Looks great. Be interested to see how the baffle works. Also, having a top (not middle) door handle might add torque to the hinges over time - easily tightened though. All their other stoves have mid handles, preferably exactly matching the stove body colour. Side glass needs to stay clean & presumably glass releases more side heat spill than solid + vermiculite, so needs further from combustibles? Also, having 180' light means you will see it's beauty, but also reflected on your telly / anything reflective at night?
Lock looks superb - v similar to the fab Hwam / Wiking 'garden latch' style, noting Wiking add an ash caddy and auto air, both for ~£500 less. A side-by-side comparison would be useful - a dealer said the Hwam was at least as good - we will see.
Your full Heta review could be one of your most interesting yet. Thanks.

I run a Morso Badger and Woodwarm Fireview 9kw. Both can have the ash pan emptied when running and therefore run continuously. Fires like this Heta and the DG have to be emptied and re-lit. I assume thats why you grade some, SERIOUS stoves? We also use an Aire 3 which fills up with ash way too quickly and you end up shovelling some out to have any hope of running a longer fire.

This stove isn’t necessarily focused on constant use, but there are lots of people who constantly run stoves without ash-pans. As you can imagine it involves pushing burning charcoal and embers to one side, clearing half the ash out and then loading again to keep it going. When I do this I generally find this is a weekly/fortnightly thing, but as I say this stove is a little more focused on the wow factor. 👍

Really like the side glass and have to agree, you don’t necessarily need the stove to be in an open room as such, I think it would look awesome set within a fireplace, it would illuminate it really nicely and to get a 3D view of the fire would be a whole new dynamic.
    But….
I’d have to take a pair of cutters to that door spring! 😂

      Totally agree!
Although you can just loosen it off, which makes things very easy.
