Their take on The Sound Of Silence is amazing - much closer to the original Simon & Garfunkel version vocally, but with a nice, mildly hard edge in the instrumental aspect. It's an interesting blend. They also did a pretty accurate cover of Hey You by Pink Floyd. As for originals, check out "Bury Me With My Guns On" and "Last Song", among others.
"My volume is all the way up & I feel like it's not loud enough" - This could be Grunge's tag line. #GrungyProblems
So chunky. So good.
RIP Chris Cornell.
You need to hear Jesus Christ Pose, Black Hole Sun, Fell On Black Days, Limo Wreck
Dude.. You have an entire treasure chest of gold to dig through, with Chris Cornell. Soundgarden is my favorite of his projects, but he was involved in SO MUCH AWESOMENESS! I'm happy for you that you get to discover all of it for the first time! \m/ R.I.P Chris!
You should react to "Room of thousand years wide", "Rusty cage", "Burned in my Hand", "Hands all over" and other songs by Soundgarden! They are the best of the grunge music era!
Dude says: "I've never heard of Soundgarden"
I say: "Bullshit"
There is a great song by Temple of the Dog called Reach Down that nobody reacts to. Just some great rock and roll.
Temple of the dog is definitely one of my faves
The acapella/ harmony part like 8 minutes in is unbelievable
Reach Down is one of my favorites.....easily.
Brought tears to my eyes with the memories of the greatest vocalist and person ever...RIP Chris!!!
One of the most bad ass guitar riffs I’ve ever heard!
🖤🖤🖤
I've never seen someone enjoying an SG first reaction SO much . It made me smile to see people being exposed to the greats from my youth 🔥 I don't feel old, but if you've been a 90s alt rock fan in your teens , you still feel young in your head ...but lots of us in our 40s plus and with kids and some with grandkids 😄 Just got to the end of your vid. Very cool outro.
This song was my childhood. Rip Chris Cornell.
I'm so jealous watching you hear that for the 1st time! I've heard it thousands of times and it's still INCREDIBLE!!! 🤟🔥🤟💙
