times the manufacturers will change parts.
Mr610aguilar we don’t have the sequoia climate controls working yet. Also the 2011 is a completely different dash. Not sure when or if we will go as far back as 2011.

James Musselwhite we are working on it. There are 3 versions of truck so we are planning them out. If you search ADC Mobile they did a video when they installed one though.
David Duncan not entirely sure. Try logging onto our website www.linkswellinc.com, then go to “Support” then “T-Style Applications” and download the NetFlix App we have there. On the GEN2 it has to do with the version being to old so we got an older version of the app that would work with the older Android versions. 7.1 should be good to go though. I can’t get maps to work with phone calls coming in. It takes over the screen when a call comes in and it’s really annoying missing turns because of it. Is there a way to fix this?
Unfortunately no, that’s a short side of using Android. Everything is app based and like your phone which ever app is on top is the one that’s in charge. So when in a call, BlueTooth takes over. :/

Depends what Nav system you use and what you mean by good. So you can do the built in iGO Nav which works great all satellite powered. The down side is the mapping won’t auto update because it’s not a data based Nav like Google Maps or Waze. If you use the data maps like Google Waze and so on how well it works will depend how good of WiFi source you have.

John Comita Jr. check the wires in the plugs. Usually it’s caused by a pin getting bent and not plugging in all the way. Or it could be a plug not plugged in. Be sure all the plugs are plugged in specifically the 2 plugs for the CANBOX.
LinksWell Inc. just pulled it out again. Everything is plugged everything is plugged in with the wires from the original radio. Everything works except for the airbag light. I do have 2 empty plug connections on the back of the head unit but I could not find any connections for them.
John Comita Jr. Check the pins inside the plugs. They are long and thin and bend easily. Try unplugging all the plug adaptors from the radio and check the pins to see if any of them are bent. That is usually the reason an airbag light is on.
LinksWell Inc. I unplugged the climate connection checked the pins re connected it, just clicked right in. Rechecked the can bus and the connections were tight. Sigh
LinksWell Inc. I took my truck to a shop and they put in a system but I just realized they cut some cables from the amplifier and now I have problems with a speaker and I want to put everything back to how it was originally and put harness so that none of the cables get cut

Edmund Rodriguez no we have CarPlay. Perhaps I miss understood your original question. Our radios run on Android. So they are able to download apps and run them like an Android phone. One of those apps is PhoneLink which run Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. So our systems run an Apple phone but the system itself is not built on Apple IOS.

I just purchased this system for my 2017 Tundra. Do I have to download the Sirius XM app or should it already be interfaced on this system?
So until SiriusXM approves our interface the only way to do SiriusXM on our radio is through the app either downloaded to the radio, or on your phone.

Why is the bluetooth mic necessary? What happens to the factory mic?
TT0973 the factory mic is non operational. We are an aftermarket radio just like everyone else’s when the rubber meets the road.

@@esdriver00 2014. The head unit was replaced with a new one in 2016 due to the well known rebooting issue. Been solid since.

I installed this radio but now my airbag light is on. When I reattach the OEM climate control (tundra lo) it goes out. Is there a fix for this?

Wltr Cbert we build on Android but we have an app that will do Apple CarPlay and they do have RCA outputs. Front, rear, and sub.
