How do you set the light color for the control buttons?
I have the same unit and had to do a factory reset. After that I lost the automatic back up cam when in reverse, (only works if I manually touch the physical button), lost the light functions in the right and left side physical buttons and I also no longer show the actual temp numbers or the meter level for the fan speeds for my AC. Anyone know of the proper selections in the menus to fix these. I have text phoenix but they take forever to answer. Thanks 2017 Tundra XSP

Not really but i pretty much only use Apple Car play on it, which works extremely well

I'm pretty sure they have a different unit for the newer year Tundra's, i would just go on their site and search for it. My model cost around $800.

I would definitely still recommend it, it makes my whole car look newer but there might be an upgraded version. I would look into that if i was you.
I have this. It takes 15-30 SECONDS when it’s cold out so it’s not rlly a big deal guys.

Mines came with it already set to the Tundra, you will prob have to contact them directly for them to help you.

Well i have a 2017 tundra and my truck already had the voice command built in but this screen brought a mic that i could also connect. If i was you i would just look at the specs of the Tesla screen you're buying to make sure.

The WiFi you’re using, is it from your cellphone hotspot or is it the WiFi from the head unit? I only ask because I have a 2021 1794 with the built in WiFi and wanted to retain that feature.
Yes I was using my phone hotspot, my truck is a 2017 so I couldn’t know if the head unit would mess with your built in WiFi. I do know the T-style radio model I got is for 2014-2021 tundras.
Are you getting full screen Android Auto? I see you got full screen with Carplay, but with my S24 Ultra, the Android Auto is not full screen, only half of the screen :(
Let me tell you something. I have this thing and it sucks. Makes you waste like 2 to 3 miles per gallon yeah

Does anyone know if they have improved the boot up time in low temps? Curious to know before buying. Is it because the tablet itself is cold? Is there a mod that can fix this issue? Plan on traveling a lot and expect to be in cold weather conditions on occasion can't imagine waiting 15 min for it to be ready. Will the model with more ram and rom boot faster?

actually no, no dashboard lights came on. I'm assuming you're asking like oil or hazard type of lights. everything went smooth. i have a 2017 tundra !
Do you have a video on how to set nobs for other things and how do you switch to fm radio from am station
i haven't really played around with the switching of button actions, only thing i did was switch the right nob to AC speed but that's it. I also don't really use the radio, I'm mostly always on Carplay.

Its the same on mines, only thing is that when you are reversing/ go into the rear camera move it lowers the volume.
Can you change the truck color on the screen
I’m not sure, my unit came with that one bc when you order it they ask you questions about the truck make/model/year to make it personalized. Idk if you’re able to ask them to put a different color for the truck.

Just got mine today and installed it. Everything good, perfect fit as well but only one thing is the sound kinda low for me even i volume up to 30 and not good as oem head unit. Idk how to deal with this.
I didn’t have any trouble with my sound, maybe it could be that you didn’t fully connect the wires ? But if anything I would just message the company!

15-30 min to turn on when cold. What a POS. I live with weather that is below 60 5 months out of the year. This would SUCK. Glad I saw your video. Thanks for saving me a major headache.
I think it was a mistake on his part, even the most POS e waste, garbage android tablet doesn't take 15min to switch on Im betting he meant 15-30 seconds. I think he made a mistake because i had used pos android devices and also he doesn't sound like the sharpest tool in the shed.
How did you get the tundra on your main screen and your rpm to work? My mph works but rpms ,no
I have the same issue with the speed but my unit came with the custom truck on the main screen since that’s the make/model I put when buying the unit.

Did you change thr vehicle on the home screen? If so, how did you do it?
you need to download an app on the google play store called "Nova7" or if you do appleplay it will just automatically change it when youre connected
I just received my 12" vertical screen and dash bezel from Phoenix Automotive for my 2011 Silverado today. I got the one with 8gb RAM so if there is lag at any time I would be a disappointed. The issue with the screen being unresponsive for 30 min (if I understood you correctly) would be a deal breaker for me. I hope to install mine this weekend. I guess I will see how mine works. Thanks for the video though.

Nah, it's impossible to get lags with 8 GB RAM. I also have a different Android with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB. Works like shine

How did you remove the top icon bar dock?
It goes away on its own, until you touch the top. I mostly only use CarPlay.

i haven't looked that deep into T-style radios but this one is def really nice and has compatible android play.

Mine doesnt beep either.. and cant find a setting to turn it on. Only my lights flash when i lock/unlock with key Fob
